The 'Quest' III
Session I - Stumbling In The Fog
Organiser's Comment
Whee, I get to do a rant.
I'll start of by being nice, we had a good turn out and I enjoyed this session.
Now, that's out of the way. I was doing a little back-plot (Esal-Shandor's first conversation), because I thought people might be interested in it (and it does lead somewhere) and people started complaining (or person, well, you know who you are,). So, next time, I'll have my characters just know these things. Oh wait, someone complained about that too. Jeesh. And to the person who complained that no-one else 'ever' does anything (you know who you are, I'm just not naming names), you obviously weren't paying attention, amongst the parts we had, some have been quite important, e.g.:
~Rue discovering the group in Loldar that stole the Dragon-Child ('Quest' II people, most of these references are about the sequel)
~Kalypse piloting the sleigh down the side of a mountain, saving us from starving up there.
~The Four (Varadrion, Kalypse, Calaryn and Cyria) who went evil in the finale.
~Enox, in the original, taking down Bolfur before he could do any more damage (namely banishing us all to a fiery hell).
And others.
Next point, as some people know, running the 'Quest' can get hectic, you have multiple PM's from different people each asking about random things or making comments etc. At the same time, I'm managing four IRC's (I was trying to get five but it wouldn't let me ;) ) and delivering the plot, briefing people who have come late etc. And that's all fine. However, from 7:35 'til 10:20 (the end of the session) I was plagued by PM's from one particular person (again, you know who you are (ironically, it was the same person who complained about the lack of parts)). These PM's came practically every 2 minutes or less. And really it was a bit excessive.
It did relate to the 'Quest', but not at the immediate session, but I would rather have such a conversation out of the 'Quest' so I actually have time to breathe.
Do I get an award for longest Organiser's Comment?
Plot Summary
The group have reunited in A'lure. They have another Wagon Train to use and set off immediately. The topic seems to be rather cheerful, but Faelnon and Varadrion are discussing the grim past, and present. They continue to have various discussions for many hours. Shandor discusses things with Esal, via a small orb capable of communicating over large distances, but locks this orb in his chest before anyone can find it.
Come the next day the 'train has left the forests of A'lure far behind. The sky is unnaturally black, and it begins to rain furiously. Lighting bolts hit all around the 'train and seem to be aiming at it. Faelnon grabs the orb to contact Esal, but it slides from his hands and lands in Calaryn's. She is shocked when the orb suddenly yells at her, again the orb takes to the air. Shandor catches it this time and asks Esal for help. He suggests a barrier spell, Shandor tries to round up all the magic users but finds out he is alone in that field. A lighting bolt strikes the back wheel of a wagon, causing it to snap off. The rest of the group set about repairing it so the 'train can move again while Shandor tries to cast the spell.
The group find the wheel is alright, but the axel is broken, so they use a make-shift one from a halberd. Shandor finishes the spell and a dome of light blue energy forms around the 'train. The wheel is reattached to the 'train and they are off again.
Later on in the night, the group are discussing things in a wagon when Shandor leaves. He nears the back of the 'train when the figure that claims to be Faelnon's Daughter appears to him, he is perturbed by this and returns to the group. She then appears to Varadrion, while in the wagon, and yet it appears that only Varadrion can see her. She disappears to him and reappears to Faelnon. Soon after, she disappears completely, and the three keep their sights to themselves.
Shortly, they return to their wagons to sleep.
Full Log (See Below for 'The Best of the Rest')
<@Narrator> Pre-'Quest' Note Your character's lives are now forfeit. There is a chance I will kill anyone, I might've told you (probably, and you can voice objections, obviously), or I might just kill you. This ain't a happy 'Quest' ;)
<@Narrator> Pre-'Quest' Note II The 'Quest' does not alter the Tildruin world, so if I do end up killing Varadrion, er, someone, it won't mean that you can't use that character in-game.
<@Narrator> The sky in A'lure is rather dark and bleak this morning. The trees seem plain and uninterested in the world. The wildlife seems to be completely avoiding the elves and the elves are avoiding each other.
<@Narrator> At the steps to the Order of Cothin-Cal, Faelnon stands amongst Shandor, Ariea, and a Wise Elf by the name of Caeilie. They were waiting for the rest of the group to appear.
øùú Faelnon stands impatiently.
øùú Faelnon finally says, 'You did tell them where to find us, right?'
øùú Shandor 's eyes go wide, 'Um, yes, I definitely… probably… most likely… possibly mentioned that.'
øùú Ariea says, 'Relax, we are early, they'll show up.'
øùú Cyria strolls into the area and spots Shandor and Faelnon
øùú Shandor smiles at Cyria, 'Good to see you.'
øùú Cyria asks, "Where is everyone else?"
øùú Shandor shrugs, 'Wish I knew.'
øùú Tengu appears from the road bend, a lone figure in dusty robe. And with a walking staff.
øùú Varadrion slowly comes into view and walks towards the group
øùú Calaryn walks up to the group looking at the surroundings
øùú Shandor waves hello at everyone.
øùú Faelnon notes the new person and states, 'Shandor, did you just randomly invite anyone you found on the streets?'
øùú Shandor grins, 'No. They had to be alive…'
øùú Tengu bows with a happy smile as he approaches the group, "Greetings, my friends".
øùú Calaryn nods at the group
øùú Cyria smiles, "Hello Tengu"
øùú Faelnon clears his throat to gain the group's attention.
øùú Echnaton rides in the town on his well known black horse.
øùú Cyria looks over at Faelnon
øùú Tengu bows to Cyria, "Hello Cyria, glad to see you."
øùú Varadrion looks to Faelnon
øùú Faelnon nods to Echnaton.
øùú Echnaton notices the group, but keeps the pace and watches the few other passers-by.
øùú Shandor looks to Faelnon expecting some grandiose speech.
øùú Faelnon says, 'It is good that you are all here. I will not delay the truth; all the signs that we learnt of have told of this. The End to the world. No creature will survive this. This is not like the Dragon of Tildruin, this cannot be defeated by brute force. We do not know how the End will come, but if we cannot stop it, we shall all perish.'
øùú Shandor rolls his eyes, 'Great pep speech.'
øùú Echnaton reaches the group, then he nods to his friends
øùú Shandor says, 'Despite the overwhelming pessimism coming from Faelnon, we can, and we will, defeat this Evil.'
øùú Faelnon says, 'Yeah, that was so much better…'
øùú Varadrion says "As always"
øùú Ariea coughs, then states, 'We have acquired transport. It is a similar wagon-train to the one we used last time, hopefully we won't have to cannibalise it into raft.'
øùú Ariea motions to an elf nearby, he rushes off to get the 'train.
øùú Tengu notes, "Evil plans seldom boast variety"
øùú Calaryn smiles 'why is it always like this when I meet you Shandor?'
øùú Shandor says, 'Because it would be boring any other way.'
øùú Varadrion says "Its like this when anyone meets him"
øùú Cyria nods, "How true Varadrion"
øùú Caeilie looks at the group in slight distain, 'They saved us? Twice?'
øùú Ariea smiles, 'Yep.'
øùú Caeilie sighs, 'We stand no chance.'
øùú Cyria smiles, "That’s a normal feeling when you first meet them"
øùú Shandor grins.
øùú Echnaton dismounts his horse, then walks from person to person, greeting everyone with a nod.
<@Narrator> The Wagon Train rattles into view, it was comprised of at least a dozen oak wagons. Inside was surprisingly capacious, room for a bed-area and a living area. Each wagon has a wardrobe and a few chests. The last two, like the original, are reserved for food and spare weapons.
øùú Faelnon smiles at the 'train, 'Looks just like the original.'
øùú Varadrion looks at it and says "Great, that better not be an omen"
øùú Cyria shakes her head at the bad memories of the last wagon train
øùú Calaryn says 'Old memories'
øùú Tengu says, "Travelling without leaving home..."
øùú Varadrion says "Lately, home seems to be wherever there is a problem"
øùú Shandor says, 'At least I don't have to drive.'
øùú Ariea grins, 'Because we remember what happened to it when that happened.'
øùú Echnaton gets his equipment from the saddle and simply lets the horse run free
øùú Shandor looks at the horse.
øùú Shandor says, 'Shouldn't you leave that with someone?'
øùú Echnaton says "he knows best what to do with himself"
øùú Calaryn says 'I bet there are a lot of people who'll take a horse if they see one'
øùú Tengu raises his hands in objection, "Not me!"
øùú Shandor rolls his eyes, 'Come along children, unpack your things in your cabins.'
øùú Cyria remarks, "There are alot of others who would love to own a horse"
<@Narrator> Echnaton’s horse suddenly starts to gallop, neighs loudly and rushes out of sight. Only some dust proves that it was right there.
øùú Faendalos approaches the group
øùú Varadrion walks into a cabin and looks around, and then shudders
øùú Faendalos looks at the wagon train and shudders
øùú Shandor hops up onto the 'train and enters his cabin.
øùú Tengu just throws his staff inside the wagon and climbs in.
<@Narrator> 'Ahem.' A slightly muffled voice calls.
øùú Echnaton smiles to Cyria "a guy like that you cannot own."
øùú Shandor looks around for anyone, seeing no-one, he removes a small orb from his pocket.
øùú Calaryn take her bags and walks in
øùú Faendalos mumbles to himself, "I really hated the last one..."
øùú Esal coughs, 'Thank you. Someone finally noticed me.'
øùú Cyria walks onto the wagon train and goes to her cabin
øùú Esal looks through the window, 'Okay, why are you still in A'lure? You should be half-way to Borwin by now!'
øùú Shandor says, 'Well, you see, about that-'
øùú Echnaton gets his stuff to a free cabin
øùú Shandor quickly closes the door
øùú Shandor stares at the image of Esal through the orb.
øùú Esal sighs, 'Never mind. Just hurry up and get going.'
øùú Tengu glances through the door before it being shut, "Shandor is talking to things... What does it mean?"
øùú Shandor looks at the orb, 'Anything new happen politically?'
øùú Esal shakes his head, 'No, but there has been another suicide. It seems that the former-leader of Viirnial started screaming something about the End, got on a yacht, went out to sea. He then chained himself to the wheel and scuttled the ship.'
øùú Shandor says, 'Two former leaders have killed themselves… they really didn't like unemployment?'
øùú Esal says, ignoring the last comment, 'There was no reported screech just before he killed himself. But, it is possible that something altered his mind before the incident.'
øùú Esal pauses for a moment, then changes the topic, 'Who of your group knows of this contacting device?'
øùú Shandor says, 'Only me, Faelnon and Ariea. Thor does, obviously, but he is back in Borwin. We told him to keep in touch to see if anything was going wrong.'
øùú Esal says, 'Your first wise tactic, congratulations. Those... people you call a group would probably die from a shock.'
øùú Echnaton rearranges 'his' cabin to get a space for the saddle, then he gets rid of other stuff like bow, quiver and backpack
øùú Varadrion sits down in his cabin and looks around silently
øùú Tengu watches his bed sceptically then lays the blanket on the floor.
øùú Cyria sits on her bed and looks out the window
øùú Faendalos enters his cabin and sits on the bed
øùú Cyria stands up and heads towards Varadrion’s cabin to talk
øùú Echnaton comes up to Faendalos and Varadrion
øùú Varadrion greets Cyria
øùú Esal says, 'Shandor, there is one other thing before you go, in Tildruin and Loldar the humans have been having very bad, 'end of the world' dreams. These were slightly different they told of- wait, who's coming?'
øùú Shandor 's ears perk up, they could hear footsteps outside the door. Quickly Shandor deposits the orb in the chest.
øùú Shandor coughs, tries to look innocent and stares out the window.
øùú Cyria hears something going on in Shandor’s room and heads to the door
øùú Echnaton says "also the animals out there behave strangely the last time.
øùú Cyria opens the door, "Shandor, what’s going on in here, I thought I heard something"
øùú Faendalos pulls out his sabre and sharpens it
øùú Shandor looks around, 'Oh... nothing. Just, er, talking to myself again.'
øùú Calaryn reads a book in "her" cabin
øùú Shandor says, 'Let's get this wagon rolling, shall we?'
øùú Shandor says to Cyria, 'Would you like to tell the drivers to get going?'
øùú Cyria shrugs, "Ok, sure thing"
øùú Echnaton just nods
øùú Shandor locks up the chest before leaving his cabin and locking the door.
øùú Calaryn looks out the window 'are you leaving today??'
øùú Shandor looks towards Calaryn, 'We are just going now.'
øùú Cyria heads up to the divers of the wagon train, "Time to get going, we don't have all day"
øùú Varadrion walks to the door of his cabin and looks out at the surrounding area
<@Narrator> The drivers nod and the 'train is quickly in motion following the main trail out of the forest.
øùú Tengu was placing the candles on the floor when wagon suddenly started its move. "Its good I haven't lit them", said Tengu removing wax from his forehead.
øùú Cyria heads back to her cabin and lays on the bed
øùú Faelnon sits at the rear of the 'train, looking grimly at the trees.
øùú Isondil sees the wagon train and rides after it
øùú Varadrion walks to the back on the train and sits silently alongside Faelnon
øùú Isondil catches up to the wagon train and rides past it and begins to signal to the drivers to stop
øùú Faelnon pauses and turns to Varadrion, 'Why us?'
øùú Faendalos pulls out a little oil, and polishes the blade of his sabre, being careful not to ruin the black gold that ran along its blade
<@Narrator> The drivers halt the train, allowing Isondil to climb on.
øùú Varadrion keeps looking forward and says "Fate? Destiny? Bad luck? No-one knows"
øùú Echnaton walks up and down in his cabin like a captured panther, then he sits down and starts some physical exercises
øùú Faelnon says, 'I'm sure the gods do, but they seem to be quiet. Millions of people in this world, and they pick us...'
øùú Isondil ties his horse to the back of the train and scrambles onto the wagon
øùú Faendalos finishes polishing his weapon
øùú Varadrion looks at him and says "Maybe because you and Shandor are the most capable, and the rest of us... we were around at the right time I suppose"
øùú Isondil moves up to the front of the wagon and signal's to the driver's to continue now he is on
øùú Faelnon laughs at the initial part, 'You were probably around at the wrong time...'
<@Narrator> The drivers nod and the 'train is off once more.
øùú Faendalos stands up and suddenly swings his sabre towards the ground in a very quick stroke
øùú Tengu leans out of the window up to his waist, then suddenly jumps on the roof with a single, somewhat clumsy move.
øùú Calaryn close her book to look why the wagon stopped
øùú Varadrion says to Faelnon "I'm an assassin, one way or another I'd be killing, at least this way I have a purpose"
øùú Isondil moves along the wagon's to find some members of the group
øùú Echnaton finished his gymnastics, then opens the door and climbs up to the roof
øùú Calaryn moves up to the driver and talks to him
øùú Faelnon nods to Varadrion, 'Good point.'
øùú Isondil jumps from roof to roof and sees Echnaton in front of him
øùú Varadrion adds "And a lot of the rest of them" and motions towards the train "are searching for something bigger then a normal life"
øùú Tengu sits on the roof cross-legged, smiling at something.
øùú Echnaton smiles "somehow we all come up here"
øùú Faendalos sheathes his weapon, and lies down on his bed
øùú Isondil smiles at Echnaton and says 'Thought you could get away without me eh?'
øùú Echnaton smiles "well, I simply don’t like closed rooms too much"
øùú Faelnon nods again to Varadrion.
øùú Faelnon says, 'Rather ironic though, we've saved the world twice, and yet no-one knows our names.'
øùú Varadrion replies "I suppose it depends on what rewards you seek, and we've been through worse then anyone can imagine, we will rise above this again"
øùú Faelnon nods, 'I hope so.'
øùú Varadrion replies "Me too"
øùú Varadrion asks quietly "Its worse then ever before this time, far worse, isn't it?"
øùú Faelnon nods, 'Yes.'
øùú Calaryn walks down to the group
øùú Faendalos punches his pillow and mutters, "I can't even sleep..."
øùú Faelnon says, 'The Dragon and that other Shandor were found out by information, this Evil was discovered by... unnatural means.'
øùú Cyria stands up and walks out of the cabin
øùú Caeilie enters the food cabin and helps himself to an apple.
øùú Echnaton looks to Isondil "lets visit Shandor in his cabin - I’m curious as always", smiles and starts moving
øùú Cyria spots Varadrion and Faelnon and moves back to join them
øùú Shandor is standing outside his cabin, looking about.
øùú Faendalos leaves his room and walks out to the group
øùú Isondil smiles and says 'certainly only you lead the way as I have not yet seen which cabin Shandor is in'
øùú Cyria sits down and asks, "Do you mind if I join in on this conversation?"
øùú Varadrion shakes his head
øùú Faelnon smiles, 'Not at all.'
øùú Echnaton lies down on the roof and watches the conversations below
øùú Isondil moves down off the roof of the wagon onto the rope bridge
øùú Cyria says, "Shandor has been acting weird, but then again, it is Shandor we are talking about"
øùú Varadrion smiles softly and says "But he’s been under more stress then usual, even for him"
øùú Isondil moves into the cabin
øùú Isondil looks around the empty cabin and sits down on a bed
øùú Kamrock wanders toward back of the wagon, holding his stomach and looking very ill.
øùú Faelnon turns to Varadrion, 'Stress never seemed to effect Shandor.'
øùú Cyria looks at Kamrock, "You don't look so good"
øùú Varadrion says "Everyone has their limits"
øùú Faelnon says, 'Although, he can go... evil occasionally.'
øùú Calaryn whisper to Cyria 'he's a dwarf might explain it'
øùú Kamrock looks at Cyria, 'I'd be fine, if only I was walking.'
øùú Cyria smiles at Kamrock
øùú Varadrion says "Not always his fault though"
øùú Kamrock sits down and sprawls out on his back, staring at the roof.
øùú Isondil sets down his bow and quiver and other personal belongings on his bed and moves towards the front of the train
øùú Faelnon says, 'Next time, do things slowly.'
øùú Kamrock grumbles something about 'bumpy rides'.
øùú Isondil enters the cabin containing the majority of the group and looks around scanning the faces
øùú Kamrock belches, with some relief spreading over his face.
øùú Cyria looks at Kamrock, "Are you sure you'll be alright?"
øùú Kamrock sits up and wipes his face, then adjusting his helmet he lies back down, 'Fine.'
øùú Isondil looks to Varadrion and says ' I hope I find you well? '
øùú Shandor lies down on his bed and closes his eyes, maybe he could have a sleep undisturbed by some dream or other.
øùú Calaryn looks at Kamrock try looking out
øùú Echnaton says "goodnight all", rises and head for his wagon, waling over the roofs
øùú Shandor wakes up no longer in his cabin. He appears to be back in the hell he was condemned to upon his second death. This, as one might imagine, is rather unsettling. He looks about as everything burns around him. A creature slithers (or floats or crawls) towards him, 'You're all dead soon.'
øùú Shandor snaps awake.
øùú Shandor says, 'There goes Operation Good Night...'
øùú Echnaton makes it comfortable in the bed, nevertheless the mandatory longbow is within range
øùú Isondil moves back to his cabin silently and places his bow and quiver and other personal items onto a chair and lies down on his bed
øùú Calaryn get ready for bed in her cabin
øùú Kamrock scratches his beard.
øùú Ariea returns to her cabin, she notices Shandor wide awake, 'Same dream?'
øùú Shandor nods grimly.
øùú Kamrock sits up quickly.
øùú Isondil looks out the cabin window and thinks about his new home in Viirnial
øùú Faelnon enters his cabin and settles down to sleep.
øùú Caeilie finds a spare cabin and follows the others in going to sleep.
øùú Ariea says, 'Don't worry, soon we'll kick whatever Evil is coming back to wherever it came from.'
øùú Varadrion stares at the ceiling of his cabin and remains silent
øùú Isondil lies thinking about it and after minutes rolls over and falls asleep
øùú Kamrock overcomes his motion sickness and starts honing his axe blade.
øùú Tengu stretches himself, then jumps back inside his cabin.
øùú Cyria walks over to her belongings and pulls out her new studded gloves
øùú Tengu settles himself on the blanket lying on the floor and falls asleep.
øùú Varadrion closes his eyes and drifts off to sleep
<@Narrator> The Wagon-train has continued along its path for nearly a day, the once-grand forests of A'lure have been left behind and the 'train rattles over hills and meadows. The sky stubbornly decides to be near-pitch black, and a light drizzle has started, although it is still daytime.
øùú Shandor sighs disgruntled, and closes his window.
øùú Ariea pipes up, 'I don't like the weather, I've never seen it that dark…'
øùú Shandor removes the orb from the chest, 'I tried to contact Esal again, but maybe this thing has run out of power.'
øùú Kamrock grumbles, 'Never any rain underground.'
øùú Faelnon leaves his cabin and makes towards the food-wagon to steal some breakfast.
øùú Echnaton looks out the window, thinks something like "BAAAH!" about the weather and cares for some breakfast
øùú Ariea shrugs. 'I wonder how the others are.'
øùú Shandor says, 'Probably as miserable as us.'
øùú Ariea nods, and sighs, as seems it seems to be the thing to do, 'Well, I might go for a walk, by the way, your ball is glowing.'
øùú Varadrion looks at Kamrock and says "Never any sun either"
øùú Shandor looks at Ariea for a second before sharply turning towards the orb. It has a faint blue glow around it, he picks it up, 'Er, hello?' No reply. Shandor returns the orb to the chest and locks it up.
øùú Cyria sits on the edge of her bed looking out the window
øùú Kamrock grins at Varadrion, 'That's the best bit.'
øùú Echnaton heads for the wagon of Shandor
øùú Tengu opens his eyes as a small raindrop lands on his face through the window.
øùú Shandor rubs his eyes and yawns.
øùú Caeilie looks out at the sky, depressed, he rolls over and goes back to sleep.
øùú Calaryn wakes up of water dripping in her face
øùú Isondil gets up and moves to the end of the train
øùú Echnaton says "Good morning. No need to ask for last night, I guess..."
øùú Shandor nods to Echnaton, 'Hey, er, this is a good morning to you?'
øùú Calaryn pick up a fruit and takes a big bite
øùú Echnaton smiles "Perhaps a force of habit."
øùú Faelnon leaves the food-wagon, having stolen several fruits and some bread.
øùú Kamrock takes very fine toothed metal comb and drags it through his beard.
øùú Shandor nods.
øùú Isondil reaches the food cabin and smiles and says 'I hope some of you are in better mood than the weather?'
øùú Faelnon says to Isondil, 'Bah.' And returns to his cabin.
øùú Echnaton continues "well, it is situations like these, that remind me about the benefits of closed rooms"
øùú Kamrock grumbles, 'Stuck on a wagon in the rain, yes I've got the highest of auras right now.'
øùú Shandor smiles at Echnaton, 'Indeed, this is much more pleasant than riding on horseback.'
øùú Echnaton asks innocently "what do you do if the rain catches you in a mine?"
øùú Calaryn walks to the back of the train for some fresh air
øùú Kamrock smiles as he is given the chance to explain Dwarven mining.
<@Narrator> There is a sudden roar of thunder as the rain begins to beat down with alarming strength. A bolt of lighting strikes the ground a few metres in front of the horses. They desperately try to go anyway they can.
øùú Faelnon stumbles out of his cabin (and nearly off the 'train), 'Can someone explain what is going on?'
øùú Kamrock says, 'Well, there is a very intricate channel of gutters, any water that shows in the mines is guided down past the Mines.'
øùú Shandor comes out of his cabin, 'I wish I knew.'
øùú Cyria is thrown to the ground
øùú Echnaton grabs the next solid thing to remain on his feet
øùú Ariea slips and falls off the 'train into the fresh mud.
øùú Shandor leaps off after Ariea.
øùú Kamrock looks hopeful, 'Are we stopping?'
øùú Cyria staggers to her feet
øùú Tengu mutters, "Strange, I was sure I woke up..."
<@Narrator> Another bolt of lighting strikes, this time it hits a clump of nearby trees, igniting them in roaring flames.
øùú Calaryn falls to the ground
øùú Shandor helps Ariea onto the 'train again
øùú Varadrion looks up stunned
øùú Echnaton murmurs something un-writable and rushes for his wagon, this time not on the roof
øùú Shandor clambers back onto the 'train before it goes to far.
øùú Calaryn gets back to the group
øùú Caeilie says, 'I would ask exactly who we annoyed,…' He sees another bolt of lighting hit the ground, 'Or what.'
øùú Shandor quickly states, 'Faelnon did it.'
øùú Shandor moves away to check if anyone else fell off.
øùú Kamrock says, 'The Lightning?'
øùú Tengu considers the situation grabs the candles and the blanket and jumps off the cabin.
øùú Shandor shouts to Kamrock, 'Probably, or at least he annoyed the person who caused it.'
øùú Faendalos stands outside in the pouring rain just watching the beautiful show of lightning strikes
øùú Faelnon shouts, 'I would defend my honour, but I'm busy.'
øùú Varadrion rushes over to Shandor and looks at him confused
øùú Echnaton gets his usual equipment where it belongs and returns to the others
øùú Kamrock scratches his head, looking very confused, 'If you didn't, who did?'
øùú Faelnon says, 'Magical pixies at a tea party! How am I meant to know?'
øùú Kamrock growls and starts sharpening a gold coloured dagger.
øùú Isondil runs back to his cabin and gets his bow and quiver and new thin rapier just in case
øùú Faelnon ducks into Shandor's cabin, looking for the orb, 'Maybe Esal has an idea.' He mumbles.
øùú Faelnon tears through the closet before spotting the locked chest. It was not masterfully locked, or even poorly locked, the lock was in such a manner that one could just pull it off. Faelnon did so.
øùú Faelnon begins rummaging through the chest and comes across the orb. He lifts it up, and tries various tactics, but nothing awakens it.
øùú Tengu packs his belongings in his shoulder-bag and moves to the rest of the group.
øùú Varadrion dives into a cabin and sits down
øùú Faelnon leaves the cabin, orb in hand, when the 'train shudders slightly from another nearby bolt. The orb decides it wants to be free and is jolted from his hand.
<@Narrator> The orb tumbles through the air and lands in the hands of Calaryn
øùú Calaryn looks at the orb in bewilderment, 'What is this?'
<@Narrator> 'I'll have you know, this is the first communication device taken from the ideas of the Nanjarii. And I would thank you not to cover it in mud!' Esal bellows through the orb.
øùú Calaryn yelps and throws the orb in the air in surprise.
øùú Shandor catches it, 'Esal, good to see you. We need help.'
øùú Isondil looks out the window at the lightening bolts
øùú Esal looks at the sky, then states, 'My sources in form me these storms have appeared in four other places.'
øùú Calaryn looks at Shandor with big eyes
øùú Cyria grabs her gloves and looks around for Varadrion
øùú Esal says, 'May I suggest a barrier spell of some variety?'
øùú Shandor replies, 'You may.' He looks expectantly at Esal.
øùú Esal sighs, 'Fine, I suggest a barrier spell.'
øùú Varadrion pokes his head out of the cabin and looks around
øùú Echnaton sighs
øùú Shandor calls, 'Anyone who knows magic please come here, the rest of you, don't get killed by lightening.
øùú Ariea says, 'That might be harder than you think.'
øùú Calaryn walks away from Shandor
<@Narrator> Several more bolts strike the nearby area.
øùú Varadrion slips on the wet floor and tumbled down the side, barely catching himself before he falls off completely
øùú Shandor looks about, then notes a disturbing lack of magic users, 'Well then, this will be fun.'
øùú Kamrock quickly sheaths the dagger and replaces his wet-stone.
øùú Varadrion slips a bit in the shaking, and tries not to fall under the wagons
<@Narrator> A bolt strikes the wheel at the very back of the 'train, it ignites on fire.
øùú Cyria hurries off of the train
<@Narrator> The wheel snaps and shakes the nearby wagons.
øùú Kamrock falls backwards.
øùú Faelnon can barely breathe before being hurled into the mud.
øùú Echnaton is pushed across the wagon
øùú Calaryn falls to the floor
øùú Esal says, 'Shandor, I could try helping, but it seems as if you are on your own.'
øùú Shandor says, 'I know, but I don't even have the spell...'
øùú Esal smiles, 'I can help you there, give me one minute.' He disappears out of the orb's view leaving a very untidy study.
øùú Echnaton comes up upon his feet, looks trough a window for what had happened
øùú Kamrock grapples for something to pull himself up on.
<@Narrator> Another bolt strikes the grass nearby, it ignites the grass, which begins battling its water-covered neighbours.
øùú Shandor hollers, 'We need to fix that wheel!'
øùú Echnaton says "I agree, but preferably after you set up your barrier spell"
øùú Faelnon calls back, 'The wheel itself looks okay, but the axel has been destroyed.'
øùú Esal returns within the vision of the orb, 'Right, I've got a suitable spell, its mobile too.'
øùú Kamrock yells 'Well I only have weapons, I wasn't planning on travelling in a broken wagon.'
øùú Esal says, 'Go into a cabin, or somewhere less hectic.'
øùú Echnaton thinks for a moment, then he asks "where do we have tools and a spare wheel?"
øùú Shandor says, 'We probably have tools in the weapon's-wagon, no spare wheel so you'll have to do with what you've got.'
øùú Shandor enters a nearby cabin.
øùú Isondil enters the cabin containing the group
øùú Shandor looks about the cabin and sits down, 'Now what?' He asks Esal.
øùú Kamrock walks to the weapon-wagon, looking for something.
øùú Esal nods, 'Right, good enough.' He begins giving instructions and incantations.
øùú Shandor follows the instructions as best he can.
øùú Echnaton gets the lost wheel, it indeed seems undamaged besides the remains of the axis still sitting in the hub
øùú Ariea monitors the spell's progress.
øùú Kamrock pulls out a large pole-mace, 'Here, will this work?'
øùú Faelnon calls to whoever is near the weapon's-wagon, 'Found anything useful?'
øùú Faelnon says, 'It might.'
øùú Echnaton says ‘I suggest we first lift up that wagon, hard to says something about the damage with the axis buried in the mud’
øùú Kamrock climbs out of the wagon and takes it to Echnaton, 'It's got a wooden shaft, might just hold 'til we can get it looked at.'
øùú Faelnon nods, 'Right, well, we need help then, get everyone out here, and something to prop it up with, do we have something sturdy?'
øùú Varadrion pats his long sword "How long do you need it for?"
øùú Tengu approaches the damaged wagon, at words "sturdy" he looks at his staff
øùú Faelnon says, 'I don't know, let's just hope it doesn't break and gives us enough room to work with.'
øùú Echnaton checks the wooden pole with the hub and nods "it seems perfect"
øùú Kamrock draws his axe and hews off the mace's head.
øùú Faendalos joins the group trying to fix the wheel
øùú Shandor finishes the spell, '-ne'var-so!'
øùú Tengu uses his staff as lever while trying to lift the wagon
<@Narrator> The spell is cast and from the centre of the 'train forms a giant light-blue dome of energy, it encompasses the entire 'train and some of the surrounding area. The lightening bolts strike it, but dissipate into the energy.
øùú Echnaton gets the split-pins out of the axis-remains and removes them from the wheel-hub
øùú Isondil looks at the dome and says grinning ‘Not bad'
øùú Shandor leaves the cabin, briefly admires his work before heading to see how the others are doing.
øùú Kamrock gives the wagon a good heave.
øùú Echnaton notices the dome an nods in compliment
øùú Shandor tries to help left the wagon up.
øùú Varadrion looks up and heaves a high of relief
øùú Faelnon alos tries to lift the wagon up.
øùú Isondil moves over to the broken wagon and tries to lift the wagon
øùú Ariea looks at the others, decides that she probably couldn't help much, so takes to moral support.
øùú Echnaton assists Kamrock fixing the pole
øùú Shandor says, 'Hurry up!'
øùú Kamrock takes a large hammer and gives the makeshift axle a heavy beating.
øùú Kamrock yells, 'Wheel on!'
øùú Kamrock stands back and looks at his handiwork.
øùú Faendalos collapses
øùú Tengu struggles not to slip on the mud as his staff bends in arc under weight of the wagon.
øùú Shandor is reluctant on letting go unless the weight to the wheel will make it snap.
øùú Shandor steps away slowly.
øùú Kamrock grins.
øùú Echnaton lifts Faendalos aboard a wagon
øùú Tengu sighs in relax.
øùú Calaryn looks at the men working
øùú Faelnon steps away.
øùú Isondil let's go of the wagon and says to Shandor 'I'm hungry any meat in the food cabin like boar for example?'
øùú Esal calls from the orb, 'Good work all, free wine for all. Oh, one minor, tiny, issue: The End of the world! Come on! Get going to Borwin. Now.'
øùú Cyria boards the wagon cautiously
øùú Shandor looks at the orb, trying to find an 'Off' switch.
øùú Kamrock smiles, 'And when we get there, I'm getting drunk.'
øùú Tengu gives the last glance to the wheel, and departs to his cabin, hoping for better.
øùú Shandor climbs on board and orders the drivers to get going.
øùú Kamrock quickly boards the wagon train.
øùú Faelnon climbs on board
øùú Isondil climbs onto the wagon and moves up to the front of the train
øùú Ariea follows.
øùú Varadrion hops back into his cabin
<@Narrator> The 'train sets off again, the ground passes harmlessly through the barrier, as does the rain, as it follows the 'train.
øùú Tengu asks Shandor while walking, "What does wise Esal do in that ball?"
øùú Echnaton smirks "I bet he says cryptic words"
øùú Shandor turns to Tengu, 'That is just a mode of contact, he is back in his house... wherever that is, finding out important information to pass on to us.'
øùú Isondil moves up to the front of the train and nods to the drivers and takes out an apple and munches it slowly
øùú Shandor thinks about it, 'And since he read out the incantation, his house is probably surrounded by a big ball of energy...'
øùú Kamrock looks unsurprised, 'Just so long as he doesn't break his back working in the mud.'
øùú Ariea looks up at the sky and the lightening dissipating through the barrier, 'You know, it is actually quite pretty now.'
øùú Isondil finishes the apple and throws the core at the blue dome
øùú Kamrock removes his helmet and combs his long and severely screwed-up hair.
øùú Faendalos comes to, and looks around trying to figure out where he is
øùú Isondil returns to his cabin and sits down
øùú Shandor wonders between the cabins.
øùú Isondil sits down on a chair and looks out of the window thinking
øùú Kamrock takes to waxing his hair.
øùú Echnaton uses his coat to wipe off the mud from most other clothes
øùú Ariea returns to her cabin to lie down.
øùú Shandor watches Ariea and wonders why on earth she would be tired, out of the entire group...
øùú Tengu takes off and squeezes his wet clothes, then puts them on back.
øùú Faelnon preoccupies himself with reading a book in his cabin.
øùú Calaryn gets into her cabin
øùú Cyria goes to her cabin
øùú Isondil grows restless and stands up and walks out of the cabin
øùú Faendalos bandages his wounded hands with a little iodine and some cloth
øùú Varadrion walks around silently
øùú Shandor climbs up to the roof of a wagon and is half-tempted to tap the energy creating the dome just to feel the magical energy. Realising this would also mean him probably dying, he decides against the idea.
øùú Isondil walks into another vacant cabin and decides to sit and wait for people to come to him
øùú Shandor climbs back down and looks about for someone to annoy, or talk to, which ever was easiest.
øùú Varadrion sits down among other members of the group
øùú Shandor finds Isondil, 'Hey.'
øùú Isondil nods to Shandor and says 'Hi'
øùú Faendalos finishes bandaging his hands and then proceeds to get a drink of water
øùú Isondil says to Shandor ' everything ok with the dome? your barrier spell is holding?'
øùú Shandor says 'Yes, it is doing quite well, it is very bright, you might not notice when it goes to night.' He looks outside, 'Or has it already?'
øùú Varadrion walks over and sits near Isondil and Shandor
øùú Isondil looks outside and says 'I don't know looks like it could be sometime in the afternoon'
øùú Echnaton appears busy with getting dry, but his ears follow each word
øùú Shandor yawns, 'I'm tired, but that could be from the spell, or the time of day.'
øùú Isondil notices Varadrion and says 'Hi'
øùú Tengu climbs to where most talk is.
øùú Shandor nods at Varadrion.
øùú Shandor nods, also, to Tengu.
øùú Tengu nods to everyone.
øùú Faelnon puts his book away and wanders about the 'train before coming across the four.
øùú Faelnon enters, 'Evening all.'
øùú Shandor says, 'So it is evening.'
øùú Isondil nods to Tengu
øùú Varadrion nods to Isondil and Shandor
øùú Shandor yawns again.
øùú Shandor looks about, 'Have fun today?'
øùú Varadrion raises an eyebrow "It was interesting"
øùú Echnaton heads for his wagon, gets a bowl of water and washes off last traces of mud that persistently stick to where they don’t belong
øùú Tengu says, "From overall mood I feel as we already lost the main battle with Evil before facing it."
øùú Shandor says, 'If we face it, we will loose.'
øùú Varadrion asks "Therefore our plan is..."
øùú Isondil grins and says 'Great confidence builder aren't you?'
øùú Shandor says, 'I'm sorry to say this, but we stand no chance against it.'
øùú Shandor says, 'At least, that's from the dreams I've been having.'
øùú Tengu says, "Then perhaps I would suggest not facing it"
øùú Varadrion says "How do we plan on stopping it Shandor"
øùú Shandor says, 'Good idea Tengu, let's just wait for the wave of hell to swallow us.'
øùú Shandor says, 'I was rather hoping I would get a good idea when I was faced with it.'
øùú Shandor says, 'We are heading to Borwin because the dreams stated that it will be the first city to fall.'
øùú Isondil says 'brilliant'
øùú Shandor says, 'I figured that if I got to Borwin first and stopped it from being destroyed, then I could stop it all.'
øùú Echnaton , getting only the last few senteces as returning, says "sarcastic as ever, Shandor?"
øùú Shandor says, 'I wish.'
øùú Echnaton asks "well, any concrete idea or just lets go and see...?"
øùú Shandor shrugs, 'We don't know exactly where this evil is, or what it is.'
øùú Shandor says, 'We are stumbling in the fog...'
øùú Tengu asks, "The first to fall? And if we fail, what will be the next?"
øùú Echnaton smiles "lets go and see"
øùú Varadrion asks "Esal said the storms were happening in other places too... where?"
øùú Shandor says, 'First questions, first answers Tengu, if Borwin falls then it could strike in four other places, but we won't know which one, unless we get a few good hints.'
øùú Kamrock conveniently ignores the talk of the end of Borwin.
øùú Esal says, from the orb Shandor left in his pocket, 'Varadrion, the storms have struck Tildruin, Loldar and somewhere near Emerald Bay.'
øùú Isondil nods and says 'Have you alerted the Dwarves of this so they can prepare to defend themselves if at all possible?
øùú Shandor says, 'Thor is at Borwin, I'm sure he is doing the best he can.'
øùú Echnaton asks "didn’t you mention *four* other locations?"
øùú Esal coughs, 'Yes, I did, but I didn't think you would be thrilled to know that A'lure came under attack soon after you left.'
øùú Esal says, 'I am happy to state that A'lure is now safe again.'
øùú Isondil nods and says rather concernedly 'have you any idea where near the Emerald bay was hit by this storm'
øùú Esal says, 'I could try to find out, if you wish.'
øùú Tengu asks Isondil, "Since the nature of the foe is unknown, how can they be prepared?"
øùú Shandor smiles at Tengu, 'They are dwarves, they'll try to hit it with something blunt, then something sharp...'
øùú Kamrock coughs, 'Something sharp, then something blunt.'
øùú Echnaton says "Tildruin, A'Lure and Loldar are cities, but what is so special about a region somewhere near Emerald Bay?"
øùú Esal shrugs, 'It was moving at the time I got the report, it might have hit Emerald Bay itself, I'm not sure.'
øùú Varadrion asks Shandor "How long till we reach Borwin?"
øùú Shandor says, 'A day or two.'
øùú Esal says, 'A day.'
øùú Shandor says, 'Or two.'
øùú Esal says, 'I think you should make it a day.'
øùú Isondil nods
øùú Shandor says, 'I think you want to be locked in a chest.'
øùú Varadrion says "Probably a good idea"
øùú Echnaton smiles
øùú Kamrock grumbles, 'So why are we riding in a wagon, we could get there quicker by Boar.'
øùú Esal says, 'Point retracted. Do your best.'
øùú Isondil smiles and says 'and if we get hungry on the way we can eat one of them'
øùú Shandor says, 'Because if we were on boar, we probably would've been fried back there. And besides, 'trains are more fun.'
øùú Shandor says, 'True Isondil, and lets not forget, the last boar we had got a little... light headed.'
øùú Kamrock says, 'Two more days I have to travel on here. Brilliant!'
øùú Faelnon smirks, remembering the boar floating in the forest.
øùú Varadrion says to Kamrock "Suck it up"
øùú Shandor grins.
øùú Echnaton smiles
øùú Isondil grins
øùú Varadrion says "If you're complaining now, I'd hate to see what happens when we have to defend Borwin"
øùú Varadrion turns back to Shandor "Which reminds me... any idea how Borwin is supposed to be destroyed?"
øùú Kamrock grins, 'You'll enjoy it.'
øùú Shandor shrugs, 'I have no idea. It could be an army, could be one of these storms, or a mountain might collapse on it...'
øùú Kamrock says, 'It won't be destroyed, not all of it anyway. You shall never get rid of us Dwarves, as much as you wish for our money.'
øùú Varadrion looks at him and asks "And you are taking us there... as we speak... to possibly get crushed by a mountain?"
øùú Tengu says, "If you know your enemy, the battle is half-won. Somehow only the enemy knows us."
øùú Shandor grins at Varadrion, 'Yes, that hasn't happened to me yet, I thought it would be fun.'
øùú Isondil looks at Tengu and says 'How do you know the enemy knows us?'
øùú Tengu asks, "So we probably have to battle earthquake?"
øùú Varadrion looks at Shandor and says "For the half second you're alive before you're crushed."
øùú Tengu says, "The lightening looked liked they were aimed at ourselves"
øùú Varadrion says "Why are we going right to the city anyways... why not... stay at a safe distance and observe. It seems suicidal to rush in when we have no idea what may happen"
øùú Shandor says, 'They hit our general area.'
øùú Echnaton says to Isondil "I agree with Tengu That storm hitting us was surely not by chance"
øùú Shandor says, 'We are going in to Borwin to try and save lives, and our own. If Borwin is destroyed it means we have already lost.'
øùú Tengu says, "I never been to Emerald Bay, but we were in Tildruin and A'lure, and Loldar"
øùú Echnaton smirks "and it shows that who- or whatever sent it, thinks us worth such an effort"
øùú Kamrock growls at Varadrion, 'I'd rather die defending my Brethren than standing back and watching a slaughter.'
øùú Varadrion turns to Kamrock "You know I don't want that either... but if we figure out how to stop it as we are being slaughtered, it won't do anyone any good"
øùú Shandor sighs and stands up, he leaves the cabin for some fresh air.
øùú Kamrock puts his helmet on and taps his plate armour.
øùú Tengu says, "But what good in finding how to stop the slaughter after everyone is slaughtered?"
øùú Shandor leans against the wall of the food-wagon. He opens his eyes to see a tall female elf there. Apart from nearly jumping out of his wits, he says, 'You are the one from my dreams, the one who claimed to be Faelnon's daughter.' She nods and is about to say something when Shandor says, 'Be quiet, I don't want you attracting the rest of them.'
øùú Isondil nods and says 'Indeed'
øùú Shandor turns to her, but she says something first, 'You will get slaughtered, you know, just like they are saying. Oh, and 'uncle' Shandor, they can't see me. Not yet at least.'
øùú Shandor says, 'How exactly are you here?' She replies, 'I'm not sure on that point, but I thought I should give you a heads up, Borwin equals death, pure and simple.'
øùú Shandor goes back to the group and casually asks, 'Did anyone hear anything?'
øùú Tengu says, "You appear to have another orb to talk to?"
øùú Isondil shakes his head
øùú Kamrock chuckles, 'Only an Elf going mad, and hearing things.'
øùú Shandor says, 'Oh, er, no. I was just... expressing thoughts aloud.'
øùú Shandor smiles, 'You all think I'm insane, I might as well act it.'
øùú Echnaton asks "what exactly should we have heard, Shandor?"
øùú Varadrion looks at Shandor curiously, but declines comment
øùú Shandor sits down, he turns to Echnaton, 'Oh nothing, nothing at all.'
øùú Shandor rubs his head and wonders about his sanity, after all the deaths and fights, is it any surprise that he is going crazy?
øùú Varadrion keeps looking and Shandor and raises an eyebrow "Probably"
øùú Isondil raises an eyebrow
<@Narrator> 'Hey... Varadrion, right?' Faelnon's 'daughter' states, suddenly standing beside Varadrion, 'Oh don't worry, none of your friends can see me.'
<@Narrator> 'Well, I just wanted to let you know, you are on the right track. Look forward to a bloody, messy end if you go to Borwin.'
øùú Varadrion turns to a seemingly open spot on the floor and his eyes widen
øùú Shandor looks at Varadrion, but says nothing.
øùú Varadrion stutters "But.. but.."
<@Narrator> With that message delivered she disappears.
øùú Tengu asks, "Varadrion, are you alright?"
øùú Isondil looks at Varadrion's strange facial appearance
øùú Echnaton notices Varadrion’s behaviour, then he closes his eyes and seems rather introverted
øùú Varadrion continues to look at that spot and seems to be staring at nothing
<@Narrator> She appears in front of Faelnon, 'Hey dad.'
øùú Isondil shakes himself and takes out a cloth and his bow and begins to polish it
øùú Faelnon looks at his 'daughter' not amused.
<@Narrator> 'I thought I would give you all one more hint. Look at the sky in Borwin, tell me what you see.' She chuckles and disappears.
øùú Faelnon mutters, 'That wasn't helpful at all.'
øùú Shandor looks towards Faelnon.
øùú Varadrion looks towards Faelnon
øùú Echnaton , without opening the eyes, says "Now you, Faelnon?"
øùú Faelnon looks at the two, 'Oh, never mind me, I was just... thinking about the book I was reading.'
øùú Tengu asks, "Helpful... One of six can not be sane, if other are not."
øùú Shandor grins at Echnaton, 'I guess insanity is contagious.'
øùú Varadrion looks back and forth from Shandor to Faelnon and back
øùú Echnaton says "fine expectations for my future" and grins a bit sarcastically
øùú Shandor smiles at Echnaton.
øùú Isondil grins
øùú Varadrion shudders
øùú Shandor thinks back to the encounter.
øùú Shandor mutters quietly, 'It wasn't in a dream...'
øùú Varadrion sits down in a corner and watches quietly
øùú Tengu says, "Whatever you've seen, it doesn't seem to make you happy."
øùú Varadrion shudders and replies "No, it doesn't"
øùú Shandor yawns again.
øùú Isondil satisfied with his polished bow and replaces it
øùú Shandor says, 'So, what have you been up to since we met last?'
øùú Varadrion looks up "Who are you asking?"
øùú Shandor shrugs, 'All of you.'
øùú Varadrion says "I spent a month or so in the forests near my home hunting for some criminals"
øùú Tengu says, "Wandering mostly, as usual. Always feeling there was something strange with how it ended."
øùú Shandor nods.
øùú Varadrion says "And other then that, training"
øùú Isondil says 'Well I moved back to the city of Viirnial with my wife and now have a house their'
øùú Faendalos answers rather suspiciously, "Nothing..."
øùú Shandor turns to Isondil, 'Wife? And you didn't bring her along? Tut tut.'
øùú Echnaton smiles
øùú Varadrion turns to Isondil "Good idea, considering, and motions at Shandor"
øùú Shandor moves over to Isondil and says quietly, 'I don't mean to panic you, but I would send a message out to your wife to take a trip away from Viirnial for a few days.'
øùú Tengu says, "Is it a tradition to involve your wife in your adventures after wedding?"
øùú Isondil smiles 'I thought she'd be safer at home' and grin's at Varadrion
øùú Shandor says, 'What do you mean 'after', Ariea was with us for a long while before the wedding.'
øùú Isondil colour drains from his face and he nods slowly
øùú Tengu says, "The first time I saw her, there were stones flying around"
øùú Shandor says, 'Yes, well, she was with us before the wedding.'
øùú Varadrion asks Shandor "So the plan in to head into Borwin?"
øùú Shandor nods, 'Yes, we'll find Thor, see if anything has been happening, then sit tight.'
øùú Tengu looks at Isondil, not really surprised.
øùú Varadrion tilts his head a bit while looking at Shandor, but nods and says "Sounds good."
øùú Shandor cocks an eyebrow to Varadrion's sudden change of opinion.
øùú Varadrion says "Thor may well need our help"
øùú Isondil rises slowly and walks back to his cabin
øùú Shandor smiles, 'Don't expect him to admit that any time soon, though.'
øùú Varadrion says "No I doubt it"
øùú Faelnon goes after Isondil, 'If you would prefer, I could get Esal to contact your wife within a day.'
øùú Varadrion rises and looks around the room "I think it would be best if I got some rest for the time being, I will see you all in the morning"
øùú Isondil nods and says 'Please if you could'
øùú Shandor returns to his cabin to get some sleep.

'The Best of the Rest'
øùú Shandor sighs and smashes the orb in pieces. He removes a time machine from his chest and forwards time to the point where the world implodes.
Eep, He is going Evil again, I just know it.
<@Narrator> OOC Let's do the timewarp again!
<@Cyria> ooc w00t timewarp is l33t :D
<@Narrator> OOC :D
<@Narrator> OOC here we go
<@Narrator> The Wagon-train has continued along its path for nearly a day, the once-grand forests of A'lure have been left behind and the 'train rattles over hills and meadows. The sky stubbornly decides to be near-pitch black, and a light drizzle has started, although it is still daytime.
<@Narrator> OOC *looks around* That's it? I'm calling my union.
<@Cyria> ooc timewarp ro>
<+Kamrock> ooc but that dimension makes a lot more sense, and is full of Leprechons
<@Narrator> OOC I'm starting to wonder why you are all obsessed with Irish folk-lore
<+Kamrock> oocObsessed?
<+Isondil> ooc and I suppose you visited that dimension
<@Narrator> While the group are sleeping, a band of leprechauns dash up to the 'train. They coat it with pixie powder and run off singing, 'Tra lay la le fa la la la.' Then, at a safe distance. They blow the 'train to hell! Bwahahahahahahahahahahah. Tra lay la le fa la la la.
<@Narrator> OOC That'll teach ya for talking about leprechauns during the 'Quest' )
