1) Can one make a primitive flying/driving vehicle?

At the moment there aren't any flying vehicles. Do you have any good examples?

2) What type of vehicles will there be? If you can reach the other side of the ocean you'd presumably need boats. Travelling across the map, could you use wagons, horses etc.?

There will be horses for travelling on land.

3) Will any of the races be able to work with glass?

DrCBVI answers:

To my understanding each race can use all manner of materials, some better than others and vice versa

4) Can a character make toys?

Shailejron answers:

Sure. :)

5) On the map there is a sea, will we be able to build boats?

Shailejron answers:

The first step will be to implement ships so that you can travel to nearby islands. After that anything is possible if we prioritize it highly enough.
