Welcome to my Morrowind Journal.
Morrowind is a fantastic, open, role-playing game, by some wonderful people at Bethesda Softworks.
It's out now for PC and X-box.
The following pages are a journal of events that have happened in-game, hopefully told in a humorous way.
The Elder Scrolls History 101
This series of games began with Arena, then Daggerfall, both were popular and
successful. These games were set in the world of Tameril, as is Morrowind, the
third instalment in the series. The company has also made 'Redguard' an immense,
entertaining RPG.
Some Morrowind Info
I have only played Redguard prior to Morrowind, so I was surprised at how rich this universe was.
The island on which you play is 10 square miles, full of green grass, swamps, lakes, rivers, wastelands and even an dominating volcano in the centre.
The island has more than thirty towns scattered across the changing lands.
300 dungeons and miles of underground caves.
3,000 non-player-characters (NPCs), over 500 basic spells, More than 300,000 hand-placed items; most of these you can pick up.
6 whole novels worth of text!
300 quests, or missions if you'd prefer, to complete.
A variety of plants and animals to gather ingredients from to make potions.
You can spend hours on end making potions, making spells, enchanting items.
You can enter any building, some may be locked, but if you have the tools and skill you can pick the lock.
Best of all? You can go anywhere and do anything you want! Sometimes I loose myself just wandering around for hours on end.
