<@Narrator> :~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~: 'Parts And Prices' :~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:
<@Narrator> Right now, giant stone things are chasing us, Faelnon is struggling to put his pants on and people I know and work with may be setting up a fan club for me. My name is Shandor, and this is the worst session of my life.
<@Narrator> Previously On 2-er- 'Quest' 2+1. Yes, that'll do:
<@Narrator> 'You tried to kill him?' Shandor.
<@Narrator> 'Ah ah, Faely, Shindy. Back off.' The Seventh, a.k.a. Richard
<@Narrator> 'Could I get a medal?' Ariea.
<@Narrator> 'Okay girlfriends, lets booooo-gaaaay on down!' Faelnon Trovo'kren
<@Narrator> 'Chase them! Destroy them!' Female Dragon
<@Narrator> '*Grumble grumble grumble, roar roar roar*' Stone beasts and Krats
<@Narrator> The following events take place... during a day. All events occur in real-time
<@Narrator> It is a few hours after dawn, the 'train is rocketing along a path in the middle of nowhere. The horses are exhausted, they have not paused since they left the meeting place. An army of stone creatures and Krats of both sizes are chasing them. Although, currently they are out of sight, the group have no doubt they will catch up soon.
<@Narrator> The weather is surprisingly nice, only a few puffy white clouds in the sky and the sun is shining brightly.
øùú Shandor says to the others in his room, Ariea, Rue, Foilae and Faelnon, 'We'll have to admit it, we have no chance alone. We need some obscure miracle.'
øùú Faelnon sighs and leans against Shandor's desk, 'What do we do then?'
øùú Foilae says, 'We could hide. Dump the 'train and hide.'
øùú Ariea shakes her head, 'I don't think so, those things are killing anyone and anything in their way, we'd still be found out.'
øùú Ariea says concernedly, 'I think we should give the others a chance to leave if they want to. This mess is our fault, no need to have them die over it.'
øùú Shandor nods, 'I'll offer, but I doubt they'll accept.'
øùú Faelnon turns to Foilae and Shandor, 'Isn't there some kind-of spell we could use?'
øùú Shandor says, 'There was a barrier spell I used earlier, however, I don't have the supplies for it. I have the supplies for a lesser version - the only real difference is we need to be stationary, and I'd need a bit of time.'
øùú Rue sighs and kicks at something on the ground. "We need someone of Richard-y strength to help us, and it's not looking like we'll find someone of Richard-y strength who's not trying to kill us so..."
øùú Faelnon says, 'If we bought you enough time to put up the barrier, what then?'
øùú Shandor says, 'I'm not sure.'
øùú Ariea says quietly, half to herself, 'We'll get a miracle.'
øùú Rue nods to Ariea with a defeated sigh.
øùú Shandor leaves his cabin to go and check on how things are.
øùú Ariea remains where she is, deep in thought.
øùú Rue raises an eyebrow. "Does anyone else hear that?"
øùú Foilae leaves and goes to his cabin and goes to get any useful books.
øùú Varadrion climbs onto the roof and takes a look around
øùú Faindil runs alongside the train, "HEEEEEEEYY!!!!"
øùú Faelnon looks at Rue, 'What?'
øùú Faindil screams, "HEY, STOP! WAIT FOR ME!"
øùú Shandor looks curiously at Faindil.
øùú Varadrion looks over the side at Faindil
øùú Rue goes outside and looks at the elf running alongside the 'train. "Do you think the gods sent down someone of Richard-y strength to help us?" she asks Faelnon.
øùú Faindil promptly trips and falls on his face at Rue's statement.
øùú Faelnon comments, 'He's doing well to keep up with the 'train.'
øùú Rue shakes her head. "Nope."
øùú Faelnon rolls his eyes, 'Never mind.'
øùú Shandor quickly levitates Faindil into the air and sets him on the catwalk, not willing to pause for a second unless there is no other way.
øùú Faindil stands up and brushes the mud off of him. "Er..thanks." he grins.
øùú Shandor says, 'Er... hi?'
øùú Rue points to his thigh. "Missed a spot."
øùú Varadrion stands at the top and looks over at the group
øùú Faindil blushes and wipes off the rest of them mud. "Er...um...hi. I'm Faindil." he says.
øùú Shandor says slowly, 'Shandor.'
øùú Rue sighs. So much for Richard-y strength. "Rue."
øùú Faelnon says, 'Faelnon.'
øùú Shivayon comes out of her cabin to see what the noise is about, 'Oh, new guy.'
øùú Shandor turns to Shivayon, half smiles and comments regarding her status, 'New girl.'
øùú Faindil says quickly, "Sorry for asking you to stop and all." He pauses before realizing that this isn't enough. "Because, um, I nearly got run over by a lot of soldiers and whatnot and..." he trails off.
øùú Rue mutters to Faelnon, "At least he's coherent?"
øùú Shandor says, 'Ah, well, you aren't much safer here.'
øùú Faindil shrinks back, "Are you gonna kill me?"
øùú Faelnon cocks an eyebrow, 'Yes, we've run out of things for the lunchtime stew?'
øùú Varadrion smirks at Faindil's remark
øùú Faindil squeaks and takes another step back.
øùú Rue laughs. "No, we're being followed by Krats and stone creature-things. Not a very promising situation for someone who likes being alive."
øùú Shandor says, 'We aren't going to hurt you. Can't speak for those creatures following us.'
øùú Varadrion says "Not a promising situation for anyone, really."
<@Narrator> In the distance there is a building. It is still quite large, and has achieved its size due to many expansions that have been clearly added. The horses see this as a perfect opportunity to stop and do so - refusing to move another inch.
øùú Shandor is nearly thrown to the floor by the sudden stop. 'Crap.' Shandor mutters.
øùú Rue nods to Varadrion.
øùú Ariea is about to welcome the new guy when she is thrown to the floor.
øùú Varadrion says to Shandor "I'm pretty sure they would hurt him.. so we might as well keep him."
øùú Varadrion falls over on the roof and catches the edge
øùú Foilae stops just outside his cabin and finds himself rolling very quickly the other way.
øùú Faelnon is fortunate enough not to fall over, by smacking his head against the wall of the cabin.
øùú Shivayon just falls over to save time.
øùú Faindil lets the statement set in for a moment before straightening up and adjusting his clothes. "Oh, well, I knew tha-" he is cut off by the sudden stop, and is launched at the ground.
øùú Shandor groans, 'That was fun.'
øùú Rue stumbles forward but maintains her balance. She looks down at Faindil. "Nice."
øùú Ariea says, getting to her feet, 'Was rather, wasn't it?'
øùú Faindil leaps to his feet. "I'm ok!" he assures everyone.
<@Narrator> A few human children peak through the front door before running off to find the grown-ups of the house.
øùú Varadrion climbs down to the walkway and looks at the building
øùú Shandor moves to the front of the 'train, looks despairingly at the horses, then at the house.
øùú Rue just stands and blinks at the house, unimpressed.
øùú Faelnon thinks it is quite a feat of construction that the house hasn't collapsed.
øùú Rue sighs, "Don't get your hopes up. This house could be like the creepy funhouse-school-of-death."
øùú Varadrion says to Rue "More then likely"
øùú Shandor looks at Rue, 'Creepy funhou... no, never mind.'
øùú Faindil blinks at Rue and wonders if she's joking.
øùú Varadrion hops off the train and begins walking towards the building
øùú Shandor motions for Varadrion to pause for a second.
øùú Varadrion stops and looks at him
øùú Shandor whispers, 'Lets wait for them to do something first. I don't like the school of death idea.'
<@Narrator> A kindly-looking old lady steps out and squints at the group through her glasses, 'Hello there,' she says at last.
øùú Shandor smiles politely, 'Hello, sorry for the intrusion.'
øùú Faindil stands back a bit and is quiet.
<@Narrator> She says, 'No problem, oh dear, your horses look very tired, they can have some water if they want...'
øùú Ariea smiles at the lady
øùú Shivayon just looks at the house, then smiles politely.
øùú Varadrion slips a hand inside his cloak "Something about this feels very wrong"
øùú Shandor smiles, 'That would be most generous, thank you.'
øùú Faelnon coughs sharply beside Shandor.
øùú Shandor tries to convey his message of 'The horses aren't moving, we'll just have deal with it here,' to Faelnon silently and discreetly, but no doubt failed.
øùú Rue looks at the woman, unsure of whether or not to trust her. She opts to lean against the 'train, arms crossed in front of her.
øùú Faelnon watches Shandor conduct air traffic.
øùú Faindil inches over to Rue. "So, what are we doing?" he asks.
øùú Rue shakes her head. "We're not sure."
øùú Varadrion looks back at Shandor and walks towards the old lady
øùú Ariea looks at the house, waits for the uncomfortable silence to set up home, and says, 'It's a very nice place you have here.'
øùú Rue leans over to Shandor. "I think you're telling Faelnon that his landing gear isn't down..."
<@Narrator> The old lady smiles, 'Ah, this house has been our family house for many generations, I remember my own grand pappy getting it, and we've lived here ever since. Well, if your horses are getting a drink, you may as well, too.' She turns and pushes the door open fully and waves her hand, 'Come along.'
øùú Shandor looks at Rue, 'I thought that was his equipment wasn't working?'
øùú Faindil quickly follows behind the woman.
øùú Ariea gets off and returns the smile, 'Thank you.'
øùú Shandor climbs off and follows.
øùú Faelnon smacks Shandor over the head and follows
øùú Rue waits for everyone else to go before following behind them.
øùú Cyria looks at the others before following the others
øùú Rue pats Faelnon on the head, "It's ok. It happens to everyone."
øùú Shivayon follows.
øùú Foilae smiles politely and goes inside
øùú Faelnon pauses and looks pensively at the horizon behind them before moving after the others
øùú Varadrion walks in
<@Narrator> The first room is one large, roughly rectangular room that has been divided into quadrants by change of flooring, there is the living area (soft, dark green carpet, to the left, closest to the 'train), the kitchen (stone tiling, opposite the living area), a reading area (a lavender carpet to the right of the group, closest to the 'train), and a smaller games area (a lighter green carpet, opposite the reading area). Against the back wall there is a stone spiral staircase.
<@Narrator> In the area between the kitchen, living, reading and games sections there is oak flooring. There is a door in between the living and kitchen areas leading to a bedroom. The back wall has several full length patterned windows, two of which open inwards and lead to a gigantic garden, complete with a swimming pool. It is clear from the back that the house is a roughly 'C' shape without the curve.
<@Narrator> Upstairs, there are several rooms, mostly bedrooms, along with a couple of bathrooms. There is also a pull down panel and stairs for two rooms (complete with en suites) in the attic.
<@Narrator> The old lady, Isabeth, has three children, who each have two or three. The youngest of all, four year old Sera, is running about outside with her five year old twin brothers, Timothy and Thomas.
<@Narrator> The father of Sera, son-in-law of Isabeth, is in the kitchen cooking. His wife is reading, while also maintaining a watchful eye on the three outside. The games area was currently in use by James, Peter and Francis, who were playing a slightly obscure game.
<@Narrator> In the living area, Jeremiah, William and Jumping Jehoshaphat were talking about the latest match with a local town. Arella, Rho and Bethany were rolling their eyes before talking about certain members of the other team of that match.
<@Narrator> Most of the parents, Simon, Patrick, Albert, Lucy, Maratha, Enid and Penelope were in the town working.
<@Narrator> The different expansions also brought different architecture. Everything seemed to mesh together surprisingly well. That is, except for one stone, small tower, only half-a-floor taller than the rest of the household. It seemed to be from the original construction, and served no other purpose than a storeroom.
<@Narrator> Outside, where Sera, Thomas and Timothy are playing, there are several rows of trees, a couple of apple, one oak and a couple beech. Along the edges of the house there are flowerbeds full of vibrant flowers, most of them beginning to blossom again.
øùú Faelnon turns to Shandor, 'Get to work on a barrier spell, we don't have long before they arrive.
øùú Shandor nods, 'Okay, Foilae should stay here in case the spell isn't up in time.'
øùú Varadrion says to Faelnon and Shandor "Shouldn't we be working on getting the horses moving?"
øùú Varadrion continues "Instead of trying to protect some random house?"
øùú Faindil walks over to Faelnon. "What are we doing here?"
øùú Shandor turns to Varadrion, 'The army is killing everything in its way, hows about you explain to that little girl out there why she has to die?'
øùú Faelnon says, 'We are being chased by an army of creatures, they are destroying anything in their paths and the horses are nearly dead from fatigue. We have a barrier spell but we can only do it while stationary - this is a good as place as any.'
øùú Varadrion turns to Shandor and replies "Explain that to Isondil's wife... or your own... for that mater"
øùú Ariea waves at Varadrion.
øùú Shandor says, 'Oh, so it is okay to let others die because some have already? You're truly a great person, have I mentioned that?'
øùú Ariea puts her hand on Shandor's shoulder, 'Come on, lets get to work on the spell before they arrive. I'll help.'
øùú Shandor nods to Ariea.
øùú Faelnon quickly explains the situation to Isabeth who seems surprisingly calm about it.
øùú Varadrion says to Shandor "If we die here, then there’s no hope of saving who’s left"
øùú Shandor says, 'Varadrion look at the horses. They are about to die if we push them any more. If we have no horses, we have no means of travel. If we have no means of travel, the army catches up and kills us. We can create a barrier spell to prevent them, but we need to do it now otherwise we die pointlessly.'
øùú Faindil sighs. "Maybe I should have waited for the next 'train to go by....."
øùú Rue raises an eyebrow at Faindil. "Hey, if you don't like it, leave. I'm sure nothing out there will hurt you."
øùú Varadrion says to Shandor "Then do it"
øùú Shandor rolls his eyes, 'I'm trying to, someone keeps stopping.'
øùú Varadrion looks replies to Faindil "At least you won't die alone"
<@Narrator> She thinks for a few moments before saying, 'The storeroom would be a good place to set up. The children don't really have anywhere else to go apart from this main room. Jeremiah! Show these two nice people to the store room. William, James, Peter, Francis, clear out the storeroom. Now young men! You can store the stuff down here.'
øùú Shandor is glad to see someone taking control.
<@Narrator> The children grumble, they are ages varying from twelve to sixteen, but leave what they were doing to go upstairs. The youngest, ten year old Jeremiah, begins upstairs to show the two elves to the storeroom.
øùú Faelnon says, 'This is going to be a fun day. I just have a sixth sense about these things.'
øùú Varadrion looks at Shandor and says "I'll help them clear it out"
øùú Foilae rolls his eyes at Faelnon.
øùú Faindil looks around, feeling altogether lost.
<@Narrator> About ten minutes pass, the contents off the storeroom, mostly crates, trunks and cases, are placed downstairs and are used very much as barricades. The couches, chairs and beds are also moved around for more defence. Faelnon had refrained from pointing out how pointless the excise was, thinking that it was easier for them to do that than worry.
<@Narrator> The youngest children, Sera, Thomas and Timothy, were brought up stairs and Jeremiah was appointed as watch guard.
øùú Varadrion grabs a chair and sits down in the middle of the room, looking around
øùú Faelnon says, 'We'll be forming the front line, outside. We can't let them get inside, understand?’
øùú Foilae nods solemnly.
øùú Shivayon would really like to be some sort of death goddess right about now. She nods nervously, gripping the hilt of her sword in both hands.
øùú Varadrion says to Faelnon "Do we actually have any hope of stopping them?"
øùú Faindil bites her lip and nods.
øùú Faelnon states, 'If we can get the barrier up in time. All we need to do is buy a few minutes more.'
øùú Varadrion nods and draws a pair of daggers
øùú Faindil comes to the shocking realization that they'll need to fight. He nervously takes a dagger from his belt.
øùú Varadrion spins the daggers in his hands and looks towards the sky
øùú Rue bites her lip and nods
<@Narrator> The ground suddenly begins to quake, the stew that had been cooking (abandoned when the barricades started being made) tumbles to the ground and spills over the kitchen tiles. The books crash down from the shelves. The children downstairs look nervously about, then at the 'weapons' they had been given - pots and pans.
<@Narrator> Isabeth stands in front of them, facing the front door, as if expecting the stone creatures to come up and ring the doorbell. Which, if they did, would be very polite of them, considering they were murderous beasts.
<@Narrator> The group are assembled outside, ready to stop the creatures from getting inside (or at least trying - plan B is to take away the doorbell) if the spell doesn't go up in time.
øùú Varadrion holds the daggers tightly now and says "Now might be the time to pray to whatever god you like"
øùú Rue holds her sword at the ready. She looks over at Varadrion, "They didn't help us before. Why would they help us now?"
øùú Shivayon is tempted to pray to herself, then remembers she isn't actually the Goddess of Death.
<@Narrator> They come. It is actually a rather strange sight, far away, it appears to be some sort of avalanche travelling across flat ground. Massive clouds of dust have been thrown up into the air by the pounding of the giant's feet. The stone giants are in the lead, their sandy-stone cousins at the back. In between are the Krats. The larger ones are churning up masses of ground (which is striking the sandy-stone creatures who don't seem to care).
øùú Faindil fiddles with his dagger, knowing that he probably won't use it too much.
øùú Varadrion looks at Rue, but says nothing, a small smile crossing his lips
<@Narrator> On the back of the larger Krats, or on top of the giant grey creatures are the dozens of smaller Krats. A few of them have charged ahead of the pack and are charging straight at their targets. They are still a few minutes away.
øùú Rue draws in a breath. "Everyone ready?" she asks, slightly shakily.
øùú Faelnon gulps, 'Well, this is fun.'
øùú Foilae says, 'I would just like to state, for the record, that I hate each and every one of you. So very much.'
øùú Faelnon can't help but smile a little, 'Feeling's mutual, Foilae.'
øùú Varadrion says "If the spell isn't up a few seconds after they reach us.. its over"
øùú Foilae continues, 'Well, I for one have lived a long and happy life. Well, right up to the point where I met any of you.'
øùú Shivayon just stares, the sword in her hands feels like a tonne weight.
øùú Rue looks over at Varadrion, grinning despite herself, "Well then Shandor better hurry the Tarkna up."
øùú Cyria clenches her fists and brushes her bangs out of her eyes as she stares down the approaching foes
øùú Varadrion closes his eyes and mutters a short prayer in elven
øùú Faindil looks around, "I'd just like to state that I don't really know any of you too well, so..."
<@Narrator> The army is nearly upon the house now.
øùú Faelnon gulps and wonders exactly how many strikes the staff will do before it is snapped in two.
øùú Rue looks around, "Good luck everyone. Let's all try to make it out alive. I don't feel like digging anymore graves."
øùú Faelnon nods gloomily, 'Agreed.'
øùú Varadrion steps back with one foot and assumes a stance to fight
<@Narrator> Suddenly, surprisingly, the army stops dead. It was if someone flicked the 'Off' switch. The dozens of smaller Krats jump off and form a front line. The sandy-stone and larger Krats form the second, leaving the grey-stone creatures, once leaders, now at the back line.
øùú Faelnon says, 'Everyone, pick your targets. Get ready.'
øùú Shivayon is finding difficulty breathing as she attempts to count the number of creatures.
øùú Foilae says, 'Gods bless us.'
øùú Varadrion removes his cloak and drops it on the ground, before re-assuming his stance
øùú Rue gives everyone an assuring nod, as if it would help.
øùú Faindil thinks he's going to pee himself.
øùú Varadrion looks at Foilae and says "God save us"
øùú Cyria says, "The gods are nothing as of now Varadrion, keep you mind focused"
øùú Varadrion spins his daggers
<@Narrator> The army is ready.
<@Narrator> Little animals in the hedge are trying to flee.
<@Narrator> It charges.
øùú Faelnon aims the end of his staff at one of the smaller Krats, closes his eyes, opens them and gets ready to strike.
<@Narrator> At that moment, a dozen or so lions leap from the roof of the house. They are twice the size of regular lions and look ten times more annoyed. They tackle several larger Krats and some smaller Krats, mauling and scratching at them.
øùú Varadrion picks two unlucky Krats and draws his daggers back, ready to throw
øùú Foilae 's eyes are closed, chanting intently and quietly.
øùú Rue screams a battle cry and rushes at a Krat, sword drawn.
øùú Faelnon swipes at a smaller Krat, catching it around the face. He continues the swing, spinning around and striking a second one with the butt of his staff.
øùú Varadrion throws the two daggers, catching two of the creatures in the throat, stopping them dead, and draws two new daggers
øùú Isondil draws his bow and fires an arrow felling a krat
øùú Shivayon thrusts forward and hits a smaller Krat in the throat before she rips the sword out and swings it around, full circle, slashing two more. 'I think I'm rather getting the hang of this.'
øùú Faindil runs along behind the rest of the group. He charges at a Krat, but, not knowing where to strike, is promptly tackled.
<@Narrator> A grey stone creature is trying to move at the group, but is blocked by a large Krat, who is trying to pick out its next target. Annoyed, the stone creatures picks the Krat up, tears it in two and throws the halves in opposite directions as they gush blood.
øùú Faindil closes his eyes and appears to be whimpering like a baby.
øùú Varadrion stabs the Krat on Faindil in the back of the head and kicks him away. "Be careful"
øùú Isondil continues to fire arrows at the krats but stops and looks up at the grey creature
øùú Faindil stands. "Thanks..." he mutters."
øùú Varadrion turns around and begins stabbing any Krat he can
øùú Isondil begins to back away from the Krats continuing to fire arrows at them
øùú Rue rolls under a Krat that had attempted to leap on top of her. She springs up behind it and stabs it in the back.
øùú Varadrion is tackled by a Krat
øùú Varadrion slashes at the back of its leg, dropping it to it's knees.. before breaking its neck
<@Narrator> A sandy-stone creature reaches Foilae, it swings and strikes him from the side, sending him crashing through the full-length windows of the house. The lions instantly disappear.
øùú Faindil drops his dagger. "Who am I kidding?" he asks himself before closing his eyes and turning to face a larger-Krat.
øùú Varadrion looks at the creature that struck Foilae, and, boosting himself off a Krat, jumps on it
øùú Rue turns and stares at Faindil. "The Tarkna is wrong with you?!" she cries.
øùú Faelnon smacks a smaller Krat over the head before he is nearly knocked over by a larger Krat.
øùú Faindil opens is his eyes and holds up one hand which faces the larger-Krat. The larger-Krat explodes into thousands of tiny particles which settle on the ground. Faindil falls back for a moment, completely exhausted.
øùú Cyria swings at a Krat who leapt at her, smashing its skull
øùú Isondil fires the last of his arrows at a Krat about to attack Varadrion
øùú Varadrion nods to Isondil
øùú Isondil replaces his bow and draws his rapier and rushes at a Krat
øùú Shivayon brings her sword down and chops a smaller Krat's head in half. She silently begins begging for Shandor to hurry up.
øùú Varadrion takes a slash from a Krat across the top of his forearm and groans
øùú Rue stands still for a moment, blinking at Faindil. "Did you just...the larger-Krat and..." She is cut off by the claws of a Krat which seemed to have found a nice place to rest - in her hip.
øùú Rue rolls over and stabs the Krat through the heart.
øùú Faelnon is lifted up by the end of his staff by a grey-stone. 'Um... Hi!'
øùú Isondil slashes at a Krats throat
øùú Faelnon is thrown wildly, hits the ground painfully and skids under the gaze of larger Krat.
øùú Cyria kicks a Krats knee in, toppling it over, and follows with a heel to he back of its head, cracking the skull into a bloody mess
øùú Varadrion grabs a Krat and holds it in front of him to block the others
øùú Rue charges at the larger-Krat that seems quite willing to have Faelnon as a snack.
øùú Foilae groans weakly at the base of the stairs in the house. He gives up trying to alert anyone else that he can groan and just slumps onto the floor and goes still.
øùú Isondil falls backwards as two Krats begin to attack him
øùú Faelnon scrambles away from the larger Krat as it snaps down with its beak - impaling it into the ground.
øùú Faelnon notices he still has his staff, he smacks the larger Krat over the head, seeming as it is stuck in the ground.
øùú Varadrion stabs at a Krat in front of him and drives his dagger into the neck on the one he’s holding, obviously wanting it do die painfully
øùú Faindil stands up, eyes now a glowing blue, as opposed to the bland brown they were before. He turns to another larger-Krat in an attempt to cast the spell again, but the larger-Krat smacks him aside, throwing him into Varadrion.
øùú Isondil plunges his rapier into one of the Krats as the other slashes his right arm
øùú Rue leaps at Faelnon's larger-Krat, stabbing it in the eye.
øùú Varadrion is knocked over by Faindil
<@Narrator> A grey-stone grabs Rue and lifts her into the air.
øùú Rue squeaks as the grey-stone lifts her into the air.
øùú Faelnon just has time to turn around before a larger Krat lifts him into the air with its dangerously sharp claws. He closes his eyes and waits for the ripping of flesh to hit his ears before he dies.
øùú Isondil kicks the other Krat in the leg felling it and jumping up taking his rapier
øùú Varadrion gets up and pulls Faindil up with him "Kill that one!" he shouts, pointing at the Grey-stone holding Rue
øùú Faindil looks at the grey-stone and stares at it for a moment. "It's made of stone." he says calmly. "It is not organic."
<@Narrator> A dozen or so larger Krats surround Isondil and Varadrion, one knocks Faindil to the ground and towers over him, preparing to rip his head off.
øùú Faindil stares up at the larger Krat and prepares his spell again.
øùú Varadrion cries out and jumps at the Krat standing over Faindil
øùú Shivayon is suddenly knocked over by a tail of a Large Krat striking her in the back.
øùú Faindil holds his hand up to the larger Krat and -KABLAMMO- it explodes much like the first one.
øùú Isondil sighs looking at Varadrion and follows him to attack the Krat standing over Faindil
øùú Faindil falls onto the ground, panting for breath.
øùú Varadrion is blown back by the force of the explosion and lands beside Faindil
øùú Rue attempts to struggle out of the grip of the grey-stone, failing miserably.
<@Narrator> A larger Krat traps Varadrion and Faindil underneath its foot. One move could rip them in two, and any more pressure would crush their chests.
<@Narrator> A few of the smaller Krats have broken into the house, the kids are valiantly beating them to death with their kitchen equipment.
øùú Varadrion closes his eyes and mutters a prayer, and re-opens his eyes
<@Narrator> The tower where Shandor was performing the spell is the scene of something rather odd. From the small slit windows, giant golden-white beams of light shoot out, the roof explodes in the same light, which also begins puncturing holes through the rock, until the walls explode outwards, leaving a mass of golden-white light. It glides gently down over the house, over the group and over the army.
øùú Isondil moves to attack the Krat attacking Varadrion and Faindil
øùú Rue pushes on the fist and nearly succeeds in escaping until the grey-stone creature squeezes with most, but not all, of its might.
<@Narrator> The light is painfully bright and blinding and is surrounded by an odd feeling of warmth.
øùú Faelnon shields his eyes but finds the light penetrates through his hands and eyelids.
øùú Faindil is too exhausted to even consider trying to escape, and so silently awaits his death.
øùú Foilae groans and watches it come through the ceiling and windows.
øùú Isondil jumps on the stone creature and stabs it in the eye
øùú Rue stares at the light (as if she had much of a choice) and attempts to gasp, but only manages to wheeze due to the pressure of the grey-stone's grip.
<@Narrator> After a minute or two of nothing happening, just the light bathing everything, it fades away. It leaves the house intact, save the tower, it leaves the group intact. The army, on the other hand, isn't there. It has just... gone.
øùú Faelnon falls to the ground.
øùú Isondil Falls to the ground
øùú Shivayon is lying on the ground, hands over her head. After a few moments, she looks up and blinks a few times.
øùú Varadrion breathes a sigh of relief
øùú Faelnon looks towards the ruins of the tower, he says giddily, 'They must have changed the spell!'
øùú Rue tumbles to the ground, landing on her stomach. She coughs for a good minute, and then rolls over and looks up at the sky.
øùú Shivayon brings Foilae over his wheelchair, 'That was... whoa.'
øùú Foilae says, 'It was... bright?'
øùú Isondil lands beside Varadrion accidentally hitting him in the head with his flailing arm
øùú Varadrion stands up and silently walks past everyone and into the house
<@Narrator> The children are looking rather confused, but thrilled that they are safe.
øùú Faelnon grins, 'Whoa is right. Come on, lets go congratulate them.'
øùú Faindil stands and brushes himself off, his eyes back to their normal color. "What happened to the monsters?"
øùú Faelnon almost bounces up the steps from joy.
øùú Foilae shrugs, 'They... disappeared.'
øùú Faelnon runs down the upstairs corridor and jets up the steps into the ruined tower. He pauses when he sees the sight.
øùú Rue stands and walks towards the house, appreciating the feel of air in the lungs again.
øùú Shandor is lying unconscious slightly off-centre. Ariea is nowhere in sight.
øùú Varadrion walks up behind Faelnon and looks at the tower
øùú Faindil walks with the others, a slight spring in his step. "I wonder where my dagger went..." he says to himself.
øùú Faelnon cautiously steps towards Shandor and crouches down beside him, 'Shandor?'
øùú Shandor groans and his eyes open slowly. He blinks a few times, surprised by the bright sky.
øùú Isondil stands up and makes his way over towards Varadrion
øùú Shandor sits up and looks around the ruined tower, looking for something hopelessly, knowing that it wouldn't be there.
øùú Rue sees the sight and gasps, running to Shandor's side. "Where's Ariea?" she blurts.
øùú Varadrion walks back out to the front of his house and collects his daggers, since they are no longer connected to the throat of a Krat.
øùú Faindil stands in the doorway. "What's going on?"
øùú Shandor looks around the room and says, quietly, peacefully, looking away from the others, a distant look comes into his eyes, 'She's gone.'
øùú Rue falls backwards, stunned. "She...she's what?"
øùú Isondil listens silently
øùú Shandor quietly, calmly, goes down the steps into the upstairs corridor, along it and down the steps and out towards the 'train.
øùú Varadrion walks back up to the group and looks at everyone, saying "Uh oh.. why does everyone look like that..."
øùú Rue pushes Faelnon out of the way and steps in front of Shandor, grabbing him by the shoulders. "Where is she?"
øùú Faelnon watches Shandor as he goes down the stairs, he looks back at the tower, and frowns.
øùú Faelnon puts a hand gently on Rue's shoulder and gives her a signal to just let him go.
øùú Varadrion looks at Shandor, and into the tower, and he realizes what has happened
øùú Rue watches as Shandor walks past her. She shakes her head and leans against a wall, a flood of emotion overcoming her. She covers her face with her hand and sighs.
øùú Faindil feels oddly out of place, and walks over to Rue, putting a hand on her shoulder.
øùú Varadrion mutters an elven prayer and bows his head
øùú Rue twitches and takes a step away from Faindil, waving him away.
øùú Faindil takes a step back, slightly put off. He shakes his head and heads for the 'train.
øùú Varadrion walks down to the main floor and looks around at the house
øùú Varadrion walks onto the train
øùú Isondil sighs and shakes his head before moving towards the train
<@Narrator> A few hours pass, the working parents come home and are shocked silly. There is a grand meal held for the group and each time the story is told by the children it becomes more and more grandiose.
<@Narrator> Finally, everyone learns that there were a million giant lizards, and millions of giant walking statues, oh, and a few minotaur and a dragon. And Peter and Francis led everyone to a great victory, single-handedly killing the dragon. James, Arella, Rho, Bethany, Peter and Thomas and Timothy killed a few things. Even Sera managed to take a couple out.
<@Narrator> Shandor was not in attendance.
<@Narrator> The night came quickly upon the household, and the group are still in the house. Well, more Isabeth forced them to stay to have more drinks and tales.
øùú Faelnon sneaks quietly out and goes to the 'train.
øùú Varadrion sits silently in the corner, black cloak on again, and looks at everyone
øùú Rue walks over to Faindil. "So, how did you just...decimate those Krats? That was amazing."
øùú Faelnon climbs onto the 'train and goes to Shandor's cabin. He knocks on the door.
øùú Faindil looks up from his drink. "Huh?"
øùú Faelnon waits for several seconds, after there is no response, he opens the door. No-one.
øùú Rue sighs. "The Krats. You just...blew 'em up. How?"
øùú Faindil raises an eyebrow. "I did?"
øùú Faelnon sighs, then notices that the plants from the Gnome fort, the ones that glow blue in the night, were missing.
øùú Isondil sits quietly looking around at the others thinking of the lonely journey home
øùú Faelnon frowns and steps back from the doorway when he thinks he sees someone up on the roof.
øùú Rue stares at Faindil. "Wha-Yes, you did."
øùú Faelnon quietly climbs up the side, only peaking over the top.
øùú Shandor is sitting, in a meditation stance, in the middle of a circle of the plants which are glowing softly. In front of him is a small dark-pink candle - unlit.
øùú Faindil blinks. "Oh. Good. I guess I'm getting better then."
øùú Rue is now completely bewildered. "Blurh?" she asks intelligently.
øùú Shandor opens his eyes and looks at Faelnon.
øùú Faelnon asks tentatively, 'You okay?'
øùú Faindil waves a hand at Rue. "It's not important." he says with a smile, getting up and walking away.
øùú Rue nearly drops her drink, but instead flops into a chair, quite confused.
øùú Shandor looks up at the sparkling stars, then at the candle. He gets the same distant look as before as he finally says, breathlessly, 'Yeah.'
øùú Varadrion walks up to Rue and looks at her, chuckling softly at her stupor
øùú Faelnon nods and climbs down and moves away, but just before he does he notices the tattoo of the Death-Bringers Shandor had on his hand is gone. He shrugs and looks at the household before heading to his own cabin.
øùú Shandor leans closer to the candle, whispers a word and a single, bright flame takes hold.
øùú Shandor enters his cabin and pauses suddenly.
øùú Isondil makes his way over towards Rue and Varadrion
øùú Faelnon enters his cabin and pauses suddenly.
<@Narrator> 'Hey Faely.'
øùú Faelnon says, 'What do you want?'
øùú Richard grins, 'Aw, always so straight and to the point. I thought we might have a chat first. Like how on earth that army didn't crush you into itty bitty bug pieces.'
øùú Faindil decides to make for the train to avoid further questioning. He walks slowly, gazing at the stars.
øùú Richard sighs, 'Oh, fine... it doesn't matter anyway. I'm just here as a polite courtesy, I don't have to be, but I thought after all your work you deserved it. Surely you sense it, something very bad is about to happen?'
øùú Faelnon made no comment, he did feel it.
øùú Richard says, 'The End, Faely. End of the World. It's tomorrow.'
øùú Richard continues, 'I've left the where's on your desk. Now, you may think this is a trap, but, frankly Faely, I don't really care about you people any more. It isn't as if you can make any difference any more, we've won, but I thought you'd like front-row seats to your death.'
øùú Rue waves to Isondil, and watches Faindil make for the door. "He...he BLEW UP the Krats. They just went.. poof. What..." she shakes her head, eyes wide.
øùú Richard says, 'And in case your little noggin can't work it out. We've hit A'lure, and we've hit Tildruin. The elves are against everyone, the humans are against everyone. Everyone is against everyone.'
øùú Richard grins, 'This is total war. All the races have declared war on each other. Don't believe me?' he takes several parchments from his pocket and lays them on the table - declarations of war.
øùú Isondil nods
øùú Varadrion looks at Rue and says "Powerful magic"
øùú Richard says, 'So anyway, come along, I'll get you some popcorn, maybe even a VIP box if you get here early enough. The traffic is going to be murder. Just like everything else.' He grins at his own joke.
øùú Rue looks at Varadrion, "But I don't think he knows..."
øùú Richard stands up and puts his hands on Faelnon's head, he leans close, grins broadly, 'Stay young, Faely.'
øùú Isondil says 'What's frightening though he didn't remember doing it'
øùú Varadrion replies "We can't change that... lets just hope he can do it again"
<@Narrator> With that, the Seventh is gone in a burst of flame.
øùú Varadrion says "That is very odd"
øùú Rue nods, bewildered.
øùú Faindil climbs onto the train, and then is hit with the sudden realization that he has no room.
øùú Varadrion says "We should get some sleep"
øùú Rue nods quickly. "Let's"
øùú Varadrion gets up and leads the way towards the train
øùú Isondil nods and yawns saying 'Yes let's'
øùú Foilae agrees silently, he thanks Isabeth for all the help and kindness and sets off towards the 'train.
øùú Shivayon says fond farewells, taking a moment to advise each child never to think of joining someone who is trying to save the world.
øùú Rue follows behind the rest, waving to the children.
øùú Isondil follows
øùú Shivayon leaves the house and returns to her small cabin and slumps on the bed. She is asleep within seconds.
øùú Faindil walks along the side of the 'train before the approaching three catch his eye.
øùú Rue looks at Faindil, tempted to ask him a question, but refraining.
øùú Faindil sighs, "I seem to have no cabin. Do you know if there's a spare one?"
øùú Rue is tempted to point out that Shandor's cabin is open, but realizes that this wouldn't be the time to do so. "The third or fourth one, I believe, is empty." she says, walking past him.
øùú Faindil takes the third or fourth cabin, whichever one was empty, and falls asleep quickly.
øùú Varadrion climbs onto the roof and looks around slowly, not wanting to sleep

<@Shandor> *shoots*
<@Shandor> It's a good name though
<@Shandor> *molests it*
øùú Faindil leaps back. "BAD FAELNON! Er...Shandor."
<@Shandor> Right now, giant stone things are chasing us, Faelnon is struggling to put his pants on and people I know and work with may be setting up a fan club for me. My name is Shandor, and this is the worst session of my life.
<@Shandor> Previously On 2-er- 'Quest' 2+1. Yes, that'll do:
<@Faindil> ooc - lmao
<@Faelnon> 'You tried to kill him?' Shandor.
<@Faelnon> 'Ah ah, Faely, Shindy. Back off.' The Seventh, a.k.a. Richard
<@Faelnon> 'Could I get a medal?' Ariea.

<@Rue> ooc - How could you even have CONSIDERED skipping that?
<@Rue> ooc - *standing...uhm...ovates*
<@Shandor> OOC: lol
<@Faelnon> The following events take place... during a day. All events occur in real-time (yeah, bollox)
<@Rue> ooc - But we just started three minutes ago, so you haven't missed anything
<+Varadrion> ooc: Figures... lol
<@Rue> ooc - just be meandering around the 'train or something.
<@Shandor> OOC: Well, you missed the very funny '24' sum up.
<@Rue> ooc - So there.
øùú Faindil runs alongside the train, "HEEEEEEEYY!!!!"
øùú Faelnon looks at Rue, 'What?'
øùú Faindil screams, "HEY, STOP!
<+Varadrion> ooc: good call
øùú Faelnon comments, 'He's doing well to keep up with the 'train.'
øùú Rue shakes her head. "Nope."
øùú Faelnon rolls his eyes, 'Nevermind.'
øùú Foilae stops just outside his cabin and finds himself rolling very quickly the other way.
[I am so surprised that no-one mocked that. –Ariea. Yes, Ariea. Esal sucked so we fired him, and if you read the logs you know why I need a job, and if you haven’t: YOU SUCK.]
øùú Rue sighs, "Don't get your hopes up. This house could be like the creepy funhouse-school-of-death."
øùú Shandor looks at Rue, 'Creepy funhou... no, never mind.'
øùú Varadrion slips a hand inside his cloak "Something about the feels very wrong"
<@Shandor> OOC: O_o - Lucky for you I'm not going to point out that line.
<@Faindil> ooc - lmao
[Can I mention it? Oh can I? Pretty please? –Ariea]
<@Cyria> ooc: iwould have to agree with Varadrion for once, something is very wrong with "the"
<@Faindil> ooc - LOL!!
øùú Shandor tries to convey his message of 'The horses aren't moving, we'll just have deal with it here,' to Faelnon silently and discreetly, but no doubt failed.
øùú Faelnon watches Shandor conduct air traffic.
øùú Rue leans over to Shandor. "I think you're telling Faelnon that his landing gear isn't down..."
øùú Shandor looks at Rue, 'I thought that was his equipment wasn't working?'
øùú Faindil quickly follows behind the woman.
<@Rue> ooc - PFFT
<+Varadrion> ooc: Rue.. you know in the time period of the quest.. there is no landing gear
<@Rue> ooc - That's not the point. :p
<+Varadrion> ooc: Doesn't matter :P
<@Shandor> OOC: AHem, everyone saw the 'Events occor in Real Time', right? Well, 'Real Time' has aircraft :P
<+Varadrion> ooc: there are no aircraft in tildruin
<@Rue> ooc - :p
<@Shandor> OOC: There are... Now.
<+Varadrion> ooc: I doubt you have THAT much sway
<@Shandor> OOC: Yay, big long narration for the penultimate session.
<@Shandor> OOC: *kicks bag labelled 'Shailejron' which gives a yelp*

Shailejron: I am perfectly okay. I have not been kidnapped. I am also not saying this under duress... PLEASE HELP!
Shandor & Faelnon: *shove him off screen with guns*
Ariea: Heh heh heh... moving on.]
<+Varadrion> ooc: wut the hell does penultimate mean? lol
<@Rue> ooc - Second to last
<@Shandor> OOC: God bless Canada.
<@Shandor> OOC: I mean what Rue said
øùú Varadrion gives colm the finger
<@Cyria> ooc - err shouldn't you be giving Faelnon the "finger"
<@Shandor> OOC: Is that why no-one came? o.o;; "What the? I can't go if I don't know what it means! I'll be mocked!" (Varadrion, of course, had nothing to worry about, we always mock him.)
<+Varadrion> ooc: If tildruin has aircraft, it must have Colm as well
<@Shandor> OOC: Phear Teh Colm.
<@Cyria> ooc: ON WITH IT! (monty python > j
<@Shandor> OOC: I'm waiting for Isondil (Like Varadrion.)
<+Varadrion> ooc: To hell with him.. if he was coming he'd be here, lets go
<@Shandor> OOC: Aw, given up on him or XXX grating on your soul? :P
<+Varadrion> ooc: Both? lol
<@Faindil> OOC - we couldn't help it. it was the Porno Session! We HAD to
<@Shandor> OOC: *prods Isondil with hardback copies of XXX*
<+Varadrion> ooc: Is he comin?
<@Cyria> ooc: teh se><0rz
<@Shandor> OOC: I think so.
<@Rue> ooc - hehe
<@Shandor> OOC: Isondil... isn't coming. He delayed Teh Uber Narration.
<@Rue> ooc - Why not?
<@Shandor> OOC: *shrugs*
<+Varadrion> ooc: What a whore... (isondil, not rue, for once)
<@Cyria> ooc: burned...
<@Shandor> The old lady, Isabeth, has three children, who each have two or three. The youngest of all, four year old Sera, is running about outside with her five year old twin brothers, Timothy and Thomas.
<@Shandor> The father of Sera, son-in-law of Isabeth, is in the kitchen cooking. His wife is reading, while also maintaining a watchful eye on the three outside. The games area was currently in use by James, Peter and Francis, who were playing a slightly obscure game.
<+Varadrion> ooc: A man cooking.. what kind of alternate universe is this!
<@Shandor> OOC: And a woman doing the dishes, eh Rue? :P
<@Rue> ooc - *glare*
[No-one else will get that, but no, it isn’t sexist, it (well, Varadrion’s comment might be), relates to something that happened earlier. And since you don’t know or care you won’t care that this note was here to explain that you don’t know or care. Whoa, Shandor must be rubbing off on me. –Ariea]
<@Shandor> In the living area, Jeremiah, William and Jumping Jehoshaphat were talking about the latest match with a local town. Arella, Rho and Bethany were rolling their eyes before talking about certain members of the other team of that match.
<@Shandor> OOC: Favourite character is in there. R0><0r.
<@Shandor> Outside, where Sera, Thomas and Timothy are playing, there are several rows of trees, a couple of apple, one oak and a couple beech. Along the edges of the house there are flowerbeds full of vibrant flowers, most of them beginning to blossom again.
<+Varadrion> ooc: if this isn't ALL important I'm gonna be pissed
<@Shandor> OOC: :P
<+Varadrion> ooc: Please god be finished...
<@Shandor> And just so it isn't finished. VARADRION SUCKS is the household song.
<@Rue> ooc - And lo, The Group Got Their Drinks, Said Thank You, And Left.
<@Shandor> OOC: lol
<@Shandor> OOC: The true purposeful narration.
<@Shandor> Oh, and add a random parent, Enid, in there. (Barenaked Ladies: 'Enid')
<@Rue> ooc - *blink*
øùú Varadrion says to Faelnon and Shandor "Shouldn't we be working on getting the horses moving?"
øùú Varadrion continues "Instead of trying to protect some random house?"
øùú Shandor turns to Varadrion, 'The army is killing everything in its way, hows about you explain to that little girl out there why she has to die?'
øùú Faelnon says, 'We are being chased by an army of creatures, they are destroying anything in their paths and the horses are nearly dead from fatigue. We have a barrier spell but we can only do it while stationary - this is a good as place as any.'
øùú Varadrion turns to Shandor and replies "Explain that to Isondil's wife... or your own... for that mater"
øùú Ariea waves to Varadrion.
<+Varadrion> ooc: She *was* dead
<@Cyria> ooc: /me is surprisingly calm as she rips varadrions heart out and feeds it to terrorists
<@Faelnon> OOC: Lmao. And Shandor cheers her on.
<@Shandor> OOC: Kickass, I can get bigger breasts, naturally. Sweet. I love e-mail.
<@Rue> ooc - That's funny. The only emails I get are about enlarging my penis. hmmm...
<@Shandor> OOC: Trade? No, wait, I want big breasts. Go to hell!
<@Rue> ooc - lmao
øùú Shandor says, 'Varadrion look at the horses. They are about to die if we push them any more. If we have no horses, we have no means of travel. If we have no means of travel, the army catches up and kills us. We can create a barrier spell to prevent them, but we need to do it now otherwise we die pointlessly.'
øùú Varadrion says to Shandor "Then do it"
øùú Shandor rolls his eyes, 'I'm trying to, someone keeps stopping.'
<+Varadrion> ooc: damnit...
øùú Varadrion looks at Shandor and says "I'll help them clear it out"
<@Shandor> Isabeth calls to Varadrion, 'Don't break your nails, dear.'
<@Shandor> OOC: brb doorbell
<@Rue> ooc - rofl

<@Shandor> OOC: Bad Faelnon, get those thoughts out of your head.
<+Varadrion> ooc: If its at my expense.. I'm leaving :P
øùú Rue comes to the shocking realization that they'll need to fight. He nervously takes a dagger from hs belt.
<@Shandor> OOC: ... He?
<+Varadrion> ooc: Finally.. the truth!
<@Faelnon> OOC: I just thought that was... wasn't... real... Damn, that's $50 worth spent!

<@Faindil> ooc - /me slaughters Colm.
<@Shandor> OOC: *grins evilly*
<@Shandor> Isabeth stands in front of them, facing the front door, as if expecting the stone creatures to come up and ring the doorbell. Which, if they did, would be very polite of them, considering they were murderous beasts.
<@Shandor> The group are assembled outside, ready to stop the creatures from getting inside (or at least trying - plan B is to take away the doorbell) if the spell doesn't go up in time.
<@Shandor> From the house you can hear... 'Ariea, what?! No, now isn't the time! ... What do you mean danger makes you... did I leave the window open?'
<@Rue> ooc - lmao
<@Ariea> OOC: See, we are cutting down on the sleeze. Honest.

<@Rue> ooc - lol, took long enough adam.

<@Shandor> The army is ready.
<@Shandor> The mice in the house all look towards the army and go 'Gyah!'.
<@Shandor> Little animals in the hedge are going, 'Shi-i-ite.'
<+Varadrion> ooc: Um.. lmao?
<@Shandor> OOC: Jack Dee is a funny, funny man.
<@Shandor> It charges.
<+Isondil> ooc: Indeed he is
<+Varadrion> ooc: It?
<@Shandor> OOC: The army. Not the animals...
<@Shandor> OOC: Now that would be a kickass twist.
<+Varadrion> ooc: wouldn't last long.. but it'd be comedic
<@Shandor> At that moment, a dozen or so lions leap from the roof of the house. They are twice the size of regular lions and look ten times more annoyed. They tackle several larger Krats and some smaller Krats, mauling and scratching at them.
<@Shandor> OOC: Meh, close enough.
<@Shandor> A grey stone creature is trying to move at the group, but is blocked by a large Krat, who is trying to pick out its next target. Annoyed, the stone creatures picks the Krat up, tears it in two and throws the halves in opposite directions as they gush blood.
<@Shandor> OOC: By the by, that narration is just to prove how much more kickass the grey-stoners are compared to the larger Krats who we could barely defeat.
<+Varadrion> ooc: Well.. my char would particularly like to thank you for the murder of that Krat
øùú Faindil closes his eyes and appears to be whimpering like a baby.
<+Varadrion> ooc: By the way.. they *do* have knees right?
<@Faelnon> OOC: Why not?
<@Shandor> A sandy-stone creature reaches Foilae, it swings and strikes him from the side, sending him crashing through the full-length windows of the house. The lions instantly disappear.
<@Shandor> OOC: I'm opening the betting as to whether or not the cripple survived that one.
<+Varadrion> ooc: i'm betting yes.. justr because hes one of yours, lol
<+Varadrion> ooc: How big are sandy stones?
<@Shandor> OOC: Er... slightly smaller than the grey ones. Basically the size off... two trolls on top of each other? [Faelnon not that way! Goddammit Faelnon.]
<@Rue> ooc - lmoa
<@Rue> ooc - or something like that
øùú Faindil opens is his eyes and holds up one hand which faces the larger-Krat.
<+Varadrion> ooc: Wait.. Faindil can just explode those big ones
<+Varadrion> ooc: ?
<@Faindil> ooc - But it took a ton of energy out of him
<@Shandor> OOC: Yeah... why not? O_o
<+Varadrion> ooc: but still... like.. kablammo!
<@Faindil> ooc - *nod nod*
<@Faindil> ooc - but he can't fight for crap, so it balances out somehow
<@Cyria> ooc : err kablammo? O_o
<+Varadrion> ooc: coulda used you in that dream episode *glares at colm*
<@Faindil> ooc- I just made him up today due to lack of attendees.
<+Varadrion> ooc: Yes kablammo
<@Shandor> OOC: Hi Varadrion! :P
øùú Varadrion nods to Insondil
<+Isondil> ooc: Insondil?
<+Varadrion> ooc: sorry, lol
<@Shandor> OOC: What, exactly, was your character thinking of when you made that typo? *whistles innocently* For all intents and purposes, we'll make it seem like you actually did those logs.
<@Shandor> A grey-stone stomps on Varadrion for being cheeky.
<+Varadrion> ooc: *holds up small cartoon umbrella*
øùú Faindil holds his hand up to the larger Krat and -KABLAMMO- it explodes much like the first one.
øùú Varadrion cries out and jumps at the Krat standing over Faindil
øùú Isondil sighs looking at Varadrion and follows him to attack the Krat standing over Faindil
<@Shandor> OOC: We're not getting the aspect of being surrounded, are we?
<@Shandor> A larger Krat traps Varadrion and Faindil underneath its foot. One move could rip them in two, and any more pressure would crush their chests.
<@Faindil> ooc - There ya go
<@Shandor> A few of the smaller Krats have broken into the house, the kids are valiantly beating them to death with their kitchen equipment.
<+Varadrion> ooc: Kids.. killing Krats... not likely
<@Shandor> OOC: Small Krats :D
<@Shandor> OOC: Besides, some are like... sixteen, they could totally kick Krat ass, I mean, look at Isondil.
<+Varadrion> ooc: Child Krats fighting child humans
<+Isondil> ooc: I just have the mental power of a four year old. I'm not actually one
<@Shandor> OOC: Ah,
<@Shandor> OOC: Same difference
<@Rue> ooc - how tall are the gray stones
<@Rue> ooc - in actual measurements?
<@Shandor> OOC: Well, they aren't anymore. And I don't know.
<@Rue> ooc - :p
<@Shandor> OOC: I don't work in actual things. (numbers bigger than 10 confuse certain members of the community)
<+Isondil> ooc: Yeah!
øùú Isondil lands beside Varadrion accidentally hitting him in the head with his flailing arm
<@Shandor> OOC: Go Isondil!
<@Shandor> OOC: You sad, sad people.
<@Shandor> OOC: I mean, at least Faelnon has his reasons, he wants Shandor. You, by that logic... want... Shandor. EEEK.
<+Varadrion> ooc: I bet I know what happened to Ariea
<@Shandor> OOC: Go on then.
<+Isondil> ooc: yay!
<+Varadrion> ooc: nah
<+Varadrion> ooc: you explain
<+Varadrion> ooc: you'd do a better job anyways, lol [Kickass. I rule ;) – DrCBVI]
09:28.02¯ Go on then, what *has* happened? :D
09:28.08¯ ... Er, not that I don't already know
09:28.10¯ ... Honest.
09:28.17¯ well she got her body from Death.. right?
09:28.22¯ right
09:28.39¯ So, whatever got rid of all those other evil things.. prolly got rid of that body, since it *was* death
09:28.54¯ Ooo, that's actually an interesting idea
09:29.02¯ It isn't actually right, but still, interesting nonetheless.
09:29.22¯ (the army is Richard's, 'Death' is just the lapdog who is now trapped in the dimension the Kid is in)
09:32.09¯ I'll be late again next week
09:32.18¯ Yay.
09:32.25¯ ... It's the finale! *bitchslap*
09:32.31¯ Hockey, lol
09:32.40¯ ... FINALE *BITCHSLAP*
09:32.41¯ :P
09:33.05¯ Lol.. I'll be there, just a bit late
09:33.26¯ Slapping of Bitches. What are you missing here? >:D
09:34.06¯ Lol
09:34.17¯ I'm guessing the changing of the spell had sumpin to do with Ariea goin
09:34.33¯ Perhaps
09:37.00¯ Lol... um.. anything to do with him being a death bringer?
09:37.09¯ Perhaps.
09:37.47¯ Damn the perhaps-es-es
09:38.32¯ ... Perhaps? >:P
09:38.41¯ lol
09:38.47¯ Tattoo is gone tho
09:38.50¯ Yep
09:39.58¯ weird
øùú Faelnon waits a few seconds before saying, 'So... you are like... available? *Smack* What!?'
<@Shandor> OOC: You'll have to wait for the 'mezzo.
<@Rue> ooc - Which I get first!
<@Shandor> Ha ha!
<@Shandor> OOC: *mocks the others*
<@Rue> ooc - *mocks alongside Shandor*
<@Ariea> Ariea returns and bitchslaps Isondil.
<@Shandor> OOC: And lo, everyone is happy.
<@Shandor> OOC: There's only one thing that applies here:
<@Shandor> Oh Mandy...
<@Shandor> You came and you gave without taking...
<@Shandor> But I sent you away...
<@Shandor> Oh Mandy...
<@Rue> ooc - *shoots Colm*
øùú Faelnon puts a hand gently on Rue's shoulder and gives her a signal to just let him go.
øùú Varadrion looks at Shandor, and into the tower, and he realizes what has happened
øùú Rue watches as Shandor walks past her.
<+Isondil> ooc: major shoulder touching
øùú Rue twitches and takes a step away from Faindil, waving him away.
<@Rue> ooc - pwned
<@Rue> ooc - or something
øùú Faindil takes a step back, slightly put off. He shakes his head and heads for the 'train.
<@Shandor> OOC: At this point I really thought about having Shandor go evil and be the Big Bad at the end of it all. That's one of the alternate finales I'll be showcasing after the Finale.
<@Rue> ooc - dun dun duuun
<+Varadrion> ooc: Great.. we have an amnesiac wizard who can just blow shit up
<@Shandor> OOC: lmao. Damn, he is trying to out crazy Shandor. No-one out-crazies Shandor!
<@Faindil> ooc - lmao
<@Shandor> OOC: Hey who nanny nanny wotsit! *cartwheels and dives out of a window*, out crazy that. Bi-otch.
øùú Rue is now completely bewildered. "Blurh?" she asks intelligently.
<+Varadrion> ooc: well said Rue, well said
<@Rue> ooc - Thank you *bow*
<@Shandor> OOC: Even better than Shandor's intelligent plan of 'Err...'
<@Rue> ooc - lmao, i forgot about that one
<@Faelnon> OOC: "If you need someone to go to..."
øùú Shandor enters his cabin and pauses suddenly.
<@Shandor> ... OOC: Wrong guy again
<@Shandor> OOC: *kicks*
øùú Isondil makes his way over towards Rue and Varadrion
<@Shandor> OOC: Er... I blame Rue for doing it the first time! *whistles innocently*
øùú Richard grins, 'Aw, always so straight and to the point. I thought we might have a chat first. Like how on earth that army didn't crush you into itty bitty bug pieces.'
<+Varadrion> ooc: This guy is a real vulture eh
<@Shandor> OOC: He's a fun guy.
øùú Richard sighs, 'Oh, fine... it doesn't matter anyway. I'm just here as a polite courtesy, I don't have to be, but I thought after all your work you deserved it. Surely you sense it, something very bad is about to happen?'
<+Varadrion> ooc: "Something bad is about to happen" Thank you captain obvious...
<@Foilae> OOC: OH god! Ariea is coming back!?
<@Foilae> OOC: I mean, ooo, Richard, scarey.
[*gets Desert Eagle* -Ariea]
øùú Faindil climbs onto the train, and then is hit with the sudden realization that he has no room.
<+Varadrion> ooc: rue will be MORE then happy to share
<@Rue> ooc - Na na na na na na na na SUPERWHORE
<+Isondil> ooc: then?
<@Shandor> OOC: But he is like ... a klutz. Shandor is free!
<@Shandor> OOC: I mean: I'm grieving.
<@Faindil> ooc - Did Faelnon go back to his or Shandor's cabin?
<@Shandor> OOC: ... Faelnon's o.o;;
øùú Rue is tempted to point out that Shandor's cabin is open, but realizes that this wouldn't be the time to do so. "The third or fourth one, I believe, is empty." she says, walking past him.
<@Shandor> OOC: o.o;; - Shandor's cabin is Shandor's, dagnabbit. You stay away. I have cool junk in there, my collection of 'Quest' Plates is kickass.
<@Rue> ooc - Oh yeah? Well I have, in its entirety, the collection of 'Quest' mugs.
<@Rue> ooc - I win
<@Faindil> ooc - I'm done too!
<@Richard> OOC: I don't know, if I'm done, I'm not tired - I'm quite Perky. HA HA HA. Oh get stuffed then.
<@Shandor> :~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~: I would say something, but I'm sad because Ariea is gone. :~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:

03/09/07 20:21:01 Lol, good

03/09/07 20:21:20 <@Shandor> and Shandor

03/09/07 20:26:52 Haha
03/09/07 20:27:02 not bad at all
03/09/07 20:27:36 <@Rue> Yeah, well..I've played something better that involves humans than human twister

03/09/07 21:26:41 <@Rue> it was so funny
