The 'Quest' II

Chapter I - Assassins and a wagon train

Organiser's Comment

Well, pretty good, a lot of whiners you guys are, I've discovered. If you ain't killin' somethin', you ain't happy! :P

Er, the next few sessions are of interest.

Plot Summary

The group have been reunited. Over a year after they fought at Tildruin, they have returned to the very location where the nightmare ended. On the very location where the winged beast emerged Faelnon stands, addressing the group. He explains that they are in pursuit of a stolen item of utmost importance, but doesn't state what it is. He calls a large wagon train into the marketplace where they are standing. It has several cabins and food and weapons wagons. The group climb aboard (after a warm welcome and general chit-chat interlude), the wagon train is off. Heading: Unknown, after an item that, too, is unknown to anyone except Shandor and Faelnon.
The group talk and explore the wagon for a few hours before settling down to get some rest. Night draws on and the drivers continue without rest. They ignore a few light thuds on the roofs, the last thing they do as their cadavers tumble from the 'train. The movement of several figures on the 'train awakens most of the group, who engage is fierce combat with them. Shandor goes to take over driving as Varadrion tries to keep Kalypse out of danger. The figures look defeated and Faelnon orders the others back to their cabins. He spots something dart between one of the wagons and calls Shandor to help.
Within seconds they have a unconscious and bound captive. This final figure, like the others, is wearing all black, with black cloth hoods. Faelnon removes this, revealing the features of a boy, aged no more than 18. He calls the others in and waits for the child to wake up. Finally he does, but before he reveals anything, bites into a seemingly false tooth, releasing a poison that killed him instantly. The group seem out of ideas, they check the figure, and find a piece of parchment telling them to head to Loldar.
The group talk or head to sleep, or devour Kalypse's fabulous pies before settling down to sleep.

<@Narrator> <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Now Presenting The 'Quest' II ~ Session I >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

<@Narrator> It is a glorious day in Tildruin. The sun shines brightly onto the city as a light breeze travels through it. The city is filled with the sounds of merchants, buyers and wagons with foreign wares pouring in. The grand monument to the original group stands proudly.

<@Narrator> Faelnon, Shandor, Ariea, Thor and Thinn stand next to it, in silence.

<@Narrator> The group are in a crowd just beyond them.

øùú Faelnon looks about the group and smiles.

øùú Faelnon notes a few familiar faces and decides to continue.

øùú Kalypse waves to everybody

øùú Dytalorien looks about and scratches his head, grinning at the familiar faces.

øùú Faelnon begins, 'Welcome my old friends, and hopefully new ones. As I'm sure you recall, we defeated the beast here over a year ago, but now I have called you again for a different task.'

øùú Faelnon starts to explain, 'I did not inform you of this, but myself, and my old group are members of an order called Cothin-Cal, we were set up to protect an item of utmost importance. Sadly, the item was stolen two weeks ago. We are here to retrieve it.'

øùú Shandor makes a mental note to mention to Faelnon his use of 'my old' group.

øùú Varadrion sighs

øùú Faelnon says, 'Fortunately, we have the direct aid of the Order of Cothin-Cal, which includes:' He whistles loudly.

øùú Laertus stares at the people around, not a single familiar face to him.

<@Narrator> From beyond the marketplace two rows of about fifteen horses in total, poured in, tied to them were more than a dozen wagons, all elegantly built, with luxurious decorations like golden handles. Each wagon seemed unnaturally large.

<@Narrator> In fact, the first wagon, one reserved for Faelnon, apparently, was large enough for a reasonable sized room with several chairs, chests and a desk, the wagon was divided in two (with use of a thin paper wall held up by wood), one 'living' area, and a small bedroom with a simple bed and chest.

<@Narrator> The rest of the wagons were of similar design, save the last two. One was for food storage, and the other held rows of basic weapons and armour.

øùú Rue is standing a bit apart from the group, arms crossed, listening intently. She smiles at the mention of the defeat of the beast, but her face becomes solemn at the mention of a new quest.

øùú Kalypse asks interested 'What kind of item?'

øùú Faelnon turns to Kalypse, 'We will get to that in due time, it is not a matter to be discussed in the open air.'

øùú Varadrion looks intently at the wagon of weapons

øùú Faelnon looks about the new faces, 'Hello there.'

øùú Faelnon approaches Laertus, 'Hail, I assume Shandor passed you and then obviously dragged you along? It seems to be his way.'

øùú Kalypse smiles 'He surely does those things..'

øùú Isondil stands talking to an elf dressed in black before nodding to him and watching him disappear into the crowds

øùú Shandor mumbles in a mocking voice and moves to inspect the outside of the wagon train.

øùú Kalypse turns to Laertus 'Greetings, my name is Kalypse.'

øùú Shandor is clad all in black. Black leather boots with silver buckles, jet-black pantaloons, black-leather cuirass over a black tunic. Tied around his neck is a black-velvet cape with red-wine coloured silk lining. His sword is concealed within a black sheath with a golden pattern running down it. It is the same outfit as what he wore last time he was the with the group and seems to have adopted it as his standard attire for any adventure.

øùú Laertus says, "Well, yes... Greeting to you all! I'm Laertus!"

øùú Isondil moves over to the group and smiles at them

øùú Dytalorien waves casually to Laertus.

øùú Cyria walks over to Laertus, "Hello, it is a pleasure to meet you, my name is Cyria."

øùú Kalypse greets Laertus once again 'Welcome to this crazy group!'

øùú Cyria smiles at Kalypse's comment

øùú Dytalorien chuckles, "Speak for yourself...watch out for flying cherries..."

øùú Laertus stares at everybody, a little bit confused.

øùú Faelnon chuckles slightly at Kalypse's comment while bowing in greetings to Laertus.

øùú Faelnon grins at Dytalorien's comment.

øùú Kalypse laughs at Dytalorien 'Don't even mention it.'

øùú Varadrion looks around, but doesn't talk to anyone

øùú Dytalorien grins, "I won't."

øùú Kalypse adds 'You are going to scare the new member of the group Dytalorien'

øùú Laertus bows to Faelnon.

øùú Faelnon makes a choking motion and stops, 'Oh sorry, I thought I was enduring an unpleasant fruit-related flashback.'

øùú Rue quietly nods to Laertus, trying not to add to the confusion.

øùú Faelnon grins at Kalypse, 'Well, one of us had to.'

øùú Cyria walks over to Shandor

øùú Dytalorien blinks, "Who, innocent ol' me?"

øùú Kalypse smiles

øùú Varadrion chuckles at Dytalorien

øùú Shandor nods at Cyria.

øùú Kalypse laughs 'If you are innocent, who is guilty?"

øùú Isondil smiles at Dytalorien

øùú Dytalorien coughs and refrains from further comment.

øùú Laertus steps away from the confusion, walking towards Rue.

øùú Kalypse smiles jokingly

øùú Cyria asks Shandor, "Are we missing anyone that you can see from the group?"

øùú Rue hears Cyria's comment and looks around, taking note that there are those who are missing.

øùú Shandor nods, 'Several, unfortunately.'

øùú Kalypse wonders where the others are

øùú Laertus wonders who the others are.

øùú Rue looks at Laertus. "Yes?"

øùú Shandor looks about and begins a list, 'Some have died, others are just not here, Enox for one of the missing.'

øùú Kalypse adds 'And Mihwen.'

øùú Cyria replies, "That’s a pity."

øùú Shandor nods.

øùú Isondil nods at Laertus but says nothing

øùú Dytalorien twirls his flute nonchalantly as he remarks, "I'm sure they'll join us eventually."

øùú Varadrion says "Of course."

øùú Kalypse smiles 'We are missing of a good healer...'

øùú Laertus answers to Rue, 'Hello! Is it always this confusing around here?'

øùú Rue smirks. "Most of the time it is."

øùú Kalypse turns to Laertus 'You have seen nothing yet, my friend.'

øùú Faelnon glares at Kalypse.

øùú Dytalorien chuckles, "Not to worry...we have Faelnon...or should we worry?"

øùú Rue chuckles at Dytalorien's comment.

øùú Kalypse laughs 'We should worry!'

øùú Dytalorien starts worrying and ducks.

øùú Isondil smiles

øùú Faelnon goes into defensive mode, 'I'll have you know none of my patients have ever complained about my healing abilities.... okay, to be fair, they are all dead, but at least they didn't complain.'

øùú Kalypse says 'Well, you have me, but I am not as good as Mihwen'

øùú Rue looks back to Laertus. "Fruit is not always for eating here."

øùú Kalypse laughs at Faelnon

øùú Varadrion smiles at Kalypse "You're more then good enough"

øùú Laertus smiles at Kalypse, 'Good, the way I like it!'

øùú Faelnon smiles at Rue and says, 'Especially if you ask Kalypse.'

øùú Kalypse blinks 'What?

øùú Laertus stares Rue, wondering what she meant with that.

øùú Isondil smiles at Kalypse and says ' At least we have one good healer'

øùú Faelnon says, 'Oh nothin' I'm just standin' here peacefully...'

øùú Cyria smiles jokingly, "Almost anything can be a weapon with Kalypse around."

øùú Faelnon looks up at the monument of the original group fighting.

øùú Kalypse looks surprised 'Aww I am hurt.... on the other hand.. I am a druid, I have nature on my size.. and it can be as harsh as protective'

øùú Laertus whistles a old tune.

<@Narrator> The large monument stands where the Dragon had first emerged, it depicts a member from each race (curiously there are two Elves, who bare an uncanny resemblance to Faelnon and Shandor, but they dismiss this), fighting against the dragon.

øùú Faelnon steps up to the monument and flicks the Dragon with his finger, 'Doesn't seem so tough.'

øùú Varadrion says "That’s not what you said the first time you saw it"

øùú Kalypse says 'I remember it... beautiful immense dragon.. so fearsome'

øùú Cyria says, "If it wasn't so tough why was most of the army destroyed?"

øùú Faelnon nods, 'And its corpse lies right beneath us.'

øùú Faelnon says, 'It took us by surprise.'

øùú Laertus listens and learns.

øùú Dytalorien grins, "They liked to fall down and pretend to be hurt?"

øùú Shandor enters his cabin-wagon and puts his weapons, armour and various other items away.

<@Narrator> Ariea disappears into her shop and returns laden with several baskets of herbs, spices and other vegetables.

øùú Cyria says, "I don't think you can pretend to be eaten or lit on fire"

<@Narrator> Ariea says, 'I thought these would be useful.'

øùú Faelnon says, 'Indeed they will be Ariea, thank you, there is a wagon near the back for food supplies.'

øùú Faelnon says, 'Well, you could try...'

øùú Faelnon says, 'I just hope we do not need such an army this time.'

øùú Dytalorien chuckles and grins, "Why do you mean...I developed great skills.. I pretended to enjoy Mihwen's cooking for our whole journey."

øùú Shandor grins at Dytalorien.

øùú Dytalorien ducks and looks for Mihwen in the crowd.

øùú Varadrion laughs

øùú Isondil smiles

øùú Dytalorien scratches his head, "Anyways, where were we?"

øùú Faelnon looks up at the sky, 'Oh, we really should get going. Climb aboard the 'train and claim a cabin for yourselves, if it isn't reserved for us important people.' He tries not to burst into laughter while stating the last part.

øùú Varadrion agrees "Indeed."

øùú Cyria laughs.

øùú Laertus inspects the statue of the dragon and the fighters.

øùú Varadrion walks up to a wagon and peers into it

øùú Rue takes one of the last cabins in the train without further question.

øùú Faelnon climbs up onto the wagon train and nods politely to the riding crew. He enters his wagon and takes a look around. He whistles appreciatively.

øùú Dytalorien enters the first vacant cabin he can find.

øùú Faelnon moves to the front of the wagon train and climbs onto the roof of the driver's cabin, 'Okay, could everyone please board the train if you haven't done so already.'

øùú Isondil follows Rue into a cabin

øùú Varadrion climbs into a cabin and sits down

øùú Laertus runs to a cabin, one that is empty, waiting for anyone to join him.

øùú Cyria walks into the cabin with Faelnon, "My we talk?"

øùú Laertus sits alone in one cabin, looking outside.

øùú Faelnon , who is currently perched on the roof of the driver's cabin spots Cyria and hears her request, 'Yes, of course, once we get going.'

øùú Faelnon calls, 'Everyone ready?'

øùú Faelnon says, 'We can get settled down after we get moving.'

øùú Dytalorien walks about the 'train and looks about.

øùú Shandor notes someone has left a double bed in his cabin.

øùú Varadrion looks around inside his wagon and removes his cloak

øùú Faelnon repeats his call, 'Is everyone ready to get moving?'

øùú Dytalorien shouts, "Yes, yes."

øùú Laertus 'Sure'

øùú Isondil takes his bow from off his shoulder and begins tightening the strings

øùú Varadrion pulls out his sword and lays it on a table in his cabin

øùú Faelnon turns and smiles, looking towards the edge of Tildruin, he calls down to the drivers, 'Okay, lets get going.'

<@Narrator> The wagon train begins rolling and heads out through the Tildruin gates onto a large dirt path.

øùú Rue places some of her belongings underneath her bed and looks out the window for a last glimpse of Tildruin. She shrugs and looks over at Isondil. "I guess we're stuck with each other, eh?" she jokes.

øùú Faelnon climbs down from the 'train and moves to where he last saw Cyria. He enters his cabin, 'You wanted to talk?'

øùú Dytalorien plops on his bed after removing his more burdensome equipment and yawns before closing his eyes.

øùú Cyria turns to Faelnon, "There is something that has been bothering me"

øùú Isondil smiles and says 'I guess so'

øùú Faelnon says, 'What?'

øùú Laertus takes a dagger from my pack and scratches the cabin, occupying his mind

øùú Rue looks at the bed next to her, glad that it ISN'T a bunk bed.

øùú Cyria says softly, "If it was only an item stolen, why do we need such a large group to recover it?"

øùú Rue pulls her knees to her chest and stares out the window. "I wonder where the ‘train is taking us...

øùú Faelnon says, 'It is an item of utmost importance. Besides, it seemed a fun thing to do, reuniting the group another time.' This second part seemed like a lie, Faelnon had not improved his lying skills since last they met.

øùú Isondil looks up and says ' Who really knows other than Faelnon and Shandor?’

øùú Cyria says, "You really should improve you lying skill Faelnon..."

øùú Faelnon nods, 'You are right. I actually hate you all. I committed a murder and decided to punish myself by trapping myself on a wagon train with you lot...... Okay, my lying really is that bad.'

øùú Laertus looks at the clear sky, wondering were the wagon is going.

øùú Shandor sorts out all his items into the chests provided.

øùú Isondil looks out the window thinking

øùú Cyria sighs, "Why do I even bother?"

øùú Varadrion moves up to the cabin with Isondil and Rue and steps in

<@Narrator> Ariea is stocking up the food storage wagon with her home-grown spices and herbs. Thor and Thinn meanwhile are groaning and whining at having to share a wagon together with only two very short and small bunks.

øùú Laertus takes a book and continue to read it

øùú Rue waves to Varadrion. "I see you've chosen not to speak with yourself like we find Faelnon doing from time to time?" she asks.

øùú Varadrion smiles and replies "You two are much better company then the ramblings in my head"

øùú Cyria says, "Well, I might as well go join the others in the back."

øùú Isondil nods to Varadrion and says 'Welcome'

øùú Varadrion bows to Rue and Isondil

øùú Kalypse says 'oh oops... I got distracted..'

øùú Faelnon returns to the drivers, he begins quizzing them about day-to-day things, where they came from and boring, yet polite, things like that.

øùú Kalypse pulls Faelnon from the drivers 'You haven't told us yet what we are supposed to find.'

øùú Cyria looks at the narrow bridges connecting the wagons and decides against leaving the cabin.

øùú Isondil stares out the window and yawns

øùú Faelnon says, 'Nor do I intend to, until the time is right. Which to Shandor is probably any time....'

øùú Kalypse asks 'And when might the right time be?'

øùú Rue takes out an apple and takes a small bite before putting it back.

øùú Faelnon shrugs and smiles, 'Uh, when we can see it?'

øùú Laertus almost sleeps, but the cabin shakes, making him knock his head on the wood, waking him up.

øùú Varadrion walks back to the food cabin and looks for something to eat

øùú Kalypse looks puzzled and annoyed at Faelnon but stays quiet.

øùú Cyria walks to Kalypse, "He has already lied to me about it, there is something they don't want us to know"

øùú Faelnon turns to Cyria, 'Technically I didn't lie about the actual item.'

øùú Kalypse turns her attention to Cyria 'They are all mysteries... I don't know why I am still here...'

øùú Dytalorien opens his eyes and yawns, before reequipping himself and strolling about the 'train.

øùú Shandor comes up to the drivers, 'So, how'd you get working on the 'train?'

øùú Rue puts her hair behind her long ears and sighs. "It's too quiet in here." she says, standing. "I think I'll go walk around. Are you coming?"

øùú Varadrion helps himself to a fairly large amount of food, before walking back to his cabin

øùú Faelnon corrects Shandor, 'Shouldn't you say 'wagon train'?'

øùú Shandor says, 'Ah, no I shouldn't, 'train can mean that I have excluded the wagon part, but still recognise it.'

øùú Isondil shakes his head and says 'No thanks.'

øùú Faelnon has the sudden temptation to slap Shandor upside the head.

øùú Dytalorien listens to the ongoing conversations as best he can as he paces about the enclosed space.

øùú Varadrion lies down on the bed in his cabin

øùú Faelnon says, 'Kalypse, life is full of mysteries.'

øùú Faelnon says, 'We just happen to have some odd ones...'

øùú Kalypse nods

øùú Isondil looks away from the window and turns to Rue and says 'Actually if you are going for a walk I think I will join you'

øùú Rue nods politely and steps outside the cabin. She looks at the bridges and wonders if she could reconsider.

øùú Isondil stands up and follows Rue

øùú Rue looks at Isondil. "Walking these bridges could prove to be a Quest in themselves."

øùú Kalypse sits down and stares the landscape outside thoughtfully

øùú Isondil smiles and says ' Ladies first '

øùú Shandor comes down to where Rue and Isondil are, easily jumps up into the air, seems to hover for a moment, and lands on the other wagon, the one Rue and Isondil are standing on.

øùú Laertus closes the book and looks at the sky - again.

øùú Rue looks at Shandor. "Now that's just cheating."

øùú Faelnon has followed and says, 'Don't think that was magic, this guy barely has enough to pull a rabbit out of his hat. He merely stopped moving as he was in the air while the wagon train continued moving.

øùú Kalypse falls to sleep while staring outside.

øùú Shandor sighs, 'Aww, I wanted to be known as a cheater, thanks a lot Faelnon.'

<@Narrator> Ariea emerges from the food-wagon, 'What was that about you cheating on someone, Shandor?' She smiles.

øùú Rue laughs at Ariea. "She's got keen ears Shandor."

øùú Shandor sighs, 'I'm just going to be quiet from now on.

øùú Faelnon grins, 'Good, that's all any of us wanted.'

øùú Isondil smiles

øùú Varadrion walks out of his cabin and joins Shandor and the group, he is curiously dress in a blue shirt and white pants

øùú Cyria decides to see what is going on in the other wagon and slowly starts to cross a bridge to the next wagon

øùú Dytalorien leans against a nearby wall in one of the cabins and yawns.

øùú Laertus sees Cyria entering his cabin, 'Hi!'

øùú Faelnon says, 'We are going to be travelling for at least a day, so, feel free to have something to eat or have a sleep.'

øùú Cyria says, "Hello Laertus"

øùú Laertus says, 'Any news where we're heading?'

øùú Rue looks over at the food wagon. "There's no fruit in there, is there?"

øùú Varadrion says to Faelnon "The dragon is dead, what new enemy could stand against what we did to that"

<@Narrator> Ariea smiles at Rue, 'But of course, freshly picked apples, oranges and several others.'

øùú Faelnon says, 'There is always more Evil to be fought.'

øùú Varadrion asks "More powerful then the dragon?"

øùú Rue chuckles.

øùú Faelnon adds, 'And much more powerful things.'

øùú Varadrion sighs

øùú Cyria shakes her head, "They have told me nothing Laertus"

øùú Faelnon returns to his cabin.

øùú Shandor tries his trick for crossing between cabins, this time he heads back the way he came, but forgets that the wagon train is moving that way too. He jumps up in the air, and ends up tumbling backwards and nearly falling of the 'train.'

øùú Laertus says, 'Ahh. What would be your name? I don't think I remember...'

øùú Rue nearly collapses as she laughs at Shandor. "I give that a ten!" she shouts.

øùú Cyria says, "My name is Cyria"

øùú Isondil returns to the cabin laughing at Rue's comment

øùú Shandor glares at Rue as he gets to his feet, 'I meant to do that... to erm.... to... to show the dangers of trying to do that the wrong way.'

øùú Laertus says, 'Right, I'll remember that. I suppose you are one of the old group...?'

øùú Rue smirks and enters the cabin as well. She sits back on the bed and again draws her knees up to her chest.

<@Narrator> Ariea grins at Shandor, 'Of course that's what you meant sweetie, you just go lie down and try not to embarrass yourself any more, okay?'

øùú Shandor returns to his cabin and gets a book to read.

øùú Rue stares down at her sword with a sigh.

øùú Faelnon returns to his cabin and sits on his bed.

øùú Isondil lies down on his bunk and thinks to himself

øùú Cyria turns and returns to her cabin

<@Narrator> OOC *smirks* Is everyone ready to zoom ahead with time by any chance?

<+Kalypse> ooc gees, we are still on the train... move it, Colm!

<+Rue> OOC AAHHH! No! *smacks Isondil* No bunks! In our cabin, it's two beds! i hate bunks...*shudder*

<+Laertus> ooc yes

<+Rue> ooc yes, lol

<+Isondil> ooc YOU got the bed!!!!!!!!!!!

<@Narrator> OOC What's that Rue? Ahhh No? Well, okay, We'll continue on then.

<+Rue> OOC No, there's two beds...Two.

<+Rue> OOC Bunk beds freak me out. It's like a phobia I swear.

<+Rue> OOC *glares at Colm*

<+Isondil> ooc ok have it your way

<+Rue> OOC Hehehe

<+Rue> OOC Yay! I get my way! Yuck...bunks. That and feet...eeew.

<+Rue> OOC I'm done...

<@Narrator> OOC Uh huh, 'a phobia' or are you just moving on from Querz? P

<@Narrator> OOC Jeesh, I am tired, that made less sence than my normal prattlings.

<@Narrator> OOC Anyway...

øùú Isondil rolls over on his 'bed'

<@Narrator> The wagons travel on for hours as it goes into night time.

øùú Rue looks at the bed and is again VERY glad that it IS NOT a bunk.

<@Narrator> During the night the drivers continue without sleep. With fatigue growing on them, they ignore several light thuds that come from behind. It is the last thing they ignore as their corpses tumble from the wagon train.

øùú Faelnon slowly comes awake as he hears a thud on his roof.

øùú Faelnon clambers out of bed and dons a simple outfit. He grabs a small short sword with a bronze hilt and he heads to the door of his cabin.

øùú Faelnon prods the door open as a silhouette leaps from the roof of his wagon onto that of Shandor's.

øùú Rue looks up, having never fallen asleep. The first thud rattles her, and she quietly stands and peers outside, careful not to wake Isondil.

øùú Faelnon groans inwardly, 'One normal night, one! All that I ask, I hope the group are okay.'

øùú Faelnon sneaks around to the side of Shandor's wagon and raps his window lightly.

øùú Laertus is sleeping, still.

øùú Shandor groans in annoyance and he wakes up sitting in the chair that he had been reading in. He stands up and goes to the window, he slides it open to reveal Faelnon's face, while removing the shutters, 'Good-' he looks up at the night sky, 'Mid-night?'

øùú Faelnon says, 'Atchway, nemyeay noay oofray.'

øùú Shandor rubs his eyes in fatigue, 'Why are you speaking in another language?'

øùú Rue looks at Faelnon and, seeing that he is looking up, she looks up as well, sighs with disgust as she sees the shadow.

øùú Rue goes back in the cabin and shakes Isondil lightly.

øùú Faelnon rolls his eyes and points to the roof before making a slashing motion with his sword.

øùú Shandor nods, not entirely sure, but taking a good stab at what Faelnon was talking about it, before taking his sword from a chest. He goes to the door and goes to open it-

øùú Faelnon raps the window frantically.

øùú Isondil looks around and sees Rue come into focus and says 'Wassammaatter?'

øùú Faelnon reports, 'The figure is over your door, I have a plan, afterwards you raise the group.'

øùú Rue sighs. "I'm not sure. But there is a shadow on the roof, and I'm pretty sure that it's an -ominous- shadow."

øùú Faelnon hits the side of the cabin as hard as he can with the hilt of his blade.

øùú Faelnon , as quickly as possible, jumps down from the wagon train and ducks underneath Shandor's wagon, clinging onto it.

<@Narrator> A figure moves to where Faelnon was. He jumps down and stands next to the window, scratching his head.

øùú Shandor lunges forward with his sword, through the open window and into the figure's throat.

<@Narrator> The figure growls, gurgles and screeches as he tumbles off the wagon train.

øùú Isondil gets up and takes his bow and quiver and says 'Where?'

øùú Rue hears the screech. "I think that was it."

øùú Varadrion tosses and turns in his bed

øùú Faelnon gets up, 'Oh that was discreet, on second thought, you go and check on the drivers, I'll get the group.'

øùú Laertus scratches head, and move, but still sleeping.

øùú Rue goes out to the bridge and watches the figure hit the ground

øùú Rue points. "There it went."

øùú Faelnon clambers up onto the roof of Shandor's cabin and crouches down so he doesn't fall over.

øùú Cyria rolls out of her bed and lands on the wagon floor with a thud

øùú Isondil nods and follows Rue

øùú Faelnon jumps from Shandor's cabin to the next one, banging on its roof he thinks, 'I hope the group remember the alarm signal, the one I just… thought… up… oh.', before moving onto the next one and doing the same thing and so on.

øùú Faelnon mutters, 'I wonder if there are any more attackers.'

øùú Varadrion awakes to a banging on his roof

øùú Shandor hollers from the driver's cabin for help. In front of him lie three or four figures, the others are moving steadily further down the wagon train. The figures are clad in pure black, they have a cloth hood shielding their faces. No-one is driving the wagon train.

øùú Cyria gets up and yawns

øùú Laertus wakes up, hearing lots of noises, 'But it's night still!'

øùú Faelnon sprints towards the driver's wagon, but runs into two figures heading backwards. He swipes with his sword at the first of the two.

øùú Varadrion grabs his sword and daggers and climbs onto the roof of the train

øùú Shandor notices a figure trying to cut the reigns to the horses, he is crouched over and facing away from Shandor. Shandor kicks the figure forward, who then falls under the wagon train with a drowned out scream.

øùú Shandor takes over driving the 'train.

øùú Isondil scrambles to the top of the wagon and looks around

øùú Rue goes back inside and grabs her sword.

øùú Cyria throws an a robe and walks out of her cabin wondering what is going on

øùú Varadrion chases after Faelnon down the train

øùú Faelnon ducks a lunge and sweeps his leg forward, knocking one of the figures down.

øùú Rue runs towards the front of the train, nearly running into Cyria.

øùú Faelnon goes to stab the figure when his friend tackles Faelnon to the walkway surrounding each wagon.

øùú Isondil fit's an arrow unto his bow and looks around warily

øùú Laertus opens the window, and looks to the other wagons.

øùú Cyria falls over, "Rue, what’s going on?"

øùú Varadrion sees a figure on top of Kalypse's cabin and runs towards it

øùú Laertus gets his staff, and go to where Cyria and Rue are.

øùú Rue offers her hand to Cyria. "I’m not sure. There was a creature, and I can hear fighting from here. Do you have a weapon?"

øùú Faelnon kicks frantically and accidentally knocks both figures off the 'train.

øùú Rue smiles at Laertus. "This is where the crazy starts."

øùú Varadrion grabs the figure and throws it down on the roof, it isn't one of the group

øùú Kalypse shouts 'Who are those people?'

øùú Faelnon dashes up to the drivers area, there is only Shandor there now.

øùú Laertus says, 'Good, but... what's happening?'

øùú Varadrion shouts down to Kalypse "Get up on the roof"

øùú Faelnon hollers, 'Does anyone see anymore?'

øùú Rue shakes her head. "We're not sure yet."

øùú Cyria proceeds to tear off the bottom part of her robe so she can run and answers, "I won't need one"

øùú Kalypse quickly jumps up to the roof

øùú Varadrion looks at the figure for a moment, before finishing it with a dagger and throwing it off the roof

øùú Isondil jumps back down and runs through the next cabin

øùú Faelnon looks about, 'I don't see anymore...'

øùú Varadrion runs towards the front of the train and motions for Kalypse to follow

øùú Laertus looks at something at the floor, passing by

øùú Kalypse follows Varadrion

øùú Cyria hears everyone on the roof and proceeds to climb up

øùú Faelnon says, 'Everyone, make sure there is no-one still here who shouldn't be and make your way back to your cabins.'

øùú Rue drums her fingers on the hilt of her sword, still ready.

øùú Isondil moves slowly towards the front of the train

øùú Varadrion draws a dagger and begins to walk slowly back to his cabin

øùú Varadrion says to Kalypse "Heavy sleeper?"

øùú Faelnon thinks he sees a shadow darting about behind the drivers cabin he ducks out of sight and whispers to Shandor, 'Leave the horses for a moment, I need help with a plan.’

øùú Rue shivers and turns around.

øùú Kalypse replies 'Not really.. I was just tired..'

øùú Shandor nods and releases the reigns.

øùú Cyria notices everyone is going back to their cabin, and angrily climbs back off the roof.

øùú Varadrion nods and smiles. "Guess we can go back to sleep now"

øùú Faelnon sneaks around the side of the driver's wagon (or rather, no-one's seeming as the drivers are dead).

øùú Isondil walks back to his cabin

øùú Rue is still by Cyria's cabin door. "No way I'm going to sleep tonight" she half-jokes.

øùú Varadrion sees the body of one of the men lying on top of his cabin, he searches it, but finds nothing, and throws it over the side

øùú Laertus goes back to his cabin too, but notices that his stuff was searched. 'Strange...'

øùú Faelnon pops around the corner and comes face to face with one last figure ‘Hi there, my name’s Faelnon, yours?’. The figure spins on his heel and heads to the other side when-

<@Narrator> Wham! A fist juts out, catching the figure in the jaw, knocking him out.

øùú Cyria says, "I think it would be best to sleep in the same room with someone on guard"

øùú Shandor comes into view, rubbing his fist, 'Ahh, I haven't punched anyone in at least a month, it feels great.'

øùú Isondil enters the cabin and looks around slowly

øùú Shandor prods the figure with the tip of his boot, 'Who is he?'

øùú Varadrion sits down on top of his cabin and looks around

øùú Faelnon says, 'That's what we are going to find out. Help me get him to my cabin.'

øùú Rue motions towards her cabin. "You can sleep in my cabin if you want. There's no way I'll sleep."

øùú Rue continues. "I'll just sit in a chair or something."

øùú Laertus gets to Varadrion's cabin and says, 'Anyone searched trough your stuff?'

øùú Varadrion peeks down from the roof and says "Not that I know of"

øùú Faelnon picks up the figure with Shandor's aid and moves to his cabin. He sets the figure down and grabs a blanket, tearing it to shreds and tying it very tightly to the figures arms, legs and neck.

øùú Isondil sits down on his bed and places his quiver and bow on the bed beside him

øùú Cyria says, "I guess you could keep watch then Rue"

øùú Faelnon says, 'Now you can get the others, I'm in the interrogation mood tonight.'

øùú Laertus says, 'My cabin was a mess when I got back, but still nothing was stolen...'

øùú Varadrion says to him "I wonder what they were looking for then"

øùú Shandor leaves Faelnon's cabin and starts shouting, 'Could we all please make our way to Faelnon's cabin, we need to check everyone is okay. We have one prisoner.'

øùú Rue walks past Cyria. "You know where my room is. I'll be back. I have some questions to ask."

øùú Rue walks towards the front of the train.

øùú Cyria heads down toward Rue's cabin

øùú Faelnon taps his foot patiently waiting for the others.

øùú Laertus says, 'Are you alone here? If so, we should take turns, for night watch...'

øùú Varadrion hops up and walks toward the cabin, still wearing nothing but the pants he slept in, and was awakened in

øùú Isondil stands up quickly hearing someone calling and walks to the front of the train

øùú Laertus walks to Faelnon's cabin.

øùú Varadrion says to Laertus "sounds good, but lets go to Faelnon's cabin first"

øùú Laertus says, 'Sure.'

øùú Rue stands, arms crossed in front of Faelnon.

øùú Cyria sighs and turns around to Faelnon’s cabin

øùú Faelnon nods to Rue.

øùú Varadrion stands at the edge of Faelnon's cabin, and watches

øùú Laertus sits at the floor, at Faelnon's cabin.

øùú Isondil reaches Faelnon's cabin

øùú Rue looks at the figure. "Is this a run-of-the-mill evil attacker, or does this have something to do with the item we now seek?"

øùú Faelnon says, 'I'm guessing it is that one.'

øùú Rue raises an eyebrow. "Which one?"

øùú Faelnon removes the hood the tied-up figure was wearing. It reveals a human face, young, no older than eighteen.

øùú Varadrion says "Just a kid"

øùú Rue frowns at the figure, and then shivers.

øùú Faelnon nods, 'A very knocked out kid who is going to have a swollen jaw when he comes to.'

øùú Cyria stares in surprise

øùú Cyria says, "Why would someone so young attack us?"

øùú Faelnon says, 'Why indeed.'

øùú Faelnon notices a medallion around the figure's neck. He takes it off and looks at it, 'I don't recognise it.'

øùú Laertus stares the kid. 'Anyone got their cabin searched up?'

øùú Faelnon looks about the cabin they are all standing in, his, 'No I don't think so, why, was yours?'

øùú Varadrion says "Probably just some kids with no better way to make money"

øùú Faelnon nods, 'Quite possible.'

øùú Laertus says, 'Yes, mine was... but nothing was stolen...'

øùú Kalypse watches what’s happening quietly

øùú Faelnon says, 'Hmm, I don't know why they'd be searching for anything, if they are who I think they are they already have the most important piece. Of course, they could have just been searching for bonuses.'

øùú Isondil looks at the kid with an expression with mixed shock and disgust

øùú Rue stares at the figure, eyes glittering. "If it was a group of kids, why would they go to so much trouble to attack us?"

øùú Varadrion says "Piece of what?"

øùú Rue 's eyes dart up to meet Faelnon's. "who do you think they are?"

øùú Laertus says, 'Yes, that seems more... hey, what important piece?'

øùú Cyria says, "Kids who were almost as skilled as professional assassins, it doesn't make sense"

<@Narrator> Thor and Thinn burst into the wagon, 'What the Tarkna is going on?!' Thor hollers, 'I've been trying to get some ruddy sleep and everyone makes all this noise!'

øùú Varadrion says to Cyria "Those kids were not professional assassins, far too loud for one thing."

øùú Faelnon looks at Varadrion, 'A piece of this game, well, if you can see this whole quest as a game. And yes, they were too loud.'

øùú Cyria says, "You only woke up one Faelnon started to jump on the roof"

øùú Faelnon looks at Rue, 'I am not sure, either some of the original thieves, or people paid by the person who stole It.'

øùú Faelnon nods, 'But I woke up when they landed on my roof.'

øùú Varadrion says to Cyria "They were caught, if they were professional, we wouldn't be standing here"

øùú Faelnon states, 'Besides, when Shandor and I ambushed this one, he had the perfect opportunity to slice my throat open, but instead tried to run for it.'

øùú Cyria turns and walks out knowing she lost the argument

øùú Varadrion says softly "It was still the more intelligent thing to do, at least from where he was standing."

øùú Faelnon taps his foot impatiently before reaching over and slapping the figure around the face, 'Wake up, I'm getting tired.'

øùú Rue frowns and shakes her head. "They're not just kids. It wouldn't make sense..."

øùú Varadrion says "Are we needed here? I think it would be best if we got some sleep"

øùú Faelnon thinks for a moment and smirks evilly, 'I wonder would the flesh-eating ants of Tarkna wake him up?'

øùú Cyria lies down on her bed, looking at the ceiling

øùú Varadrion looks to Rue and says "A rich looking wagon train with no visible guards? It makes perfect sense, they were probably hoping for some easy money"

øùú Faelnon says, 'Rue, it would if you led such a poor life, the thought of being in something like this would seem like paradise.'

øùú Faelnon says, 'Well, you not needed per se, I just thought you would be interested in anything he has to say when he comes to.'

øùú Rue crosses her arms. "Still..."

øùú Faelnon says, 'I think so.'

<@Narrator> The figure groans slightly.

øùú Varadrion sighs "I'll stay then"

øùú Faelnon smirks, 'A ha!' He proceeds to slap the figure again.

<@Narrator> 'Wha-' The figure moaned, opening his eyes, 'huh?'

øùú Faelnon sighs, 'That is of course, if he were ever taught common tongue.'

øùú Faelnon notices how dark it is in the room and lights a couple of candles.

øùú Varadrion says "Just get what we need out of him"

<@Narrator> The figure now looks terrified, 'Who-who are you?'

øùú Faelnon smiles, 'Ah, so you can talk?'

øùú Rue glares down at the figure,

øùú Varadrion remains uninterested

øùú Faelnon says, 'Now, in case you were never taught this, trying to kill us all is not a very friendly thing to do, so, you are going to tell us who sent you, where you were sent from, and where It is.'

<@Narrator> The figure looks totally panicked.

øùú Kalypse just pays attention to the questioning realizing she cant do much to help

øùú Faelnon says, 'Answers, now.'

øùú Varadrion says "Pull out a weapon, or fire, or something, he’s just a kid, scare it out of him"

øùú Cyria hearing the conversation, she heads to Faelnon’s cabin

<@Narrator> The figure looks desperately at each of the group, before trying his bonds, but he can't break them. His eyes go wide, he is terrified of what he is about to do.

<@Narrator> He grits his teeth painfully loudly.

øùú Faelnon says, 'What are you doing?'

øùú Varadrion raises an eyebrow

<@Narrator> The boy's eyes go wide and white. He begins gurgling and flailing in his seat. A small trickle of blood runs down from his mouth and he stops moving, dead.

øùú Faelnon looks at the child, shocked.

øùú Varadrion sighs "Great"

øùú Kalypse blinks

øùú Cyria looks into the cabin

øùú Kalypse asks 'What just happened here?'

øùú Varadrion turns to walk out of the cabin but waits a moment

øùú Faelnon cuts the bonds and looks at him, his mouth is slightly agape. 'What's this? Varadrion, bring that candle closer.'

øùú Varadrion takes a candle and brings it up

øùú Faelnon takes the candle off Varadrion and thanks him, he puts it near the child's mouth, 'There is a fake tooth here, it held some kind of liquid poison, I'm guessing.'

øùú Varadrion looks at the human, mutters "Coward" and walks out

øùú Cyria mutters, "He shouldn't be one to talk"

øùú Varadrion walks back in, fully dressed

øùú Faelnon notices something in the dead-boy's robe.

øùú Faelnon picks it up, it is a small piece of parchment.

øùú Faelnon calls Shandor over.

øùú Faelnon two discuss quietly for a moment, reading the parchment without a sound.

øùú Varadrion raises an eyebrow again

øùú Cyria says, "Well, what does it say?"

øùú Isondil looks over at Faelnon and Shandor with mild interest

øùú Faelnon turns to Cyria, 'It says simply, "Kill them. Meet Muthrid, Loldar.". So I guess we go there next.'

øùú Varadrion looks at the body and says "What do you plan on doing with that?"

øùú Faelnon says, 'I suppose he deserves a decent burial, unless you have other plans.

øùú Faelnon hears the someone call.

øùú Varadrion says "Not to disrespect the dead, but he did try to kill us"

øùú Isondil looks around.

øùú Faendalos , an elf, rides up on a horse and calls out, "Is something wrong?"

øùú Faelnon grabs a candle and goes outside, 'Hello? Not really, just a little bit of trouble from thugs.'

øùú Faelnon can just about make out the figure in the moon light, aided by the candle, 'Hail, friend or foe?'

øùú Faendalos calls out, "I am Faendalos, a friend, and an Elven ranger."

øùú Faelnon bows, 'Greetings Faendalos, have you encountered any problems?'

øùú Faelnon calls those still awake to come out and greet Faendalos

øùú Kalypse walks out to see the fellow elf

øùú Isondil walks out slowly

øùú Kalypse waves to the stranger 'It is a pleasure to meet you, sir..'

øùú Faendalos tells Faelnon, "I encountered a small problem, but I made short work of him."

øùú Kalypse adds 'My name is Kalypse.'

øùú Cyria turns to Faendalos, "Hello there, my name is Cyria"

øùú Faelnon nods, 'Would you like to come on board? You could get some food and a rest.'

øùú Faendalos says, "I pleasure to meet you too, Kalypse."

øùú Faelnon realises he has never introduced himself, 'Sorry, where are my manners? I am Faelnon, an elven Healer from A'lure.'

øùú Faendalos answers Faelnon, "Yes, rest sounds good."

øùú Isondil turns to the newcomer and bows and says 'hi my name is Isondil'

øùú Kalypse jokes 'Don't trust his healing abilities'

øùú Faelnon nods, 'Excellent,' He turns to Shandor, who is staring at the corpse, 'Shandor, could you get Faendalos' horse set up with the others. Faendalos,' He reaches out his arm, 'Climb aboard.'

øùú Faendalos says, "Thanks."

øùú Faelnon says, 'Kalypse, could you make sure Faendalos here gets a bit to eat and show him one of the spare beds, please.'

øùú Kalypse nods 'Certainly... follow me, Faendalos'

øùú Isondil climbs back aboard the train and heads back towards his and Rue's cabin

øùú Faendalos answers, "Okay", and follows

øùú Cyria turns from the group and heads back to her cabin

øùú Shandor takes Faendalos' horse, jumps onto it and rides it up to where the others are, adding it to the collection of now-trotting horses.

øùú Kalypse leads Faendalos to her cabin to find something for him to eat

øùú Faendalos calls out to Shandor as he leaves, "Take care of my horse, she's valuable."

øùú Faelnon goes into his cabin and kneels down beside the corpse, he closes the corpse's eyes, shielding the pure-white eye. 'Foolish boy...'

øùú Shandor calls back, 'Will do!'

øùú Kalypse takes out a pot from her bag 'I hope you like apple pies, Faendalos'

øùú Faendalos answers, "Sounds great, I'm starving."

øùú Kalypse smiles 'Great... I will see if any of the others want later.. I will show you where you can rest'

<@Narrator> Ariea emerges from Shandor's and her cabin, 'We have a new arrival?' She asks to the night sky, realising no-one is nearby, she heads to where she last heard voices.

øùú Shandor climbs back on board the 'train.

øùú Shandor is collared by Faelnon and brought into Faelnon's cabin, 'Why is that corpse still here? Why don't you just throw it off?'

øùú Faelnon says, 'I don't see how you can be so cold-hearted, like Varadrion.'

øùú Shandor says, 'You said it yourself, if he had any skill as an assassin you would be the corpse, not him. I doubt he would have buried your corpse.'

øùú Shandor says, 'Just throw him off the 'train, all the others went the same way.'

øùú Faelnon says, 'I just refuse to do th- What's happening to it?' Faelnon points to the corpse that seems to be dissolving into the wooden floor.

øùú Varadrion walks back into the cabin Faelnon and Shandor are in

øùú Shandor looks at the wooden floor where the corpse used to be, 'An after-effect of the poison?' He asks, not just a little perturbed by it.

øùú Varadrion looks at the floor "What happened to him?"

øùú Faelnon shrugs, 'He just.... dissolved through the floor.'

øùú Faelnon says, 'It might have been an after effect of the poison.'

øùú Varadrion replies "That’s just slightly disturbing"

øùú Shandor shrugs, 'Well, I'm sleepy, good night all.' He makes for the door.

øùú Faelnon grabs Shandor, 'Nuh uh, not so fast, we need someone to drive this thing.'

øùú Kalypse points a vacant cabin to Faendalos 'you should rest... you look tired'

øùú Kalypse blinks as Faendalos turns his back on her

øùú Faendalos decides not to go to sleep but instead wanders around looking for some other people

øùú Shandor says, 'You're awake.'

øùú Faelnon nods, 'But I have to research this... um, posion, and the parchment for any other, more subtle clues. I'll trade places with you in a few hours.'

øùú Shandor moans, 'You'd better, or there'll be another assassin prowling about...'

øùú Faendalos tells Kalypse, "I'm not tired."

øùú Varadrion chuckles softly "Another non-professional one." and smiles at Shandor

øùú Shandor goes off to the drivers seat and picks up the reigns.

øùú Shandor calls, 'I heard that...'

øùú Kalypse nods slowly 'I... should go find the others...'

øùú Varadrion laughs and replies "I know." Before heading off to bed

øùú Faelnon says, 'We should have something to eat, or sleep, whatever.'

øùú Kalypse walks back to where the group is

øùú Faendalos says, "Me too...", and follows

øùú Varadrion rubs his stomach "I'm starving"

øùú Kalypse shouts happily 'Here!'

øùú Kalypse smiles 'Guess I arrived just in time... apple pie anyone?'

øùú Faelnon smiles at Kalypse, 'I'm just on my way to the food-wagon, you are welcome to join.'

øùú Faelnon smiles, 'Then again, you could offer me apple pie.'

øùú Varadrion smiles at Kalypse and says "Please."

øùú Faelnon says, 'Thank you.'

øùú Faelnon yawns, 'Or please, rather... my etiquette goes out the window at this late hour.'

øùú Kalypse says 'You are welcome... glad it's not a cherry pie, huh, Faelnon..hehe'

øùú Faelnon chuckles.

øùú Varadrion smiles at the joke

øùú Faendalos spots Shandor sitting reluctantly behind the reigns and asks, "Do you want me to drive?"

øùú Ariea pokes open the door to Faelnon's cabin, 'Did I hear pie being mentioned? Apple pie in particular?'

øùú Kalypse waves happily to Ariea 'you want some?'

øùú Kalypse hands Ariea a slice of the pie

<@Ariea> Shandor shakes his head, 'No, no, its okay. It gives me more ways to plan Faelnon's death.' He laughs, 'But seriously, you should go find the others; I'll be fine.'

øùú Ariea nods to Kalypse, 'I would love some, thank you.'

øùú Faendalos leaves Shandor and heads back to the others

øùú Ariea takes a bite out of the pie, 'Mmmmm, gorgeous, just like my cousin used to make them. So-' She takes another bite, '-where's Shandor?'

øùú Faelnon says, 'I roped him into driving.'

øùú Faendalos asks everyone, "Do you want some venison? I have a little in my pack, and it sure beats apple pies."

øùú Isondil rolls over in his bed

øùú Kalypse smiles at Ariea 'I made that one myself..'

øùú Ariea moans, 'Oh gee, thanks, now I'll never get to sleep, I just know I'll be on the verge of sleeping and he'll come stumbling in.'

øùú Ariea smiles at Faendalos, 'Nothing could beat these apple pies, just lovely.'

øùú Varadrion smiles and asks Kalypse for a piece

øùú Kalypse gives Varadrion a piece

øùú Varadrion thanks her and begins eating slowly

øùú Faelnon grins at Kalypse, 'Looks like you'll run out of apple pie before you know it if you aren't careful.'

øùú Faelnon takes a large bite out of his slice.

øùú Kalypse says 'I know, Faelnon, but I don't mind... I am happy that you all liked it..'

øùú Faelnon says, 'I'm sorry I ever doubted your cooking skills. I am not sorry that the pie isn't cherry, though.'

øùú Kalypse blinks

øùú Cyria wakes up from her light sleep

øùú Kalypse says 'You did not know me then too well, Faelnon..'

øùú Faelnon says, 'Well then, now that we are getting details sorted out; I am a good Healer.' He smiles.

øùú Faendalos says, "and I'm a good archer."

øùú Varadrion smiles and says "And I'm.... I'm myself"

øùú Faelnon says, 'An archer? You will come in useful if you wish to journey with us.'

øùú Faelnon grins at Varadrion, 'I knew there could be no other explanation.'

øùú Varadrion chuckles and says "My skills are not to be talked about over food"

øùú Cyria walks towards the cabin the group is in

øùú Faendalos doses off and his head falls to the table with a thud

øùú Kalypse says 'Varadrion is a..hmm.. good friend who keeps dragging me around when I am confused in the middle of the fight

øùú Faelnon smiles, 'Has he replaced Mihwen?'

øùú Varadrion laughs

øùú Kalypse laughs

øùú Faelnon grins.

øùú Faelnon notices he still has the piece of parchment in his pocket from the dead-boy.

øùú Faelnon looks at the parchment and is momentarily disturbed to find the handwriting.... familiar? He tucks it away in a chest before returning to his pie.

øùú Faendalos turns to Faelnon and asks, "What is that?"

øùú Faelnon says dismissively, 'Nothing of great importance, just telling us where we have to go next. If there is a bit of venison going I would have it, please.'

øùú Faendalos says, "Sure", and hands him a piece

øùú Faelnon turns to Kalypse, 'You and Lesharn should have a pastry cooking match, I think it would be quite entertaining.'

øùú Kalypse says 'Me? Competing cooking with a halfling? You must be joking..'

øùú Ariea slaps Faelnon around the shoulder playfully, 'Aw leave them alone. Besides, everyone knows my pastries would beat everyone's.'

øùú Kalypse laughs

øùú Faelnon stifles his laughter at Ariea's comment, before turning to Kalypse, 'Well, if that's what you insist.'

øùú Kalypse says 'hmm.. wouldn’t be that bad though... if he wanted'

øùú Faendalos says for no reason at all, "Pastries are no good, you need protein for strength."

øùú Faelnon grins at Kalypse, 'I'll have to let him know.'

øùú Ariea says, 'Pastries are great! I had loads when I was a kid and I turned out great.'

øùú Kalypse laughs 'Or maybe I should just keep my mouth shut'

øùú Faelnon grins, 'I think Ariea has just proved why pastries should not be eaten.'

øùú Kalypse chuckles

øùú Ariea smiles, 'Hey!' Before slapping Faelnon around the head gently.

øùú Laertus states, 'I'm hungry. Isn't there any meat? Ahh, probably not...'

øùú Faelnon grins, 'See, all those pastries means she can't slap someone with strength.'

øùú Kalypse says 'Faendalos has some'

øùú Ariea says, 'Oh yeah?' before whacking him around the back of the head.

øùú Faelnon mumbles, 'Ow...', rubbing his head.

øùú Faendalos tells Laertus, "I have venison if you want some."

øùú Laertus stares Faendalos, 'Sure, I'm starving...'

øùú Faendalos hands him a piece and says, "It might be tough because its jerky."

øùú Laertus says, while gnawing at the jerky venison, 'Good enough! Thanks!'

øùú Faelnon yawns loudly, even through he tries to be discreet.

øùú Ariea says, 'How long 'til sunrise?'

øùú Faelnon shrugs, 'Four hours at best.'

øùú Laertus gets some herbs at his pockets, mix 'em with water and then drinks it with the venison. 'This way is better.'´

øùú Kalypse turns to the door 'Excuse me, friends... I must sleep... '

øùú Faelnon nods to Kalypse, 'Good night.'

øùú Faelnon yawns again, 'Actually, sleep seems quite a wise option.'

øùú Kalypse smiles while walking out 'Good night.. sweet dreams you all' and makes her way to her cabin

øùú Laertus gazes Kalypse and says 'Good night, take care...'

øùú Faelnon goes to leave when he stops, 'What am I doing? This is my cabin, you lot should clear out,' He grins.

øùú Laertus ends eating the food and states that he is tired too. 'See you all in some hours...'

øùú Faendalos walks out of the room quietly and sits outside watching the stars

øùú Faelnon says, 'Good night, have a good sleep, nice meeting you, more fun times ahead, good to see some new faces and some old ones. Buh bye.' With that spiel over he falls into his bed regardless if anyone is still in his room or not.

<@Narrator> <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< The 'Quest' II ~ Session I is over! Congratulations for making it this far >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

'The Best of the Rest'

øùú Faelnon approaches Laertus, 'Hail, I assume Shandor passed you and then obviously dragged you along? It seems to be his way.'

øùú Kalypse adds 'You are going to scare the new member of the group Dytalorien'

øùú Faelnon grins at Kalypse, 'Well, one of us had to.'

Well, I tried to avoid the temptation in the ‘Quest’ II, but these are the logs:

øùú Kalypse wonders where the others are

øùú Laertus wonders who the others are.

øùú Faelnon wonders what the others are.

øùú Shandor wonders why the others are.

øùú Kalypse smiles 'We are missing of a good healer...'

øùú Dytalorien chuckles, "Not to worry...we have Faelnon...or should we worry?"

øùú Kalypse laughs 'We should worry!'

øùú Faelnon goes into defensive mode, 'I'll have you know none of my patients have ever complained about my healing abilities.... okay, to be fair, they are all dead, but at least they didn't complain.'

<+Kalypse> ooc oh come on...

<+Rue> OOC Well...THAT wasn't gloating at ALL.!

<+Kalypse> ooc pfft

<@Narrator> OOC What can I say? Shandor and Faelnon suffer from some egotistical qualities.

<+Kalypse> ooc definitely ;-)

<@Narrator> OOC Watch it, I can carve the face of Kalypse or Rue onto that dragon's face :P

<+Rue> OOC Did they have spray paint in Tildruin?

<+Rue> OOC *evil giggle*

øùú Faelnon says, 'Indeed they will be Ariea, thank you, there is a wagon at the back for food supplies.'

øùú Isondil follows Rue into the last cabin

<@Narrator> OOC Isondil, you want to live in the food or weapons storage wagon? Um, okay...

Speaking of, why are you following Rue into her cabin? Can’t you see she is still trying to get over her and Querz? *Expects to be attacked as soon as Rue or Awnro sees this*

<@Narrator> OOC I'm so sorry Rue. Poor, Rue, stuck with Isondil, I'll build you another wagon ;)

<@Dytalorien> OOC Repeats his chant "Now, now, be nice".

øùú Rue looks at the bed next to her, glad that it ISN'T a bunk bed.

<+Rue> OOC I have a thing with bunks...

<+Rue> OOC lol

<@Narrator> OOC Lorien, you've never come to a 'Quest' before have you? Or to #tildruin for that matter :P

<@Dytalorien> OOC Nope, I remain joyfully idealistic.

<+Varadrion> ooc or naive...

<@Dytalorien> OOC I'll repeat, joyfully idealistic. P

<+Varadrion> ooc lol )

<+Cyria> ooc lol

<@Narrator> OOC Lorien... er... what's your opinion on Santa Claus? )

<@Dytalorien> OOC He's the nice man that gave me presents of 'course. ^-^

<+Rue> OOC *closes her eyes* Santa is real...Santa is real...Santa is real...

<+Varadrion> ooc quest Colm…

<@Narrator> OOC Pfft, the last thing you said was 4 minutes ago and since then you've made 3 OOC comments :P

<+Varadrion> ooc me? I’m alone in a cabin, what do u want, my life story P

<+Rue> OOC *gasps at the scandal*

<@Narrator> OOC Well, you could be normal like me and start talking to yourself P

<+Varadrion> ooc pass, lol

<+Isondil> ooc lol

øùú Faelnon says, 'It is an item of utmost importance. Besides, it seemed a fun thing to do, reuniting the group another time.' This second part seemed like a lie, Faelnon had not improved his lying skills since last they met.

øùú Cyria says, "You really should improve you lying skill Faelnon..."

øùú Faelnon nods, 'You are right. I actually hate you all. I committed a murder and decided to punish myself by trapping myself on a wagon train with you lot...... Okay, my lying really is that bad.'

øùú Rue waves to Varadrion. "I see you've chosen not to speak with yourself like we find Faelnon doing from time to time?" she asks.

<@Narrator> OOC lol, Faelnon never spoke to himself, I'm not sure about Shandor and EvilShandor, they might have had a commentary...

<+Rue> OOC Faelnon spoke to himself in my world.

<+Rue> OOC And we all know that Ashli's world and the real world have nothing to do with each other.

<+Rue> OOC It'd be hard to join now, Jim...unless you're a bandit on horseback.

<+Rue> OOC Which WOULD be funny

<@Narrator> OOC Hey, this is the 'Quest' II, where there is a will, there is a way. Fortunately, I have no will to let Jim join :D

<+Rue> OOC Back to Questing. It's been 40 minutes and all we've done is get on a train, lol

<@Narrator> OOC I know, I just can't keep up ;)

øùú Faelnon has the sudden temptation to slap Shandor upside the head.

… Someone had to say it.

øùú Shandor comes down to where Rue and Isondil are, easily jumps up into the air, seems to hover for a moment, and lands on the other wagon, the one Rue and Isondil are standing on.

øùú Rue looks at Shandor. "Now that's just cheating."

øùú Faelnon has followed and says, 'Don't think that was magic, this guy barely has enough to pull a rabbit out of his hat. He merely stopped moving as he was in the air while the wagon train continued moving.

øùú Shandor sighs, 'Aww, I wanted to be known as a cheater, thanks a lot Faelnon.'

<@Narrator> Ariea emerges from the food-wagon, 'What was that about you cheating on someone, Shandor?' She smiles.

øùú Rue laughs at Ariea’s comment. "She's got keen ears Shandor."

øùú Shandor sighs, 'I'm just going to be quiet from now on.’

øùú Faelnon grins, 'Good, that's all any of us wanted.'

øùú Shandor tries his trick for crossing between cabins, this time he heads back the way he came, but forgets that the wagon train is moving that way too. He jumps up in the air, and ends up tumbling backwards and nearly falling of the 'train.'

øùú Rue nearly collapses as she laughs at Shandor. "I give that a ten!" she shouts.

øùú Shandor glares at Rue as he gets to his feet, 'I meant to do that... to erm.... to... to show the dangers of trying to do that the wrong way.'

<@Narrator> Ariea grins at Shandor, 'Of course that's what you meant sweetie, you just go lie down and try not to embarrass yourself any more, okay?'

<+Rue> OOC Wow, Colm! It's tomorrow already? hint hint

<@Narrator> OOC If I had zoomed ahead you wouldn't've heard Ariea's comment

<+Rue> OOC Damn...that's true.

<@Narrator> OOC Or Shandor making a fool of himself in the first place.

<+Cyria> ooc I think Ashli WANTS you to zone ahead

øùú Shandor returns to his cabin and gets a book to read.

øùú Rue stares down at her sword with a sigh.

<@Narrator> OOC OMG?! Really?! Why didn't she say something!? :P

øùú Isondil lies down on his bunk and thinks to himself

<@Narrator> OOC *smirks* Is everyone ready to zoom ahead with time by any chance?

<+Kalypse> ooc gees, we are still on the train... move it, Colm!

<+Rue> OOC AAHHH! No! *smacks Isondil* No bunks! In our cabin, it's two beds! I hate bunks...*shudder*

<+Laertus> ooc yes

<+Rue> ooc yes, lol

<+Isondil> ooc YOU got the bed!!!!!!!!!!!

<@Narrator> OOC What's that Rue? Ahhh No? Well, okay, We'll continue on then; just for Rue.

<+Rue> OOC No, there's two beds...Two.

<+Rue> OOC Bunk beds freak me out. It's like a phobia I swear.

<+Rue> OOC *glares at Colm*

<+Isondil> ooc ok have it your way

<+Rue> OOC Yay! I get my way! Yuck...bunks. That and feet...eeew.

<+Rue> OOC I'm done...

øùú Isondil rolls over on his 'bed'

øùú Rue looks at the bed and is again VERY glad that it IS NOT a bunk.

øùú Faelnon rolls his eyes and points to the roof before making a slashing motion with his sword.

øùú Shandor nods, not entirely sure, but taking a good stab at what Faelnon was talking about it, before taking his sword from a chest. He goes to the door and goes to open it-

<@Narrator> OOC Geddit, slashing motion and taking a stab at it...... oh why do I bother...

øùú Faelnon says, 'I don't see how you can be so cold-hearted, like Varadrion.'

øùú Faelnon turns to Kalypse, 'You and Lesharn should have a pastry cooking match, I think it would be quite entertaining.'

øùú Kalypse says 'Me? Competing cooking with a halfling? You must be joking..'

øùú Ariea slaps Faelnon around the shoulder playfully, 'Aw leave them alone. Besides, everyone knows my pastries would beat everyone's.'

øùú Kalypse laughs

øùú Faelnon stifles his laughter at Ariea's comment, before turning to Kalypse, 'Well, if that's what you insist.'

øùú Kalypse says 'hmm.. wouldn't be that bad though... if he wanted'

øùú Faendalos says for no reason at all, "Pastries are no good, you need protein for strength."

øùú Faelnon grins at Kalypse, 'I'll have to let him know.'

øùú Ariea says, 'Pastries are great! I had loads when I was a kid and I turned out great.'

øùú Faelnon grins, 'I think Ariea has just proved why pastries should not be eaten.'

øùú Kalypse chuckles

øùú Ariea smiles, 'Hey!' Before slapping Faelnon around the head gently.

øùú Faelnon grins, 'See, all those pastries means she can't slap someone with strength.'

øùú Ariea says, 'Oh yeah?' before whacking him around the back of the head.

øùú Faelnon mumbles, 'Ow...', rubbing his head.
