< The 'Quest' - Chapter XIV >

Celebration in A'lure

Plot Summary
The group are in the A'lure woods. Ten elves surround them. One steps forward, revealing himself to be Shandor's friend, Faelnon. They are brought to a large dining area, elegantly decorated in Shandor's family colours. This was explained when Shandor told them it was his 'Becoming feast'. The Becoming was once an Elf was of a hundred years of age, a great feast is held in his honour. They ascend to a platform where their tables were set. Elves cheer and holler praises, to which Shandor explains the Elves are supporting the 'Quest'. It was Faelnon and another elf that discovered the Gift's scroll. Great fireworks go into the sky, as Jayles and other creatures sing.

A meal is served, and a delicious one it looked at that. Ariea, a female elf, not unfamiliar to battle, although Shandor would prefer to protect her from it, also arrives at the same time of the food. It is revealed that Shandor and Ariea are to be wed. Much congratulations go around, just before a second set of fireworks. The Becoming Order ascends to the platform and performs a quick service, officially declaring Shandor has Become. After this the meal is cleared and a great dance-area is formed from the other elves' table space. The group make their way down and begin dancing and singing, or playing instruments. The dances go on for a long time, well into the night. As they end acrobats take the music’s place. They perform acrobatics one would not have thought possible. Some of the group are selected to be part of the acrobatics, whether they wish too or not. Shandor, Ariea and Dytalorien are all hoisted up off the ground.

Soon the acrobats end and dancing resumes. It is decided by a few members to have a sparring match. Much to some elves' disapproval the group, who participate, turn the normally ritualistic sparring into more of a drunken brawl. Some continue dancing happily.

Then, the sparring end Dynello and Jenn begin arguing in a language only they and Shandor know. Shandor demands to know what is going on. A long, sorrowful tale is told.

Meanwhile, Skalf and Kamrock (both dwarves) fall out and begin fighting. [Note: During the 'Quest' these two storylines ran parallel, but rather than confuse the reader, I have split them Dynello and Jenn's first, then the fight second... so much for 'Don't need fighting for RP-ing' (which I still stand by)]

A deadlock is reached with both groups. Nothing can be achieved, so they, at the insistence of Shandor, scatter off to their various beds.

Full Logs

[Narrator] The Group are at the edge of the A'lure woods, home of the Elves.

Shandor canters forward on his horse gracefully.

Dytalorien gazes about, reminiscing thoughtfully to himself.

Varadrion looks oddly at peace sitting on his black horse near the woods

Tasselhof walks near Shandor

Shandor smiles at being at the place he now considers 'home'

Vaedron rides along with the group.

Dynello Peers into the woods

Vaedron looks around the woods.

Varadrion smiles to himself, but hides it quickly

Dytalorien withdraws his flute, twirling in about merrily.

Tasselhof nervously adjusts his knives

Vaedron says to Shandor, "So where are we headed?"

Shandor says, 'The City of Elves.... if I can remember how to find it...'

Varadrion asks "How far are we from this city?"

Isondil looks around the leafy glade and smiles

Shandor shrugs.

Vaedron grumbles, "He is our leader and he doesn’t remember how to get there."

[Narrator] Out of the trees come ten well-clad Elves. One stepped forward.

Shandor recognises the elf, 'Faelnon? It is you! Great to see you…., oh, these are my associates in the hunt for the Gifts, associates, meet Faelnon.'

Jenn laughs softly

[Narrator] Faelnon nods, 'Ah yes, the Gifts, I trust all is going well so far?'

Tasselhof says "Hi"

Vaedron halts his horse and looks at the elves.

Dytalorien smiles at the sight of fellow elves.

Shandor nods slightly, 'Things are okay, but -' A creature mews and leaps onto Shandor's shoulder. Shandor is unphased and lifts the cat, Sparkle (named for his sparkling eyes that seem to hide great intelligence) and strokes his soft fur.

Jenn looks apprehensive at the sight of the elves

[Narrator] Faelnon says, 'Follow us, a great feast has been planned in honour of your Becoming, somehow we knew you'd show up here.'

Isondil looks at the elves and nods to them

Shandor smiles and follows the elf, 'Come along the rest of you.'

Vaedron looks around puzzled

Varadrion asks slowly "Becoming?"

Tasselhof follows

Shandor continues walking as a wolf-like creature leaps from the forest, it trots along side Shandor, 'Hello Lestat.' Shandor said to the wolf.

Vaedron follows

Jenn follows behind

Dytalorien shrugs and follows behind the rest at a elegant canter.

Shandor says, 'I must be home, I'm surrounded by animals.'

Varadrion follows last

Isondil follows slowly still looking around the wood

Shandor smirks as both Lestat and Sparkle complain at that.

Tasselhof pets the Jayle

Vaedron stares cautiously at the Jayle.

Shandor says to Tas, 'Lestat the Jayle likes most people.'

Jenn looks with interest at the Jayle but lags behind

Varadrion keeps looking into the woods, almost like he is in another world

Arathus silently stares from behind a tree unnoticed by anyone

Shandor walks forward to catch up with Faelnon and begins chatting quietly.

Vaedron gazes around the forest as he follows the group.

Tasselhof skips along

Isondil stares at the animal and smiles

Tasselhof says "The suns going down"

Arathus stealthily makes his way along behind the group

Jenn walks side by side with Vaedron, "Are you going to teach me anytime soon?"

Shandor looks up, 'I'm surprised anyone can see it with this forest.'

Vaedron rubs his stomach, "Can we eat first Jenn?"

Varadrion thinks he hears a noise, but figures its nothing

Shandor says, 'Teach what pray tell?'

Jenn laughs softly, "Always thinking about food first."

Dynello walks slowly near the back of the group, trying to take it all in

Vaedron says, "Food always comes first."

Varadrion says to Vaedron "You're falling behind, she’s already gotten a book from me, you've taught nothing" and smiles

Jenn looks at Shandor, "The nice weather spell."

Isondil looks around slowly thinking to himself

Shandor nods.

Dytalorien taps his flute against the side of his head, gazing about.

Vaedron grumbles and continues to follow along.

Jenn smiles at Varadrion, "But the book has no spells about weather..."

Varadrion smiles back "but there are some good things in there"

[Narrator] The Elves lead the group to a grand city in the forest. Long, wide, sweeping stairs head up to a platform, supported by a series of wooden pillars. Atop the platform was a canvass that covers three sides of the square-ish platform.

[Narrator] On the platform was a string of elegant oak tables with a row of chairs facing outwards. Most chairs were similar, save two which had larger backs and different, and more complex, patterns carved into them and colored gold.

[Narrator] Around the platform were dozens of rings of stone with blazing fires. Around each of these fires were six tables, each with a soothing candle in the centre of each one.

[Narrator] Most tables were empty, but some elves were talking softly at a few tables. The elves were elegantly dressed in varying colors and textures.

[Narrator] Large tree branches were draped in silk with the colors and patterns of Shandor's family.

Dytalorien gazes about in mute awe.

Jenn looks in awe at the magnificent sight

Vaedron gazes up at the fair city.

Dynello looks down at his dusty black-grey robes and feels insignificant

Tasselhof says "What magnificent things" moving towards them

Vaedron 's chin drops at the sight

Varadrion looks at all the colours and suddenly feels very left out in his black apparel

Isondil looks at the city and gazes in awe and says 'if possible the city has become even more beautiful than when I last saw it'

Arathus comes out from behind the trees and introduces himself to the group "I am Arathus, a member of the Ranger Order"

Dynello bows to Arathus

Shandor nods to Arathus, but is wrapped up in what has been done for him.

Varadrion draws a dagger and turns to the new ranger, but quickly sheathes it again

Dytalorien inclines his head to Arathus.

Tasselhof says distractedly "Hi."

Vaedron nods to Arathus.

[Narrator] Faelnon says something to Shandor.

Shandor nods and says, 'I have to change into robes for the feast, apparently.'

Isondil ignores the ranger and continues staring at the city

Jenn smiles

Shandor disappears up a set of grand stairs into several trees, each with several platforms around it. Sparkle the cat and Lestat the Jayle scampers over to the platform, going up the stairs, Lestat stands 'guard' at one of the chairs as Sparkle disappeared under a table.

Varadrion looks around, and suddenly looks very solemn

Dytalorien shrugs and mumbles, "Could've given us directions at the least. Where are we suppose to go?"

Vaedron says, "I really can't wait to get something to eat."

Tasselhof begins spinning a knife on his finger

Jenn looks down at her clothes, "Don’t you all feel drab, or is it just me?"

Dytalorien mutters and slides down from his mount, striding forwards, his cloak bellowing behind him.

Shandor comes back down the stairs in a dark blue robe with a flowing emerald cloak behind him.

Dynello clears his throat quietly..."I'm Dynello. I sort of followed you all here. I have no place to go...I hope you don't mind my company. I won't intrude...

Isondil smiles at Jenn

Varadrion says "I do, but it is not my style to call attention to myself"

Shandor notices Dynello, 'Hail, we could use some company.'

Dytalorien mutters and shouts, "There you are, that was quick."

Varadrion nods to Dynello and says "Hello"

Jenn says, "Hello."

Vaedron nods to Dynello, "I'm Vaedron."

Shandor nods towards Dytalorien, 'They had it set up apparently..'

Isondil looks slowly at the newcomer

Shandor mutters something about Elves and partying...

Tasselhof says cheerfully "Hello"

Dytalorien blinks at the newcomer and waves absently.

Dynello is a bit overwhelmed by so much attention at once.

Dytalorien frowns at Shandor's comment.

Jenn giggles slightly

Vaedron sighs and states, "I wish these elves would hurry up."

Varadrion looks uncomfortable

Shandor looks about as the tables begin to fill up with elves.

Shandor says to Vaedron, 'Really, would just a tiny amount of patience hurt, it is after all a feast.'

Dytalorien unclasps his cloak, and neatly folds it up, replacing it within his pack.

Tasselhof loosens his knives in apprehension

Vaedron grumbles to himself in elven.

Isondil looks at a few elves and nods slowly

Tasselhof sits down

Shandor points to the tables that are raised above the ground, 'We are up there.'

Dynello mutters something quietly to himself.

Varadrion looks around at all the elves, and pulls his cloak over his face

Dytalorien gazes about at the various faces.

Arathus sits away from the rest of the group

Shandor turns to the group, 'Come along now.'

Dynello follows Varadrion's example and pulls his hood over his slightly pointed ears.

Tasselhof stands up, and starts heading to the other table

Jenn glides over to Varadrion and mutters something

Shandor walks towards one of the steps leading up.

Vaedron walks up to where Shandor had pointed and sits down at one of the tables.

Isondil smiles at an elf before following Shandor

Dytalorien follows behind, his face blank.

Tasselhof sits at the groups table

Shandor climbs the steps and stands before his grand, emerald and blue, seat.

[Narrator] As the group ascend to the tables, cheers and hollers go up amongst the Elves.

Dynello follows meekly behind Dytalorien, trying not to be obtrusive.

Vaedron looks impatient as he waits sitting down at the table

Shandor , noting the surprising behaviour of the elves, explains to the group, 'The elves know about our quest. In fact it was Faelnon and another elf that discovered the scrolls that told us of the Gifts. They are praising us for the work we have done already and the work we are yet to do.'

Varadrion mutters something back to Jenn

Tasselhof twirls his knife

Dytalorien arches an eyebrow, "How've they been keeping up with our progress?"

Jenn smiles, nods

Shandor sits down.

Vaedron mutters, "Hero's already eh?"

Isondil takes his seat slowly beside Tasselhof and nods to him

Shandor looks at Dytalorien, 'I've sent messages.'

Arathus stays hidden within the masses of cheering elves

Varadrion says quietly "Too much attention"

Dytalorien nods absently and seats himself.

Dynello mumbles quietly, 'I'm no hero...'

Jenn pats Varadrion's arm and sits down

Tasselhof says to Isondil "Did I ever tell you about the time I...."

Shandor is instantly comfortable in the seat, nearly like it was designed for him or at least blessed with magic.

Varadrion sits beside Jenn and lowers his hood

Vaedron brushes a few stray hairs away from his face.

Tasselhof carries on about a story of a green dragon

Isondil looks interestedly at Tasselhof

Vaedron listens with interest to Tasselhof's story.

Shandor pulls the hood from Varadrion revealing his face, 'This is a feast, you don't go hiding your face.'

Dynello pulls his gloves tighter around his long slender fingers.

Varadrion turns to Shandor and says "Forgive me... memories..."

Shandor tries scratching through a pair of elegant gloves he was forced to don.

Vaedron looks around impatiently waiting for some type of signal to start eating.

Dytalorien absently parts stray strands of hair from his face.

[Narrator] Great explosions fill the sky as fireworks blanket the entire forest.

[Narrator] Giant golden birds fly overhead piping a joyful tune.

[Narrator] A choir of Jayles (very intelligent wolf-like creatures) howl.

Shandor blinks in surprise.

Dynello nearly jumped out of his chair at the first sound.

Varadrion looks around in a mix of fear and awe

Dytalorien looks up at the heavens and watches intently.

Tasselhof says in awe "Wow. This will be a great story"

Dynello sits trembling in his chair.

Jenn laughs and claps

Vaedron is startled by the fireworks but quickly looks up and gazes at them.

Arathus looks in awe and mutters to himself "These adventurers must have done something truly great"

Isondil looks up and smiles and mutters 'feels like home'

Shandor applauds the fireworks as the elves below do the same.

Jenn whispers something to Varadrion

Vaedron says quietly, "All this for us?"

Dynello stutters "I-I...I don't belong here..."

Dytalorien looks about, surveying the scene of happy applause.

Varadrion whispers something back

Tasselhof says to Dynello "What’s wrong?"

Shandor says, 'An elf's Becoming, or one-hundredth birthday is cause for great celebration. I turned one-hundred a week ago. Add the quest we are on to that and we have due cause for a great feast.'

Jenn smiles, then turns to Dynello, "Just relax stranger, you're with friends."

Arathus walks up the stairs to where the adventurers were

Dynello says meekly "What did w..What did YOU do to deserve such honour?"

Shandor says to Dynello, 'Fear not, feasts are for everyone.'

Dytalorien chuckles, "Is that it."

Arathus says "That’s what I would like to know"

Jenn laughs at Shandor's words, "I remember your birthday Shandor, you were knocked out cold"

Vaedron looks to Dynello and grumbles something about him being too uptight.

Shandor says to Dytalorien, 'Nay, that is just the beginning.'

Tasselhof says "I ran from Orcs!"

Shandor chuckles softly at Jenn, 'Indeed I was.'

Tasselhof says "and Shandor helped"

Dytalorien grins, "That wasn't a question."

Varadrion chuckles and jokes "Shandor, out cold? Sorry I missed it"

Shandor says, ''Helped' Tell that to the elves, I may have..... influenced the messages a little...'

Shandor smirks.

Vaedron smirks at Varadrion, "You wouldn’t be if you saw those serpents."

Jenn smiles and shakes her head

Dytalorien rolls his eyes, and leans back within his chair.

Shandor nods, 'Indeed, the first was bad enough, never mind the other ten or so.'

Varadrion laughs "but I didn't see them, so I will laugh if I may"

Arathus smiles and says " Well, it seems you HAVE done quite a bit"

Vaedron shakes his head and smirks.

Jenn shudders, "Nasty things, those sea serpents.."

Shandor says, 'Everyone hush up,' He notes a small halfling pointing to the sky, he must have been the firework maker.

[Narrator] Magic shoots through the sky, spelling out first Shandor's name and a blessing on his Becoming, then the names of each of the group.

Dynello focuses all his attention on an unremarkable piece of silver on the tabletop.

[Narrator] Images fashion themselves next to the names, each one looking like the person who's name is next to it.

Tasselhof says "Hey, look at me!"

Jenn giggles, "Dytalorien, yours has a crooked nose."

Dytalorien smirks.

Vaedron chuckles at the fireworks.

Dynello stares numbly up at the sky

Varadrion looks down, un-used to such glamour

[Narrator] At that moment flocks of serving elves, each in matching elegant uniforms, arrive at the top of the stairs and begin serving food.

Shandor applauds the fireworks.

Varadrion applauds politely

Tasselhof whistles

Vaedron applauds the food and says, "Finally!"

Shandor thanks the elf who had just placed a delicious looking meal in front of him.

Jenn chuckles

Varadrion chuckles at his old friend Vaedron, who hasn't changed a bit

Dytalorien gazes about at the heaps of food, and contemplates which to eat first.

Vaedron calls over several servants to begins serving him food.

Shandor turns round as a hand brushes his hair, it is Ariea.

Tasselhof says as he looks at his plate "Yum"

Arathus still stands next to the table and watches as the adventurers talk

Vaedron begins eating in his old animal like way.

Varadrion takes a small amount of food and slowly begins eating

Dynello chases a few items of food around his plate with the same piece of silver.

Tasselhof glances at Ariea

Shandor smiles and kisses Ariea softly. She smiles but tells him she must go and talk to her cousin, whom she hasn't seen in years.

Dytalorien grabs various bits of food and munches absently whilst glancing about.

Vaedron mumbles something to Varadrion but is inaudible due to the food packed in his mouth.

Arathus says "If you don't mind my asking, what role might all of you play in this quest?"

Varadrion chuckles again

Shandor begins eating politely, suddenly conscious of a lot of elves looking at him.'

Shandor turns to Arathus, 'I play the leader... well, I'm meant too.'

Vaedron pays no attention to the groups of elves watching them.

Dynello says so quietly only those near him can hear, "I was a dragoon once..."

Tasselhof says seriously "Who was the Elf-maiden?"

Dytalorien sips at a clear amber liquid, listening to the ongoing conversations about him.

Varadrion suddenly notices all the elves staring, and lowers his head

Vaedron sits back in his chair and sips his ale.

Shandor looks at Dynello in surprise, 'A dragon?' He smiles and adds, 'Good hearing.'

Arathus replies to Shandor "O? Meant too? What does that mean, u seem to be succesful at what you are doing"

Shandor turns to Tasselhof, 'That was Ariea, my wife.'

Jenn notices Varadrion and whispers again in his ear

Tasselhof chokes

Jenn chokes , likewise

Dytalorien chuckles, "He is one hundred, of course he's married."

Tasselhof says "But she's so pretty, and your, well, er"

Jenn nods and waves absent-mindedly, elf age."

Shandor grits his teeth at Tasselhof, but does not comment.

Shandor says, 'Actually, we are going to be married soon.'

Tasselhof slaps Shandor on the back

Tasselhof says "Congradulations!"

Vaedron overhears what Shandor has just said and raises his glass to him.

Shandor nods, 'Thank you.'

Shandor blushes.

Jenn smiles, "Congratulations Shandor."

Dynello glances around the table, then back at his uneaten food.

Dytalorien chuckles.

Tasselhof says "But if you are getting married, are you still coming with us?"

Varadrion raises his glass as well

Vaedron goes back to eating.

Shandor says, 'But of course Tasselhof, where would the group be without my 'meant-to-be' leading?'

Varadrion chuckles and says quietly, hoping Shandor will not hear "Somewhere with less bruises"

Shandor smiles.

Isondil looks up at Shandor to see his response

Tasselhof says "Whew"

Dytalorien grins, "If he's wise he'll wait 'till after the quest to marry."

Dynello starts to eat slowly.

Shandor says, 'Ah, but as you should know Dytalorien, I am not wise.'

Dytalorien shrugs, "Then you'll have an unhappy wife.."

Varadrion chuckles again

Jenn says wryly, "This we know..."

Dytalorien grins.

Shandor grins as he spots Ariea down next to a ginger-haired female elf, deep in conversation.

Varadrion suddenly remembers Arathus' question and replies "I am here because this is the only place I belong"

Dynello continues quietly, "Dragoon...dragon knight of Valmiera...I'm not anymore..."

Vaedron says to Varadrion, "Good food isn't it."

Varadrion looks at Vaedron "Excellent"

Varadrion whispers back to Jenn again

Jenn laughs, then punches Varadrion's arm jestingly and whispers back

Vaedron sits back in his chair and looks at the remaining food left and says, "I am finished."

Isondil smiles

Jenn looks at Vaedron startled, "What? you're not eating a seventh helping?"

Shandor says, 'I could take her with me, she wanted to when we began, but I convinced her not to, I doubt I shall be able to do the same once we are married.'

Dynello notes, "A wise person once said, 'There is no adventure without the adventurous...and no glory for the lonesome...'"

Isondil gets up slowly and walks back down towards an elf and begins talking to him

Vaedron smirks at Jenn.

Shandor looks at Dynello, 'Very true.'

Dytalorien shrugs and goes back to drinking.

Vaedron sips ale and sits back in his chair.

Dynello asks, "Is there any white wine...?"

Shandor takes a golden goblet of the finest elven wine and takes a sip.

Shandor looks at it and says, 'Rather sweet after Dwarven ale

Dytalorien yawns and pushes back his chair, standing up and walking about, mingling.

Arathus finally sits down at an open seat and takes a mug of ale

Tasselhof slugs back a mug of ale

Dynello smiles slightly to himself.

Isondil looks up across the table and sees an elven-maid and smiles at her

Dytalorien converses with various elves, idly.

Vaedron sighs and then yawns.

Tasselhof downs three glasses before servers no longer give him ale

Dynello leans across the table and whispers to Jenn.

Shandor turns to Dynello, 'You wished for white wine?'

Lesharn gets a flute from his bard satchel and starts to play.

Dynello answers, "That would indeed be a welcome sight..."

Dytalorien smiles as he hears the familiar tunes of Lesharn's flute.

Shandor turns to a waitress and whispers something to her. In a moment she is back with a goblet of white wine for Dynello

Jenn nods and whispers back

Varadrion listens to the music and leans back in his chair

Vaedron listens to Lesharn’s tune.

Shandor smiles, 'There you go.'

Dynello s smile broadens.

Isondil looks at the elf again before gesturing her to come over and talk to him

Dynello bows his head to Shandor.

Shandor smiles and listens to Lesharn's tune merrily.

Arathus sits back listening to the beautiful music coming from the flute but remains silent

Vaedron rubs his eyes and then yawns, "All this food and good music is going to put me to sleep."

Lesharn dips his head low as he starts to play more intensively.

Dytalorien strolls about restlessly, waving and smiling to the passing faces.

Tasselhof gets up and starts dancing

Dynello says meekly, "If you'll all excuse me, I shall return shortly."

Shandor smiles, 'Be careful Vaedron that you don't fall of this platform.'

Jenn stands up and grabs Vaedron's arms, "Nonsense, dance."

Vaedron reluctantly gets up and dances with Jenn.

Arathus thinks to himself "Well they are a rather rowdy bunch"

Tasselhof dances in circles with an Elf-maiden

Dynello walks back to where he left his pack and pulls a small object out of it, and then another.

Jenn winks at Vaedron, "Are you stepping on my foot on purpose?"

Dytalorien smiles fondly at the sight of dancing couples, and pulls out a chair, seating himself watching amusedly.

Lesharn pauses for a brief moment and spins his flute through the air catching it behind his back.

Lesharn resumes playing a new melody.

[Narrator] Five heavily robed figures appear from either stairs. One stops directly in front of Shandor.

Varadrion watches all the dancing and music playing, but remains seated

Dynello returns with a small lute and a bowstring.

Tasselhof glances over

Isondil winks at Varadrion and is led away by the elf

Dynello starts to play a harmony to the flute.

Varadrion watches the figures, and moves a hand to his waist

Vaedron watches the figures with interest while he dances with Jenn.

Tasselhof starts a halfling circle dance

[Narrator] The figure takes a short, golden, blade and hands it to Shandor 'With this you have Become. May your journeys be bright and successful.'

Shandor bows in deep respect.

[Narrator] The figure says a blessing as Shandor is bowed.

Dytalorien watches the scene with rapt interest.

Jenn looks with interest while dancing

Vaedron stops dancing with Jenn and says, "That is enough for tonight, I am tired."

[Narrator] With the blessing the figure puts a small gem in Shandor's hand.

Shandor bows again.

Vaedron turns to the table and sits down and sips from a mug of ale.

Jenn smiles and mutters something to Vaedron

Lesharn blows his flute into a fanfare.

[Narrator] The figure bows and goes back down the stairs with the others.

Vaedron watches Shandor be showered with blessings.

Tasselhof hops over to Lesharn and says "Come on! I have a Circle Dance going on!"

Arathus watches as the cloaked elves depart down the stairs

Varadrion watches everything, quietly taking it in

Lesharn tosses his flute aside and joins Tasselhof in a Circle Dance.

[Narrator] The place erupts in music and song, Jayles howling a beautiful tunes, giant golden birds doing the same. Elven choirs singing. Lyres playing, flutes and other instruments as well.

Tasselhof is lead away by an Elf-maiden"

Lesharn whispers, 'Who were those robed figures?'

Vaedron sighs and continues to sip his ale.

[Narrator] Magic is used to clear the tables down below away, clearing a giant dancing area.

Dytalorien smiles and withdraws his flute, twirling it in one hand before placing it beneath his lips, replacing Lesharn's absent flute.

Tasselhof says "I'm not sure" as he dances

Lesharn hops on one foot in one moment and on one hand in the next.

Varadrion notices Jenn dancing all by herself, and smiles at her

Arathus takes out his pipe and starts puffing away

Shandor grins, deciding to be a show off. He jumps on the table on the platform and leaps off, flipping through the air. A quick spell slows his decent and he lands gracefully.

Dytalorien struggles, ungainly, to accustom himself to playing the lively music.

Tasselhof pulls Jenn into the Circle Dance

Varadrion removes his cloak, walks up to Jenn, and begins dancing with her

Lesharn congratulates Shandor.

Shandor calls up for the others to come down, if they haven't done so already, and dance.

Shandor thanks Lesharn.

Vaedron smirks at everyone dancing.

Jenn giggles and dances in the Circle dance while being twirled around by Varadrion

Lesharn jumps into a series of back flips.

Dytalorien manages to grin, though his is deeply engrossed with playing the complicated tunes.

Vaedron looks amazed at Lesharn

Tasselhof follows Lesharn's lead

Varadrion chuckles at his own poor dancing

Jenn shouts a praise to Lesharn’s tricks

Shandor takes Ariea's hand and begins dancing with her.

Vaedron applauds quietly to the show.

Lesharn lands on the counter and waves to the bartender for some drinks.

Dynello gives a fair attempt at weaving a harmony around the flute's melody.

Tasselhof spins by Shandor and Ariea

Kamrock watches the merriments.

Lesharn jumps from the counter with a small wooden barrel raised above his head.

Varadrion continues dancing with Jenn in the circle

Lesharn jumps on top of the barrel and starts a wild balancing act.

Shandor finishes one dance with a kiss and begins dancing again to the next tune.

Arathus pulls Dynello aside "I would like to hear more of your experience as a dragoon"

Tasselhof claps as the music grows faster

Isondil walks back in and takes the elf by the hand and begins dancing with her

Shandor notices Lesharn, as does Ariea, they both smile and applaud.

Varadrion looks towards Vaedron and tosses something at him, without his noticing

Dynello is a bit startled. "Well...erm..."

Shandor watches for the inevitable collapse.

Lesharn slides off the barrel panting.

Dytalorien sways with the playing music, following the melody laid out by the elves.

Vaedron looks around startled by being hit with something.

Dynello repeats meekly, "Like I said...I was a dragoon for the Valmiera Dragon Knights..."

Jenn laughs and dances even faster around the circle with Varadrion

Vaedron grumbles and searches the floor.

Varadrion chuckles at Vaedron but quickly spins away with Jenn

Arathus replies "Yes, but what happend?"

Kamrock laughs loudly.

Isondil smiles at Vaedron and winks

Shandor finishes a third dance with Ariea.

Dynello assumes a blank stare, "I was discharged from my services a year past..."

Tasselhof dances with another Elfmaiden even faster

Dytalorien competes with elven players, struggling to guide them away from their complicated piece.

Lesharn claps his hands at the beautiful couples dancing.

Shandor grabs a goblet of wine that was nearby, he mutters, 'I wish I could have had some dwarven ale..'

Jenn laughs and shouts over to Dytalorien, "Faster Lorien! Faster!"

Arathus stares with curiosity and says "You may stop here, but I would like to know what happened if it wasn't o much trouble"

Vaedron pulls out his flask and offers it to Shandor, "Its dwarven ale."

Dytalorien grunts into his flute causing a shrill screech to emanate throughout the chamber.

Shandor is suddenly bitten gently by Lestat, complaining at the lack of attention he is recieving.

Dynello stares icily at Arathus for a moment...and then it passes. "An error in judgement...'tis all it was..."

Dytalorien lowers his flute and scratches his head, "Oops, sorry about that."

Shandor nods in thanks to Vaedron and accepts the flask. He takes a swig and passes it back.

Jenn giggles then grabs Dytalorien and shoves him into the Dancing Circle

Isondil bows to the elf and kisses her hand and leads he over to sit beside him

Arathus replies with a strange tone "Interesting, you may go about your business now" and he puts his pipe back in

Dytalorien rolls his eyes and twirls around, regaining his previous position and raises his flute, continuing to play.

Vaedron takes his flask back and conceals it in his cloak.

Dynello walks a ways away from the dancing and music and stares out into the forest.

Kamrock takes out his battered pipe, and lights it.

Shandor strokes Lestat’s soft fur as Goldie, Ariea's Jayle, (with a name Shandor still dislikes) trots up to Lestat, soon the two have run off.

Isondil starts talking to the elf and laughing loudly with her

Lesharn takes a stride across the dance floor and slips upon a puddle of wine.

Shandor kisses Ariea again before he moves of to begin singing with a group of singers (comprised of Faelnon, Filae and a few others)

Vaedron gets up and stretches his stiff limbs.

Arathus sits back in deep thought

Lesharn blushes and tries to continue his walk as normal.

Dytalorien cringes as Lesharn tumbles to the floor.

Kamrock blows smoke rings at Shandor and Ariea.

Shandor makes sure Ariea has something to do, but the moment he leaves her she picks up Sparkle the Cat and moves over to talk with some others.

Lesharn mutters something under his breathe.

Dynello unstraps his Javelin from his back and walks a ways further into the woods...just on the edge.

Shandor has a light and gentle voice which fits perfectly with the tune being played by the instruments.

Dynello practices quietly...clearing his mind.

Vaedron becomes a little unstable due to all the ale he has drunk and has to steady himself by holding onto a chair.

Isondil smiles at the elf again and leads her up to dance again

Dytalorien furrows his brows, concentrating on playing flawlessly.

Kamrock blows a smaller smoke ring, and laughs as it floats through another one.

Arathus gets up and goes by Dynello, careful not to interrupt his train of thought

Tasselhof takes Ariea's hand and leads her into the Circle

Shandor smirks as Ariea refuses politely. Sparkle mews at Tasselhof, seemingly saying 'no' as well.

Dynello runs through patterns and forms with fluid movements from years of practice.

Shandor begins tapping his foot in-line with the rising tempo of the song.

Tasselhof still cheerful, tries a different Elven female.

Varadrion releases his grip on Jenn and says "Go find some young elf" and smiles

Isondil smiles at Tasselhof and says 'I think she’s taken'

Arathus watches at Dynello's great grace and technique with his Javelin

[Narrator] Fireworks begin erupting in the sky, again.

Jenn winks and whispers something in his ears

Dytalorien lowers his flute, panting heavily, and mumbles about elven players and their skill.

Vaedron cheers at the sight of the fireworks.

Dynello pays the fireworks no mention and continues running through forms and patterns.

Varadrion leaves the circle and pulls out a few daggers and begins juggling them slowly

Kamrock smiles at the fireworks, 'Very fine indeed, but Dwarven fireworks would be more fitting.'

Lesharn covers his eyes from the bright light.

Dytalorien wipes sweat from his brow before replacing his flute within his belongings.

Varadrion stop juggling and decides to join Jenn and dance again

Shandor points to a group of halflings and dwarves holding a stock of fireworks and smirks at Kamrock.

Isondil stops dancing at looks at the fireworks talking to the elf still

Varadrion is slowly learning to dance from watching Jenn

Isondil looks around and winks at Jenn

Kamrock laughs, 'Hmm, well hurry and get the good ones out.'

Tasselhof starts dancing with one of the female hafling fire-workers

Dynello ceases his practicing...Javelin held low in his right hand.

Jenn laughs while being spun dizzily by Varadrion

Shandor stops singing and runs over to Ariea. He and her quickly claim a seat as-

[Narrator] A group of dressed up elves fill a part of the dance-area.

Dynello notes to Arathus, "Methinks we are missing the party."

Vaedron begins to dance with random elf maids.

Varadrion stumbles a bit dizzily and falls over, crashing to the floor

Arathus replies "I never was much of a party man, sort of a loner"

Varadrion laughs and smiles as he lay face up on the floor

Kamrock laughs madly at Varadrion

Dytalorien blinks.

Isondil walks away again being lead by the elf and smiling at the group

[Narrator] They begin by casting waves of magic around Ariea and Shandor.

Jenn giggles then pulls Varadrion back up

Lesharn asks, 'Is this normal?'

Dynello slowly makes his way back to the group of dancers, Slinging his Javelin over his shoulder.

Kamrock smiles and watches the elves.

Dytalorien chuckles, "Let's hope so."

[Narrator] They then proceed but acting and performing acrobatics.

Vaedron smirks.

Shandor explains, 'They are performing a tale of the first Elf's Becoming.'

Dynello smirks and mutters something in Elven.

Lesharn says, 'They sure know their acrobatics...'

Varadrion stands up beside Jenn and watches the act

Isondil stops and looks at Shandor and Ariea smiling broadly

Arathus Stays near the forest and watches as he sees the creatures of the night roam it

[Narrator] The elves continue in a majestic, brilliant and grand display.

Tasselhof begins to try to match the elves, but falls on his head

Vaedron gazes at the elves in amazement.

Dynello laughs, for once.

Lesharn stands dumbstruck in awe.

Dytalorien grins and watches the performing elves.

Shandor applauds as-

Dynello says in Elven, <And the stars winked at the lovers first dance. In the last light of the moon.>

[Narrator] Two of the elves flip forward, straight at three other elves who leap into the air, grab quarterstaffs from three other elves and use the quarterstaffs to hit the ground and propel themselves into the air a second time.

Lesharn whistles in appreciation.

Tasselhof silently wonders how there could still be no danger today...not even a drunk to fight

Dytalorien smiles.

Vaedron applauds the elves.

Varadrion smiles at the skill of these acrobats

Jenn applauds, grinning broadly

Kamrock laughs and says in Elven with a Dwarven accent, 'Shandor, great dances, these are good shows for party, I'm happy, and Congratulations,'

Isondil looks around at the elves and his heart is filled with joy

Vaedron says quietly to himself, "What a party."

Dynello says also in Elven <Kamrock, you're either too drunk, or have need to work on your Elven.>

Dynello smirks

[Narrator] The elves now use the quarterstaffs to create a triangle (if one were looking down at it) Three elves climb on it and lock wrists. Suddenly the quarterstaff holdings shove upwards and flip the elves through the air.

Shandor 'wow's in appreciation.

Dytalorien blinks.

Arathus looks back at the display and can't help but grin at the majestic performances put on by the elves

Lesharn gulps.

Dynello lowers his Javelin to the crook of his arm and claps.

Vaedron continues to applaud and smile at the elven acrobats.

Varadrion for once, looks impressed

Kamrock looks at Dynello and says in common again, 'I am a Dwarf, and have only learnt Elven from listen to my subjects.'

Isondil applauds loudly but is slowly being lead away by the elf

Dynello smiles at Kamrock, "I implore you, it's really quite good."

[Narrator] As the elves come back towards the ground, head first, they put their arms forward, each one landing on their respective elves' shoulders. They then flip down, flipping the other elf up and continue doing this for a few moments.

Shandor applauds louder than ever before.

Jenn stares

Vaedron cheers and whistles.

Arathus stands up and claps as he pears from afar

Dytalorien claps whilst watching the display.

Dynello states, "a Feast, Acrobats, a dance, the only thing left is a sparring match." Winks at Arathus.

Kamrock grins, 'Sparring, yes, I'll save my old bones and miss it, I could easily beat you anyway.'

Isondil finally yields to the elf and is led away not before giving a last loud cheer

[Narrator] The elves look at the happy couple and exchange a smirk. Before Shandor or Ariea can move they are hoisted into the air. Elves seem to almost fly around them, flipping and rolling.

Dytalorien blinks.

Lesharn screams in delight and joy.

Arathus smirks and replies "Now your talking my language"

Shandor is too surprised to applaud.

Vaedron chuckles.

Dytalorien remarks, "Hope they aren't dropped."

[Narrator] More acrobats appear and select 'random' people to perform. Strangely all of them come from the group.

Arathus replies to Kamrock "Don't be to sure about that"

Dynello yells to the group, "What do you think, an exhibition, the first one on the ground loses?"

Tasselhof quickly engages Kamrock in a drinking match

Dynello beckons Arathus to come.

Shandor looks around and chuckles as several people are hoisted into the air.

Arathus walks over to Dynello

Jenn murmurs something to Varadrion about escaping before they're hoisted up

Dynello pats Arathus on the back.

Lesharn flies through the air in an arch.

Dytalorien blinks and prays silently that he isn't dropped.

Kamrock laughs at Arathus, 'Too many times have I battled, A Lord and a Captain must do.'

Vaedron looks around nervously hoping not to be picked

Dytalorien screams loudly, "Is this a good time to mention that I'm not fond of great heights!"

Jenn giggles at the sight of Dytalorien in the air

Dynello laughs good naturedly and cheers Dytalorien on.

Lesharn cackles in insane glee, 'Dytalorien, you'll learn to appreciate it'

Tasselhof shouts in delight as he is hoisted up

[Narrator] The acrobats smirk and tip Shandor backwards, letting him fall, only to be saved by his quick thinking (and flipping), Ariea on the other hand is let down gently, she thanks the gentlemanly elves and crosses to a dazed Shandor.

Shandor roars with laughter at Dytalorien, even though he was in the same trouble just a moment earlier.

Dytalorien screams to be let down.

Vaedron laughs loudly.

Jenn laughs

Arathus chuckles at his screams

[Narrator] They elves shrug, grinning from cheek to cheek. They simply let go of Dytalorien

Dynello smirks and pushes a lock of silver hair behind one of his ears.

Dytalorien lets out a shout as he crashes ungainly to the floor.

Lesharn raises his voice, 'I propose a toast to Shandor and Ariea...'

Vaedron begins laughing so hard he has to grasp a chair to keep from falling over

Dynello raises his javelin, "Here, here!"

Kamrock laughs at Dytalorien, 'You've survived worse

Jenn looks to Dytalorien alarmed, "Isn't he hurt?"

Dytalorien curses loudly as he struggles to his feet.

Shandor looks at Lesharn and smiles, grabbing a goblet of wine.

Jenn blinks

Vaedron raises his mug.

Arathus Raises his sword

Lesharn raises his flagon and shouts, 'To Shandor and Ariea, may they always soar...'

Shandor bows in gratitude.

Tasselhof toasts from the arms of the elves

Dytalorien mutters to himself before grabbing a nearby glass of unknown liquid and raising it.

Vaedron cheers and raises his glass higher.

Dynello shouts in Elven, <Thank the stars above, may you be happy.>

Shandor smiles at Dynello.

Jenn toasts also

Vaedron downs another ale quickly.

Tasselhof says in Elven <I wish I knew Elven>

Shandor takes a sip of wine.

Dynello laughs

Dytalorien raises an eyebrow at Tasselhof.

Shandor laughs at what Tasselhof just said.

Dynello bursts into tired laughter.

Kamrock drinks the wine, 'Hmm, very hearty, I must say.'

Arathus says aloud "Now what about that sparring?!"

Dynello smirks, "Yes, yes, I agree, I'm getting restless."

Kamrock grins, 'Who is first up?'

Shandor notices the singers are regrouping. He waves them of for a moment.

Dytalorien rolls his eyes.

Dynello says, "Me and Arathus."

Dynello smirks

Shandor nods, 'Aye, a good game!'

Arathus replies "Yes, Yes"

Tasselhof follows the three sparrers

Dytalorien backs away from the would-be sparrers.

Jenn smiles and steps ahead, "I'll spar next, if anyone is game."

Dynello pulls off his cloak and mantle.

Shandor chuckles and wonders what it would be like if the acrobats got involved.

Vaedron chuckles at the sparing.

Tasselhof says "How do you spar?"

Dynello bows to Arathus

Arathus bows back to Dynello

Vaedron watches with interest.

Dynello asks, "What conditions shall we set?"

Kamrock looks at Jenn, 'Hmm, maybe, I'd not like it at all to hurt anyone, seriously.'

Shandor turns to Tasselhof, 'You are about to find out.'

Dytalorien replies to Tasselhof, "Watch and see."

Dytalorien chuckles.

Jenn winks at Kamrock, "We'll see."

Arathus replies with "I have fought under many different conditions, it is up to you"

Kamrock stands, 'I say we fight by the Local Spar rules?'

Dynello says, "Alright, first one off the dancing floor, loses."

Tasselhof says "Then I will win!"

Arathus smirks and says "Ok then"

Lesharn says, 'So this is a dancing competition then?'

Dynello notes, "And don't hit me too hard, I'm out of practice."

Dynello smirks at Arathus

Kamrock laughs at Lesharn.

Dytalorien shouts to the gathered crowd, "Let's move back and give them room!"

Dytalorien chuckles to Lesharn, "I wish."

Arathus replies with "I’ll try my hardest"

Lesharn says, 'A dancing dwarf! I want a seat.'

Dynello salutes with his Javelin to Arathus.

Tasselhof wrestles Vaedron playfully to the ground

Arathus says "Don't be too cocky Vaedron"

Dynello shouts, "Alright, lets go!."

Jenn says to Vaedron, "if you're so sure, spar me."

Arathus smirks and says "We do have an ex-dragoon here"

Vaedron tries to get Tas off of his back but he seems to be just out of reach

Dynello grins, darting at Arathus with no warning.

Arathus quickly jumps out of the way

Dynello twirls and tries to catch him with the backspin on the butt of his Javelin.

Vaedron chuckles and tries to get to his feet.

Lesharn says, 'Yipes, don’t hurt me!'

Isondil smiles with the elf as the group play

Arathus is grazed by Dynello's Javelin

Vaedron dusts himself off and grab his glass and orders another ale.

Shandor watches with interest. Ariea plays a little game with Sparkle, who mews apprieatively that he is getting noticed.

Dynello steps forward and attempts to shove Arathus over a table.

Isondil smiles at Vaedron and shouts ' looks like you had some fun!'

Dytalorien remarks, "Hope you didn't pay too much for the furniture..."

Arathus moves out of the way and tries to hit the back of Dynello to knock him off"

Lesharn says, 'Do the elves do this often?'

Vaedron downs another ale and chuckles at Isondil's comment.

Dytalorien replies to Lesharn, "I've never seen the like before.."

Dynello rolls forward and under the blow, turning around and bringing his Javelin out in front of him.

Shandor says, 'I have never known them to do it like.... this.. normally it is much more ritualistic.'

Lesharn says, 'I've seen this before, but they were all humans... and drunk'

Kamrock laughs, 'Dwarven sparring is much more intense, and it mimics a full-on attack.'

Arathus steps back and says "you truly do fight like a dragoon, but that will not be good enough!"

Dytalorien chuckles, "I guess I need to be around taverns more often."

Shandor wanders over to a serving elf and asks for some cranberry juice with ice, if they had it.

Lesharn says, 'I heard an elf in the back taking bets'

Jenn watches the sparring match but protests weakly, "Drunken human fights are good too.."

Isondil continues talking to the elf ignoring what else is going on

Dynello replies, "Not good enough? we shall see."

Vaedron thinks of ordering another ale but then says, "Maybe I have had enough."

Dynello kicks a chair at Arathus and leaps into the air

Dytalorien ponders, "How long shall this continue?"

Tasselhof says to Jenn "I'll spar you, if you still want to?"

Vaedron rubs his forehead and brushes his hair away from his face.

Arathus dodges the chair rather easily as he wonders what Dynello is gonna do

Jenn smiles and nods, "If you're game."

Tasselhof smiles and waits for the first sparring to finish

Dynello lands beside Arathus and attempts to sweep him with the butt-end of his Javelin.

Arathus attempts to jump the sweep but fails and falls down on his back

Varadrion wonders aloud "what’s going on"

Dynello holds the point of the Javelin to Arathus' neck

Dynello smirks

Lesharn says, 'Is this funny?'

Dytalorien says, "Guess it's over..."

Vaedron looks at Varadrion and says, "Sparing where have you been?"

Arathus suddenly rolls from under the javelins point and knocks Dynello over

Jenn says to noone in particular, "He's good..."

Dytalorien sighs, "Or not.."

Dynello falls forward but quickly rolls around

Dynello kicking himself up and facing Arathus

Isondil looks up from the elf's gaze and smiles at Jenn and nods

Varadrion looks at Vaedron "here and there"

Arathus says "nice warm-up, huh?"

Dynello realizes he's underestimated Arathus.

Vaedron smiles a half smile and goes back to watching the sparing.

Dynello smirks, "Indeed."

Varadrion looks excited by the sparring, and looks around for a potential partner

Shandor applauds the server who has finally brought him his drink.

Vaedron whispers to Varadrion, "None of them could take us."

Tolfur grabs a chair and yells in dwarven, 'Save some elven fat for me!'

Dynello picks up a mug of ale and lobs it at Arathus

Varadrion chuckles to Vaedron "I think you're right"

Arathus jumps back and then forward as he lunges at Dynello

Isondil laughs loudly at what the elf just said and catches Varadrion's eye

Jenn chuckles and says to Vaedron, "think again."

Shandor mutters, 'Spirited chap.'

Tolfur jumps into the fray swinging his chair wildly.

Dytalorien grins, "I'll say."

Varadrion looks at Jenn and chuckles quietly

Dynello slams shoulder-first into Arathus

Vaedron looks at Jenn and ignores her comment.

Dytalorien watches the antics of Tolfur.

Arathus is hit back to the edge of the table, just barely staying on

Jenn looks at Varadrion and Vaedron challengingly, "What? I could."

Tolfur jumps onto a table, but it
s on the middle.

Dynello jumps on the table, causing it to wobble

Dynello taps Arathus with the butt of his Javelin, pushing him backwards

Varadrion looks back at Jenn "Sounds like a challenge Vaedron, who wants it, you or me?"

Shandor chuckles

Vaedron waves his hand signalling for her to leave him alone.

Tasselhof says to Jenn, "Wait and see if your still standing after me"

Varadrion laughs "Guess that means me Jenn"

Tolfur puffs in fury, 'Don't do that! How dare you
the table I'm standing on'

Arathus Starts to fall but then does a quick flip over Dynello and swings at his back

Isondil looks at Varadrion and shouts ' hey Varadrion my friend here says you could beat me at a sparring match but I beg to differ, could you be as good to settle this!'

Dynello ducks and kicks out backwards

Dynello catching the impact of Arathur's weapon on the sole of his boot

Dynello wobbles a bit

Jenn says to Varadrion coolly, "I've been fighting since I could walk, I'm not too easy of an opponent."

Varadrion looks at Isondil and smiles "I’m sure I could, but I hope you don't like losing"

Arathus dodges and and does a counter kick

Varadrion smiles at Jenn "I've been fighting wild animals since I was "

Tolfur grabs an elven pie and shoves into the face of an elven lad.

Dynello grabs Arathus' Kick with his hand

Vaedron smirks at Varadrion.

Dynello holds him there, one leg off the table

Jenn smiles, "I've been living with them since four."

Isondil smiles at Varadrion and says ' don't you worry about me sir but it looks like you've got enough on your hands'

Arathus kicks with the other leg attempting to get free

Dynello ducks and spins, sending Arathus sprawling through the air.

Shandor suddenly leaps forward and flips towards the two. He tries shoving them both away.

Varadrion smiles "How bout this, Jenn AND Isondil, at once, unless you're both scared"

Tolfur yells something about elves and chickens in the same sentence.

Vaedron sits back in his chair and turns his attention back to the sparing.

Shandor says, 'How's about you call it a draw?'

Dynello says, "methinks who won depends on where he landed..."

Jenn smiles, "Seems like those two are nearly done, I'm not afraid."

Dytalorien blinks, "Aye, that sounds like a good idea."

Vaedron sighs mumbles something about letting them finish.

Dytalorien says, "Otherwise this could go on for quite a bit."

Shandor tries herding the two fighters away, 'Okay, who is up next?'

Shandor says, 'A try not to keep us up all night.'

Varadrion adds "and since I’m feelin’ lucky, you two can pick my weapon, dual daggers, or a long sword"

Arathus smirks and says "Dynello, you have proven yourself, and I will back down, congratulations"

Tasselhof says "I'll try!"

Dynello laughs, "You are no easy opponent..."

Tolfur scratches a scar up his left ear.

Jenn unsheathes her short sword, "I'll stay with my weapon..."

Arathus just smiles and walks away

Dynello slings his Javelin back over his shoulder.

Dytalorien reclines in his chair, watching the happenings.

Varadrion looks to Isondil "then which do YOU prefer i use, sword or dagger?"

Tolfur plunks on top a table with a sour grin.

Shandor stands in the middle of the little fighting arena, 'Come along now, quickly please.'

Dynello whispers something to Jenn in Elven

Lesharn says, 'are we leaving?'

Jenn frowns, "I don't speak Elven,,,"

Arathus walks away and analyzes in his head what he had done wrong in he fight

Dynello apologizes and repeats it in the common tongue.

Shandor shakes his head, 'No, I just merely wish the next to make up their minds on what to fight with and begin.'

Dytalorien chuckles and says to Dynello, "She's human, speak common."

Isondil smiles at Varadrion I’ll make it fair and wait my turn this lady wishes to place a bet

Tolfur gives Arathus some pointers starting with dwarven ale.

Vaedron yawns and says, "I must be getting to bed. Goodnight." He then walks off and down a few stairs and walks out of sight.

Arathus laughs and take the ale happily

Varadrion steps forward "I will fight any opponent then"

Jenn smiles at Varadrion and steps forward

Tolfur raises his hand and says, 'cannot the three of us fight at once?'

Dytalorien ponders and watches.

Varadrion chuckles "Free for all?"

Dynello raises his voice, "A drink to the winner!"

Jenn bows slightly, "If you wish."

Tolfur grins a toothy smile revealing a row of golden teeth.

Shandor claps his hands, drawing attention, 'Come along, *please* we do not have until Tarkna comes you know.'

Dynello says in Elven, <Yes yes, make it quick, the stars grow tired.>

Dytalorien closes his eyes, deciding to take a nap, though still listening to the sounds of the chamber.

Varadrion draws two daggers and looks at Jenn

Jenn winks

Tolfur taps his foot.

Varadrion charges Jenn

Jenn steps aside and slashes to her left

Isondil looks at Varadrion closely studying his movements and smiling inwardly

Tolfur grabs a candelabra in one hand a broomstick in the other.

Varadrion blocks the slash with a dagger and knocks the sword away with another

Dynello watches the combatants, leaning on his Javelin

Tolfur swings a broom-handle at Varadrion.

Jenn looks as her sword spins out and rolls and kicks his stomach

Dynello cuts the broom-handle with the tip of his Javelin

Shandor takes the moment to get the singers to sing a soft, slow melody, well getting some people to play instruments.

Dynello says, "No interfering."

Dytalorien listens intently to the movements of the duellists.

Varadrion falls from the kick, missing the broom-handle

Dynello pulls out his Lute, "I'll play."

Tolfur taunts Varadrion, 'come here feather'

Arathus walks over to Dynello and says "We will have to rematch someday."

Shandor takes Ariea's hand and begins dancing a slow, warm, soft dance, ignoring those fighting.

Varadrion rolls backwards to his feet and lunges at Jenn's stomach with his shoulder

Dynello says, "Indeed we will, with a bit more time and a larger playing field,"

Jenn ducks, but is nicked in the shoulder

Tolfur approaches Jenn with an intent to slam her with his candelabra.

Dynello plays a romantic tune for Shandor and Ariea.

Dytalorien opens a single eye questioningly at the peculiar sounds of dancing steps and fighting scrapes.

Isondil shakes his head and mutters that he has seen enough and continues talking with the elf smiling

Arathus replies plainly "Yes"

Varadrion turns and throws a dagger through Tolfur's broomstick, shattering it

Shandor rests his chin very gently on Ariea's head as she rests her's on his shoulder. He closes his eyes but opens them very slightly just to see what's happening in the fight.

Jenn punches his jaw while he turns

Tolfur blinks in disbelief and grabs a mug of ale.

Varadrion spins from the punch and kicks Jenn in the back of the leg

Dytalorien blinks at the scene enfolding before him.

Tolfur tosses the mug at Varadrion and laughs.

Dynello closes eyes and focuses on the strings on his lute.

Dynello continues playing the soft melody for the dance.

Arathus walks off into the forest and sits down beside a tree

Jenn winces then flips to kick his side

Varadrion grabs the mug mid-spin and hits Jenn with it in the leg and throws it back at Tolfur

Tolfur picks up an elven bowl and throws it at Jenn.

Jenn mutters, "So are we not using our weapons now?" Ducks as the bowl shatters

Dynello says sadly, "What a waste of good craftsmanship..."

Tolfur ducks and lets the mug collide with the wall behind him.

Dytalorien watches in astonishment at the sight of flying bowls and mugs.

Tolfur taunts, 'Weapons? They are for sissies'

Varadrion chuckles "I still have one dagger"

Dynello says a bit perturbed, "Lets leave the bowls alone, the drudges already have enough to clean."

Varadrion hits Jenn in the chest with the butt-end of his dagger

Tolfur jumps up and grabs a branch and kicks at Varadrion in the air.

Jenn grins, "I agree, " She grabs a fork and throws it at Tolfur and punches Varadrion

Shandor finishes the slow dance.

Dynello finishes the song.

Tolfur grits his teeth as a fork pierces through his tunic.

Shandor , and Ariea, turn to face the dance.

Dytalorien sighs, "There goes the silverware."

Shandor thanks Dynello.

Isondil chuckles as the elf observes Varadrion with some amusement

Varadrion reels from the punch and throws the dagger at the fork, knocking it off course, and draws his long sword

Dynello hands a flower to Shandor.

Tolfur grabs a grilled chicken and slams it across Varadrions head.

Dynello hands a similar flower to Ariea.

Varadrion falls to the floor on his stomach

Dynello whispers in Elven, <May the stars shine brightly upon you.>

Jenn rushes in and shoves the chicken back into Tolfur's face

Shandor accepts it with a smile and turns to Ariea, ready to give it to her, but then noticing she had one also.

Lesharn says, 'I didn't know the elves celebrated with food fights...'

Dytalorien grins, "Food fight!"

Varadrion grabs Tolfur's legs between his own and takes his feet out from under him

Dynello smiles, a little sad, at the couple.

Dytalorien grabs a nearby apple and tosses it at the combatants.

Tolfur gulps for breathe as the chicken stuffs his mouth.

Shandor says, in line with Ariea, in elven, <Thank you, Dynello>

Jenn takes the opportunity and slams Varadrion’s arm down to the ground

Isondil nods with the elf and mutters 'scrappy'

Dynello a saddened look crosses his face, but then is gone, <You're very welcome.>

Varadrion groans and kicks her below the knee, buckling her leg

Tolfur pulls the chicken from his mouth with a cross (and red) look on his face.

Varadrion rolls way and stands up

Jenn groans, but grabs his dagger and nicks him ankles

Dytalorien looks about for more ammunition, and spots a large crock of soup.

Arathus walks back over to Dynello and the couple

Varadrion stumbles backwards, but regains his balance, and waits for Jenn tog et to her feet

Dynello bows his head to Arathus.

Tolfur grabs a chair and starts swinging it in Jenn’s direction.

Shandor says, 'This is most certainly the oddest Becoming feast I have ever attended... now, who to blame for it...?' Before being hit playfully by Ariea.

Dytalorien muses and considers throwing it, but decides against the mess that it would create and goes back to watching.

Shandor nods to Arathus

Varadrion throws a Vial filled with a black liquid into Tolfur's face, blinding him

Jenn rolls away from Tolfur and slides her foot under Vara's

Dynello laughs good-naturedly, the last of his sadness leaving his eyes.

Arathus nods back

Varadrion jumps into the air and drops, his sword stopping inches from her chest

Tolfur shouts, 'Can't they play by the Rules??'

Jenn nods and murmurs something to him

Shandor notes the sadness, but decides not to pry into Dynello's history.

Varadrion backs off

Shandor shouts back, 'Apparently not!'

Jenn punches him in the jaw and slides away to his side

Jenn winks impishly at Vara

Dytalorien cringes.

Isondil nods at Shandor and Ariea smiling at them

Tolfur nods in agreement and wipes the black liquid from his face.

Dynello smiles to Shandor, apparently guessing what he was thinking.

Arathus Smiles at the melee fight going on

Varadrion jumps back

Shandor smiles politely to Dynello before turning his attention to the fight

Dytalorien yawns and decides to head to his room.

Tolfur says, 'You fight like a cow!'

Dytalorien walks off, exiting the chamber.

Varadrion raises a hand

Kamrock sighs, 'They take a ritual, and make turn it into a drunken rumble.'

Dynello shouts, "This is supposed to be a 'Friendly' Exhibition my friend."

Varadrion says "I must sleep now, good fight Jenn"

Isondil nods to Kamrock in agreement

Jenn laughs and says, "Fight? more like a bar brawl.. oh well."

Tolfur laughs heartily and wobbles towards the bar.

Dynello notes to himself, "MY fight was civilized enough."

Isondil smiles and says ' maybe later friend

Dynello continues, "But then again, I wasn't fighting a dwarf."

Kamrock grins, 'Would you like to?

Lesharn gets a set of juggling balls and starts to perform.

Dynello says, "I fear I may be a bit worn out, m'friend."

Jenn yawns and brushes some of the debris from her tunic

Lesharn says, 'Someone toss me an apple!'

Jenn turns to Shandor, "I think I'll retire too."

Arathus sits next to a tree again and looks as if he is in dep thought

Kamrock says in Dwarven, 'Yea, worn out,'

Dynello finishes up the night by walking up the choir platform.

Shandor walks forward amongst the group, 'Well, seems you've worn most people out with this sparring idea, who ever it was.'

Dynello joins in an old haunting Elven melody.

Dynello hides a smile.

Isondil smiles at the elf and she smiles back leading him away to talk to other elves

Lesharn sends his set of juggling balls spinning through the air in an eclipse shape.

Shandor says, 'Shall we have a final few dances before retiring for the night?' Adding a small wink to Ariea.

Shandor smirks as the wink causes Ariea to light up red.

Kamrock yells, 'Well It seems I have no sparring partner?'

Dynello sings in Elven, <White in the moon the long road lies, the moon stands blank above.>

Arathus falls asleep in a deep train of though to the elven music right next tot eh tree

Dynello continues singing, <White in the moon the long road lies, that leads me from my love.>

Jenn pats Shandor on the arm, "Sleep well, See you guys in the morning."

Skalf walks up to Shandor the field, walking seems to goes a bit hard and the smell of beer is hangs around him

Shandor taps his foot along with Dynello's song.

Isondil winks at Shandor and says ' you read my mind' his eyes flashing towards the elf

Lesharn pauses his juggling and stops to listen at Dynello.

Shandor turns to Skalf, 'Ah, hello again.'

Skalf says "great party you got here mate.. "and gives a red package to Shandor

Lesharn says, 'Shandor any idea where we will be heading after A'lure?'

Dynello waits through a short musical interlude.

Arathus awakes abruptly to the sound of a nearby animal and gets back up

Shandor nods to Lesharn, 'Yes, but for the moment such matters can wait.

Dynello continues singing, <Still hangs the edge without a gust, Still still the shadows stay>

Lesharn nods and peers about for Appleseed.

Arathus walks over to Skalf and says "Let me introduce myself, I am Arathus of the Ranger order"

Dynello singing, <My feet upon the moonlit dust, Pursue the ceaseless way.>

Kamrock yells, 'Hmm, yer all tired?' and adds in Dwarven, 'Too drunk and scared more like.'

Isondil leads the elf onto the dance-floor and winks at Lesharn

Skalf looks up "good-day sir.. like to tell me where a dwarf can get a good ale? "

Dynello singing, <The world is round, so travellers tell, and straight through reach the track>

Shandor turns to Kamrock, 'Same old Kamrock, hiding your cowardice behind lies.'

Shandor points out, 'I am not drunk, nor near so.'

Dynello singing, <Trudge on, Trudge on, 'twill all be well, The way will guide on back>

Lesharn says, 'I could use an instrument maker to fix my mothers lyre'

Shandor turns to Lesharn, 'Of course, friend, I will get you one in the morning.'

Lesharn smiles happily at Shandor

Arathus replies happily with "Look around you, Its a party"

Kamrock laughs at Shandor, 'Well, I wait, on one condition, you don't use Basserix.'

Dynello singing, <But ere the circle homeward hides, far far must it remove;>

Dynello finishes the last verse, <White in the moon the long road lies, That leads me from my love.>

Lesharn claps at Dynello’s lyrics.

Shandor turns and begins dancing with Ariea again, leaving Sparkle the cat and Lestat the Jayle on their own (with Goldie!)

Dynello with the choral part of the song over, he steps down and makes way for the dancing music.

Isondil twirls the elf around the hall and smiles broadly back at her

Dynello hopes the song wasn't too intrusive of him.

Arathus goes over to Dynello and says "That was very beautiful music"

Kamrock laughs and walks toward Dynello, 'So you are a battle hardened Leader, then?'

Dynello flushes a little, "Why thank you very much."

Skalf sits on a barrel and mumble's "about elves and beer"

Dynello looks at Kamrock, as a look of sadness once again crosses his face. "I was a dragoon once, yes."

Shandor dances elegantly with Ariea.

Isondil moves around the hall with the elf dancing somewhat dangerously for onlookers

[Narrator] The same acrobats as before re-emerge, dancing for the most part, with the occasional display of their skill.

Kamrock looks interested at Dynellos change in expression, and laughs, 'A similar fate to the end of my battling?'

Dynello says quietly, "Perhaps...perhaps..."

Arathus once again gets the look of curiosity on his face as he listens to Dynello

Skalf walks up to the group forming around Dynello

Kamrock sighs, 'They called me the warm-hearted Dwarf, this was in a town of Elves.'

Shandor laughs, ''Warm-hearted'? Too much drink again?'

Isondil begins moving even quicker than before rivalling the speed of the elven acrobats

Skalf says "your one of those lowlands dwarven I hear of these days? "

Kamrock ignores Shandor, 'Lowlands Dwarven?

Dynello silently makes his way away from the group and seeks some white wine.

Skalf mumble' "haven't ya heard? They live in houses instead a house in fine rock"

Lesharn approaches Dynello and says, 'Nice singing..'

Isondil continues even quicker getting cheers from the elves as he and the elf narrowly avoid Shandor and Ariea

Dynello bows his head to Lesharn, says quietly in the common tongue, "Thank you..."

Kamrock laughs, 'I built my house, a HUGE Obsidian and Jade Palace.'

Arathus walks over to a nearby table and finds a mug of ale not touched

Jenn enters the area again, visibly tired but still fully dressed

Lesharn slowly says, 'I don't believe we've met. I'm Lesharn, once minstrel of the royal courts in Torindal'

Dynello takes a drink to soothe his vocal cords.

Dynello bows to Lesharn, says in his slightly accented common, "I am Dynello, no one of consequence."

Lesharn motions the bartender for another goblet of white whine.

Arathus walks over to Lesharn and Dynello

Jenn walks over to Dynello, and says smiling sleepily "I could hear you all the way from my room."

Kamrock grins at Skalf, 'I was named the 'Warm Hearted' because I fought for my Lady, Tenia.'

Lesharn says, 'I couldn't help but overhear you were a dragoon...'

Dynello flushes a little, "I only sing for fun..."

Skalf stumble's back towards the bar and shouts "a ale and gives this elf one also!"

Lesharn nods at Arathus welcoming him to the group.

Dynello says with another trace of sadness, "Yes...I was a dragoon..."

Shandor yawns slightly, but continues dancing.

Arathus nods back

Jenn smiles, "You sing exceedingly well, for a dragoon, especially."

Isondil finally slows and regains balance smiling at the elf before kissing her on the cheek and walking off with her towards Skalf at the bar

Dynello flushes even more.

Lesharn says, 'I see... as I.. was once a minstrel'

Arathus noticed that every time dragoon was mentioned that Dynello was saddened

Tasselhof whispers to Shandor, "Isondil is still with that Elf-maiden?"

Arathus thinks to himself "Something terrible must of happened"

Kamrock laughs, 'Lord Kamrock Silveraxe, the Warm Hearted.

Jenn giggles stupidly, sleepiness and alcohol starting to take full affect, "Lesharn's our groups minstrel."

Lesharn nods at Arathus.

Lesharn blushes at Jenn.

Isondil winks at Skalf and says ' haven't seen much of you tonight' before his eyes flash towards the elf again

Lesharn looks through his bard satchel and gets a raspberry pie.

Lesharn licks his mouth and starts to munch down on the pie.

Jenn says airily, "You're turning red Lesharn."

Dynello quietly sneaks away from the group and to a table.

Kamrock reaches for his axe from his belt.

Lesharn blushes even more and looks away.

Skalf Mumble' s "if ya like her Boy. then go talk to her instead wasting my good drinking time"

Arathus says to Lesharn "What instrument do you play"

Jenn yawns and rubs her eyes, trying to stay awake.

Kamrock growls at Skalf, 'Who are you calling 'boy'?

Lesharn says, 'I play the flute and an oaken lyre that a hideous furry monster broke... it was the lyre of my mothers'

Dynello returns to the group and puts his cloak around Jenn's shoulders.

Skalf laughs at Kamrock while pointing at Isondil

Jenn sits down and says mournfully, "And he was so good at it too.."

Shandor is sitting with Ariea, deep in conversation.

Lesharn says, 'but Shandor says he knows a friend that can fix it...'

Jenn looks at Dynello startled, then frowns

Dynello says in his lightly accented common, "Those too tired t stand shouldn't."

Shandor looks up at mention of his name, 'Indeed I do. I'll find him tomorrow for you.'

Jenn looks at Dynello again, a hint of recognition flashing in her eyes

Isondil all to aware of Skalf’s watchful view he leads the elf away

Arathus smiles and says "well I’m glad it is fixable"

Dynello mumbles something quietly in Elven

Kamrock laughs, 'Aye, Shandor knows a lot of people, even in my Homeland.'

Lesharn smiles at Arathus and says, 'Are you from nearby?'

Jenn whispers something back to him, though whether it is Elven or not, one cannot tell."

Shandor nods slightly, 'Travelled around a lot.' Ariea whispers too him, 'Too much.'

Dynello stiffens as a spark crosses his eyes.

Arathus replies with "I have no real home, I travel most of the time and live in the wilderness, I have been in the forest for quite some time now because I find it so beautiful"

Jenn eyes widen and backs away from Dynello

Kamrock sighs, 'Never had the chance to travel, I was stuck defending my Hometown.'

Dynello stammers, "I....I...."

Jenn fumbles with her necklace, then quickly turns to Lesharn, "Dance with me."

Jenn avoids Dynello's eyes

Skalf mumble's "to busy drinking your kings ale I presume “while laughing

Lesharn nods at Arathus and says, 'Then you're not really accustomed to this much company?'

Kamrock says, 'A hometown that now lies in ruin, all because I was away splitting the Alms.'

Lesharn stutters at Jenn, 'D-d-dance?'

Arathus watches at the small event that had just occurred

Shandor listens only vaguely to the conversation going on.

Skalf mumble's to arathus "he probely was to drunk to fight "

Shandor watches as Ariea goes over to Lesharn, 'Yes, go dance with Jenn, it's fun, me and Shandor will join you.'

Jenn nods, looking over her shoulder at Dynello, "Yes... dance..."

Isondil rejoins the group slowly leading the elf behind him and sitting down beside Dynello

Shandor stutters, 'We will?'

Dynello slumps into a chair, looking grey.

Shandor is hoisted to his feet by Ariea who states, 'We will.'

Lesharn smiles and says, 'Alright, but I'm only half your size!'

Arathus walks over to Dynello wondering what happened

Dynello sits there..pale..trembling...

Jenn smiles weakly, eyes glancing over at Dynello, "It's ok."

Arathus says "Are you feeling alright?"

Dynello says shakily in common, "No...it's not...."

Jenn grabs Lesharn's hands and starts to dance

Lesharn blushes and does his best to follow Jenn’s footsteps.

Isondil looks around at Dynello and winks ' woman trouble?'

Dynello stares icily at Isondil.

Shandor begins dancing with Ariea.

Dynello stands up

Lesharn exclaims, 'You're a great dancer!'

Isondil ignores Dynello and continues talking to the elf

Jenn giggles, a bit nervously, and murmurs a thank you

Lesharn nearly stumbles, but graciously manages to prolong the stumble into an elegant sweeping motion of the hand.

Dynello says in Elven, <When the past comes calling, listen or be forsaken.>

Jenn 's eyes continually flicker towards Dynello, but dances even faster with Lesharn

Jenn smiles warmly and says to Lesharn, "You are a graceful a dancer as you are a bard."

Dynello hurls his wine-glass to the floor and walks stiffly toward the woods.

Isondil looks around at Dynello in awe at him speaking Elven and mutters to himself

Lesharn smiles nervously and builds his courage, sending Jenn into a twirl.

Arathus chases after Dynello into the woods

Lesharn giggles shyly.

Jenn giggles

Dynello screams in a language no one can understand, a long drawn out phrase.

Shandor looks at Dynello in shock, 'I know that language... I think...'

Shandor says, 'And if you said what I think you said...' He stops speaking.

Isondil takes the and of the elf and here's her whisper ' dance with me'

Lesharn says to Jenn, 'This is how we dance in my hometown at the spring festival'

Lesharn shows Jenn a few moves part of the annual spring dance.

Arathus backs up for a second and then goes back and runs to Dynello "What was that all about!"

Lesharn asks Jenn, 'Is Dynello, alright?'

Dynello turns to Arathus, face hard and cold, "The past is not something to remember, it's something to forget."

Jenn grins and catches on quickly, "This is similar to a village dance I had back at my old home."

Jenn 's face clouds over, "There is nothing. I do not know him."

Arathus replies with "The why do you seem to be remembering it?"

Lesharn applauds Jenn and moves on to some of the more elaborate steps.

Dynello says again in the Archaeic Elven that no one knows, <I once was real.>

Jenn looks at Dynello, and shouts, "Heruamin! Lle wethrine arnin!"

Jenn glares

Dynello stares at Jenn

Lesharn raises an eyebrow.

Dynello says in common, "You...."

Arathus stares in wonder at what he had says, but then quietly walks away off into the woods

Jenn sneers, "I don't remember."

Dynello says numbly, "You're not the same little girl...."

Jenn bows slightly and says an apology to Lesharn and sits down

Lesharn says, 'What's going on? I don't understand a thing...'

Dynello whispers, "None of this is real..."

Jenn walks close to him and says sharply, "If I was, I'd be dead."

Shandor apologizes to Ariea and disappears and appears in front of Dynello.

Dynello slaps Jenn hard across the face.

Shandor says, 'Perhaps if you explained what was going on?'

Isondil sits down with the elf beside another elf he knows

Dynello says coldly, "I am dead."

Shandor grabs Dynello's hand before it can hit Jenn's face.

Arathus hears Dynello's whisper but makes as if he didn't and continues to walk away

Jenn spits blood out and then glares at Dynello

Shandor shakes Dynello, 'What's going on?'

Tolfur approaches Kamrock and growls in dwarven, 'Where can an honest dwarf find some decent ale around here?'

Arathus turns back and runs back to where Dynello stands

Arathus draws his blade

Jenn says coldly, "Tanya nae n'quel."

Shandor says, 'Now don't hit anyone again, just explain.'

Dynello says to Shandor in Elven, <It's a very long story...>

Shandor turns to Arathus and barks, 'Put that blade away.'

Jenn looks away, "Nothing Shandor..."

Isondil looks up in mild panic at Dynello and walks over

Dynello says quietly..."Just forget it..."

Shandor says, 'I have a few hundred years left in me, how about you explain it.'

Arathus sheaths his blade and stands quietly

Dynello glances at Jenn

Jenn glares

Dynello says sadly, "I'm sure she'll tell you..."

Shandor says, 'If I have to bind with magic both of you to oak trees I will. So, just explain what's going on.'

Dynello wrestles free of Shandor’s grasp.

Isondil walks up and say's to Jenn ' what's going on?'

Shandor grabs Dynello again

Shandor mutters a quick spell and green beams of energy constrict Dynello, 'Now..'

Jenn spits out, "There is nothing to explain."

Shandor turns to Jenn, 'Don't make me do the same.'

Dynello says quietly, "Tanya farnuva arwenarnin."

Isondil says 'at least tell me if your ok'

Jenn looks at Dynello and cries out, "Amin Delotha Lle!"

Shandor snaps at both of them. 'If there is nothing to explain, then you will sit here and go through your entire life until I find something interesting!'

Arathus is very interested in the scene being made by Shandor and Dynello

Jenn clenches her teeth and mutters, "He... He.."

Dynello looks blank and numb.

Dynello skin a grey pallor.

Shandor barks, 'I'm still Waiting!'

Arathus mutters to himslef "And so am I"

Jenn rubs her jaw from where he hit her, and says in an odd restrained voice, "He used to be... an.. old friend.."

Dynello glances at Jenn...opens his mouth as if to say something.

Shandor says, 'Continue.'

Dynello closes it again.

Jenn says bitterly, "Of course, I was... what? Seven years old at the time?"

Dynello makes a choking noise.

Jenn shouts, "Open your eyes Dynello!I'm still alive!"

Lesharn says, 'Looks, like another fight coming up...'

Shandor says, 'Stop it!'

Jenn bites her tongue and tears start welling up.

Dynello whispers, "You were never meant to die...none of them were..."

Shandor says, 'Make more sense, or let's see....'

Kamrock dodges the swing, covering himself with the shield

Shandor shouts, 'What? What is going on? Who died, or was supposed to? Who are you two?'

Dynello whispers "I am who I said I am....a former dragoon of the Valmiera Dragon Knights..."

Jenn cries, "Amin delotha lle!"

Shandor barks, 'Continue Dynello.'

Jenn sobs, "Can't you piece it together Shandor? He's a Dragoon! A bloody Dragoon!"

Shandor rolls his eyes, 'Oh yes, thanks for that... any more obvious revelations. Just what the Tarkna was a dragoon.'

Dynello whispers in the Archaec Elven, so only Shandor can understand, <I was ordered to destroy a village...>

Dynello continues, <Me and me men arrived...there were nothing but peasents.. women and children...>

Jenn shrieks, "I can understand you, Don't dare hide the past from the others as well!"

Shandor blinks at Dynello.

Skalf looks at his shoulder, his dark eye' s glitter ..

Dynello keeps talking...<My men were thirsty for blood..new, all of them, to the battlefield...

Shandor is feeling nauseated.

Jenn stands up and flings her necklace at him, "Women and childen? And old men! And my father! And my brother!"

Dynello taking <If I had said no...they would have killed me...and everyone in the villaige...>

Skalf runs closer, wielding the hammer and hits the shield wich
s into pieces

Shandor shakes his head in disbelief.

Dynello talking <So I followed orders....and left one little girl...and her father....>

Jenn collapses, tears streaking down her face.

Shandor looks at Jenn briefly.

Shandor 's legs feel weak.

Skalf moves aside..

Isondil roars 'What is going on stop now!'

Lesharn briefly places a comforting hand on Jenns shoulder.

Arathus wonders what is going on

Shandor mutters faintly, 'I assume that's you Jenn.'

Skalf jumps next to Kamrock while hitting him in the back

Dynello sits there...numb and grey...not moving nor talking.

Jenn shrieks in the same Archaeic Elven, <And my father went mad! I did too!>

Kamrock reaches for his belt while falling.

Arathus says "My God...what did he tell you Shandor"

Kamrock rolls along the floor.

Jenn cries, <But he didn't care, none of them did, they ripped my mother and brother apart.>

Skalf comes closer, hitting Kamrock on every place he can hit him

Dynello winces

Lesharn agrees with Arathus.

Isondil 'right you've got one more chance or I’ll get angry now stop!'

Dynello eyes cloud over with a grey-ish Mist.

Jenn weeps bitterly, <But left my father and I alive, perhaps to suffer existence alone.>

Shandor is dizzy, he had seen destruction, he had even caused some of it, but none as barbaric as this.

Jenn says, <And Father went mad.>

Lesharn wipes a tear from his eyes.

Dynello says in a whispering sing-song voice, "Silent the halls that were bathed in red tears...silent save sobs of the damned..."

Skalf shouts "darn you Kamrock!

Jenn stands up, wiping tears, <And Father almost killed me too... and I had to kill him>

Shandor has lost his voice. Unsure of what to say.

Dynello chanting "Silent the cries of the vagabond years...as death and I walk hand in hand..."

Shandor mutters, 'The Spirits can be cruel... too cruel....'

Arathus yells out "That’s it! I Demand to be told what is going on!"

Jenn says coldly as tears start anew, <But for some reason, HE helped me>

Lesharn puts a hand on Arathus shoulder and says, 'I'm sorry friend, but who are we to demand? It is apparent that if they wanted us to know they would tell us...'

Jenn says, <And..and.. He kept me alive, until he ordered his men I be dragged out into the woods and be killed there.>

Dynello stands up in indignation.

Jenn cries in common, "For the love of Nanjarii! I was only seven!"

Shandor looks at Dynello, horrified that someone like him could sing such a sweet song for him and Ariea.

Dynello says, "I gave them strict orders to take you to the county seat..."

Arathus decides to let it be and walks away into the woods to spend the night alone

Jenn glares at him, tears blurring her vision, <You ordered them to kill me! It was you! Don't deny it!>

Dynello whispers "I would never order the death of an innocent child..."

Isondil shakes his head and mutters 'not today' before walking over to his elf again

Shandor says, 'I would hope not, but you killed many, did you not?

Jenn spits on his face, "Well the damage has been done."

Dynello says, "I killed none...."

Dynello whispers, "None but myself..."

Jenn shrieks hysterically, "It was you! All you! And you tore my father apart! My mother! My brother!"

Shandor mutters in the same language as the other two <Who did you kill Dynello? Why did you let them, why not try and rally the townsfolk to fight>

Dynello stares at Jenn with numb eyes.

Jenn cries out, "Morier! Wethrinaer, feuyaer amin delotha lle!"

Lesharn shakes his head and covers his ears in protest.

Jenn sinks down to the ground and
s down.

Dynello talking <The townsfolk were in the church...I kept my men away as long as I could...>

Shandor shakes his head <I don't know what to think... How could you? I would have given my life trying to protect them. Any humane person would.>

Dynello says shakily, <I said nothing about being Humane...>

Dynello looks down at the necklace in his hand.

Jenn weeps bitterly, "He is not humane, he is a dragoon, always a dragoon, he is NOT humane."

Dynello says coldly, "I am not a dragoon...he died that day."

Jenn shrieks again, eyes red, <I don't care! You're not dead enough for my taste! You wanted me to die that day! Do you know how much I've suffered?"

Isondil listens as his elf mutters something to him about Dynello

Shandor says weakly, <And you haven't seen each other since? How did you survive Jenn?>

Dynello mutters <I wanted no one to die that day, this conversation is moving in circles.>

Jenn says, <I escape... Only me.> <+Jenn> escaped, even

Shandor continues <Jenn, more death will not help>

Dynello eyes go blank...<Perhaps it will...>

Jenn says,<You won't die yet Dragoon! Not until you've suffered! Long and hard!>

Dynello wrenches away from Shandor and runs for the woods

Isondil looks at Dynello with increasing hate as the elf continues to whisper in his ear

Shandor barks, <ENOUGH!>

Dynello screams over his shoulder <I HAVE>

Shandor shouts <More Death WILL NOT help>

Dynello stops at the edge of the dance-floor.

Shandor turns to Jenn <Your loss is awful, I lost my family as well, but killing somebody doesn't take that pain away, can't you see that>

Jenn cries, clenching her teeth, <I was seven when I was cast out, Since then I lived, in the woods for eight years.>

Jenn shrieks, <You listen to me, dragoon! This is how I lived!>

Dynello says to himself...<And how have I lived...?....Daene is dead....>

Jenn says, <When I was fifteen I decided I had to go somewhere and had to work as a bar wench for three long years until I escaped there also! Do you know how many scars I bear?>

Dynello says coldly <Do you know how many years I spent running...from your people, from my people, from my family and friends.>

Jenn shouts, <Daene should have died!>

Dynello continues <No home, no rest, no feelings, nothing.>

Dynello winces.

Dynello says softly in common..."A flower does not deserve to die before it has bloomed...."

Jenn stands up and rants and cries something unintelligible.

Jenn faints

Shandor shakes his head <Please stop this! More violence is not the answer, I've been there, you never and I mean NEVER feel better>

Shandor rushes to Jenn.

Dynello walks over and lifts Jenn off the ground.

Shandor shoves Dynello away.

Dynello says quietly..."No...a flower does not deserve to die..."

Isondil filled with intense angry from the elfs whispers he rushes out side taking a knife with him before she follows running

Dynello falls back into a table, dropping Jenn.

Shandor is still holding Jenn.

Shandor sets her down gently on a chair.

Dynello was knocked unconscious as his head hit the table.

Shandor stands up.

Shandor mutters in disbelief.

Dynello mutters and sits up.

Kamrock looks at Skalf with an anger in his eye and yells, 'I am no Drunk, you half-reared, drink dependant, bum of a Dwarf. I would rather you suffered the fate Bolfur.'

Skalf says "what you know about Bolfur?

Skalf puts his hand close to his anvil-headed warhammer

Skalf walk towards Kamrock "and what clan might you be?"

Kamrock spits, 'Clans, they help me not, I was a Lord of a Colony, an AngleRian Colony, clans are of no need to me.'

Shandor says, 'A dwarf without a clan is like Lesharn without his lyre.'

Skalf mumble's "that’s why you WERE the lord and that’s why you are now a beggar at the clans"

Skalf says "I’ve heard of you, Kamrock"

Kamrock growls at Shandor, 'A Beggar at Clans?'

Shandor says, 'Don't growl at me, you deaf, senile idiot.'

Skalf says "remember Thorak? You owe him goldpieces.. remember?"

Kamrock scratches his head, 'If I've ever met a Thorak, I'd remember

Skalf says; "he is my cousin, and you owe him money, "

Kamrock growls, 'Well come and take it from me, I am far from short of Gold, as no Dwarf should ever be.'

Kamrock wields his axe, in both hands.

Skalf walks closer to Kamrock" getting out a huge anvil-headed Warhammer

Kamrock laughs at Skalf, 'Although, as of yet, I owe nothing to anyone.'

Skalf laughs at Kamrock while saying.. "you got a debt to my clan, and I will collect it "

Kamrock nods toward Skalf, 'I owe nothing, but my life to my people.'

Skalf walks up to kamrock "a dwarf who doesn’t pay his debt .. may you live in dishonour"

Kamrock unstraps a shield from his back, 'I am repaying it with the lives of those who killed my people.'

Skalf shouts "you bring shame on your ancestors"

Kamrock laughs, 'Collect your money already.'

Skalf wields his warhammer and hits the shield of Kamrock..

Kamrock swings his axe at Skalfs legs

Skalf rolls over and stand up.. moving his hammer towards kamrocks helmet

Skalf moves closer and his hammer strikes.. right, left but the shield is in the way

Kamrock swings out right, aiming for Skalfs head.

Skalf moves to the right but gets hit on the shoulder

Skalf left arm hurts, blood comes through the chainmail

Isondil walks back over to his elf and looks at Skalf and Kamrock in mild interest thinking it's just a dwarf sparring match

Kamrock laughs evilly and turns.

Isondil looks over to Skalf and sees Skalf in pain and rushes over to stop this before somebody gets really hurt

Kamrock straps his shield on his back again

Kamrock swings violently for Skalf, aiming high.

Kamrock slams a short knife into Skalf’s foot.

Skalf shouts of pain..

Kamrock stands and readies his axe again.

Isondil grabs Kamrock and throws him off Skalf

Kamrock hit's the ground near Skalf, and his left arm lets out a loud CRACK!

Skalf shouts even harder, looking at his blooded foot

Isondil moves in between Kamrock and Skalf and Shouts ' explain!'

Kamrock stands, 'Well, we are both hurt, I say we are equal, now admit it, do I owe your cousin anything?'

Skalf mumble's "There will be another day were we clear this out, once and for all"

Skalf looks full of hate towards Kamrock

Kamrock laughs loudly, 'You wish.’

Skalf gets up while shouting "who you call a drunk" and jump on Kamrock hitting him with his fists

Kamrock throws Skalf to the floor.

Skalf gets up and hits Kamrock on his hurt arm.. a sickmaking sound can be heard

Kamrock swings his axe round, perfectly aimed for Skalfs arm.

Isondil shakes his head towards Skalf and Kamrock

Skalf dives under the axe and lands on the floor

Kamrock kicks at Skalf, heavily.

Skalf falls but is able to roll away from the kicking kamrock

Skalf jumps up and grabs kamrock.. while biting is his ear

Kamrock spits at Skalf, 'When will you learn?'

Kamrock throws Skalf over his shoulder.

Skalf lands painfully but is back up fast

Kamrock heavily charges Skalf, with a spiked shoulderplate.

Skalf dives away, while kamrock hits the wall

Skalf sees kamrock been stuck in the wooden wall

Skalf walks over and grabs his money bag

Skalf says "so.. was that so hard for ya< kamrock

Kamrock yells in Dwarven, 'Such a feeble Dwarf, doesn't deserve my presence.'

Skalf gets coins out and throws it back to kamrock

Kamrock pulls free, pulling splinters from the wall, and cracks skalf dead on the Forehead.

Skalf laughs.. "your debt is paid Lord kamrock.."

Kamrock snatches the gold and grabs for Skalf’s neck.

Skalf put a dagger close to kamrocks neck

Skalf says "give it back.. NOW!"

Kamrock yell is Dwarven, 'Never have I needed anything from anyone, you say I owe, and you are lower than a common Human thief, with no future

Skalf puts the dagger closer to the neck of kamrock, making it hard to breath for him

Kamrock says, 'I shall die before you get any Gold of mine.'

Skalf mumble's "that could be arranged"

Kamrock closes his hands round Skalf’s neck.

Kamrock smiles, and spits in Skalfs face, 'Must I really kill you? Even though the world would better without you?'

Skalf gets the dagger closer.. and the first sign of blood can be seen

Isondil walks back in with to dead birds in his hand and the elf following cautiously behind

Shandor barks at the two dwarves, 'Really, you two GROW UP. There is much more important things then your petty little squabble.

Skalf mumble's "petty??

Dynello says quietly, "They all would've died...I would've died....If I had tried to save them...

Dynello continues "at least I could save two of them...."

Shandor says, 'There has been real suffering, more than missing two-hundred items.'

Kamrock growls, 'And if you kill me? What then?' Throws all his gold to Shandor, 'Don't let his gang get it if I kill him.'

Isondil throws a looks of pure hate towards Dynello before waling over to clam himself

Shandor takes the bag of gold and throws it in one of the grand fires.

Skalf gets the bag of gold and throws a part back.. only coins"

Shandor dusts his hands off. 'There, your money is in the flames, get it if you wish.'

Kamrock closes his hands more on Skalfs throat.

Dynello uses his Javelin to pull himself to his feet.

Dynello says in his accented common, "Get her out of here and to a bed....she will be sore in the morning..."

Dynello points to Jenn...

Shandor shoves the two apart.

Shandor nods and turns to the group, 'Can someone help her?'

Kamrock slams back toward Skalf.

Skalf walks up to the fire.. get the bag out and collecting some fallen coins

Isondil nods and walks towards Jenn still gazing at Dynello with fury which he had not experienced in awhile

Dynello slings his Javelin back over his shoulder.

Skalf comes closer while hitting Kamrock on the head with a bottle

Dynello turns to Shandor

Kamrock holds his hand-axe to Skalf's neck.

Shandor grabs both of the dwarves necks. He rams their hands together and knocks them both senseless.

Dynello says quietly, "They all would've died....and me with them...."

Dynello continues "I tried what little I could..."

Isondil bends over Jenn and feels her head and whispers something

Shandor says, 'Perhaps. But now is a time to look to the future.'

Dynello nods slowly.

Kamrock grabs the coins, 'Next time you need money you petty thief.'

Dynello looks down at the necklace in his hands.

Dynello says softly, "I gave this too her, that day..."

Dynello continues "A little girl with the necklace of a Dragoon captain would not have been harmed..."

Shandor turns to Dynello, feeling empathy, he turns to Ariea and hopes nothing like that happens to him.

Kamrock laughs, 'Pick on someone less harmless, like an Army of Trolls.'

Skalf falls at the floor, landing close to the feet of Jenn

Dynello says earnestly to Shandor, "She would not have been harmed...not wearing this."

Dynello holds up the necklace that Jenn threw at him.

Shandor nods slowly, 'Now, go to sleep for tonight.'

Skalf mumble's Good-day lady..

Dynello nods numbly, "Yes...Yes..."

Kamrock places the coins in a fresh coin-bag on his belt. Kamrock promptly returns to a seat and starts to drink.

Shandor turns to everyone else. 'Please, let us go to bed and feel better come the morn.'

Skalf gets up, after looking angry at kamrock, and sits down next to the barrel of dwarven ale

Dynello hikes his javelin up over his shoulder, spares a glance at Jenn and Shandor, heads for the woods to set a tent for himself.

Isondil smiles at the elf and asks in Elven were i can take Jenn to

Isondil carries Jenn after the elf

Lesharn has fallen asleep in a corner with a flute across his lap.

Kamrock laughs, and taking a small vial from his cloak, he drinks it and feels his arm.

Dynello falls asleep in the woods, amongst the faerie and the fey.

Shandor sighs, rubbing his temples, to find Ariea massaging them.

Shandor says, 'Now, everyone, go to sleep.'

Shandor thanks Ariea.

Skalf gets a barrel on his back.. walks up to his room and closes the door

Isondil comes back with the elf walking hand in hand smiling at Shandor and saying 'She will be fine'

Skalf later that night the singing of a dwarf could be heard

Kamrock watches as his arm mends.

Shandor nods.

Shandor turns to Kamrock, 'Go to bed.'

Isondil retakes a seat with the elf and continues talking

Kamrock smiles at Shandor, 'Not while that Dwarf still lives.'

Shandor rolls his eyes, 'You are a drunken old fool. Just go to bed.'

Shandor turns to Ariea and kisses her.

Shandor dances a quick, short, gracefully dance with her.

Kamrock laughs, 'Drunken, I haven't had a decent drink all night.'

Isondil smiles at the elf and here's her shrill laugh and is enchanted by it

Shandor barks, 'Stop laughing you fool and go to bed! Now.'

Isondil and shouts 'looks around who you calling a fool?'

Shandor says, 'Kamrock, who else..'

Kamrock laughs, 'I take my entire arsenal with me, can you have my shield fixed?'

Kamrock says, 'Never mind, I'll fix myself.'

Shandor says, 'I probably could, if I could be bothered... which I can't, but I might be if you GO TO BED.'

Isondil smiles and says ' ok'

Kamrock wanders off looking for a smithy.

Shandor says, 'You'll not find one open..'

Shandor takes Ariea's hand and leds her towards their house. 'Good night Isondil.'

Isondil smiles and say's ' goodnight'
